Gyorokke turned out to be a disappointing purchase at the festival. It was a mediocre croquette made from fish paste, lacking the deliciousness of a traditional meat croquette. It was salty and didn't live up to its reputation as a specialty dish. I would rate it 2 out of 5. Definitely not worth the high price of 350 yen each. I won't be buying Gyorokke again.

The 450th shop is "Kouou Log Cafe". It is located next to my favorite "Nekoya Shokudo", but I have never been there before. This time, I tried the "Shabu Shabu" which is a winter limited menu. The price for other food items is around 1000 yen, which is quite reasonable. They also sell bento boxes, frozen hamburgers, sausages, and various meats. The Shabu Shabu set came with a good amount of meat and vegetables, but it took about 30 minutes to cook due to the low temperature of the soup and the small solid fuel stove. The vegetables were plentiful, and the meat was delicious. However, it may not be suitable for those in a hurry. Overall, it was a satisfying and healthy meal. Next time, I will try the recommended hamburger.

I visited a day trip hot spring where money talks. Then I arrived at a campsite that is well-maintained but feels empty. I bought some pork barbecue and bologna from a log house, along with local asparagus. Hokkaido is definitely vast. When you take a break from riding your bike in various towns, you can feel the color of that town. It feels like being in the shoes of Tetsuro from Galaxy Express 999, feeling and moving on to the next place. The meat here is undeniably delicious. There are various things in the town, making it very convenient. But maybe because I couldn't see any smiles around here... I don't know why, but it reminded me of when I went to Brunei. I felt lonely.

Before eating, I had stopped by this shop a few times to buy sausages and hand-made hamburgers. But this time, I had my first meal here. When I looked at the menu on the table, I was surprised by the incredibly low prices. There were items starting from ¥500. I ordered the hamburger spaghetti. It didn't come with salad or soup, but to get spaghetti with a hamburger on top for this price (¥800) made me very happy. The most expensive item here is the steak set for ¥1000. I definitely want to try the steak set next time. Lastly, the shop is very clean and the staff are friendly, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal.

I remember that a construction company used the road subsidy program to enter the pig farming industry, and a restaurant called "Kouou Log Cafe" provided dishes using processed products from those pigs. The warm wooden log house left a lasting impression, providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Located prominently along a national highway with a spacious parking lot, it was easy to access. The Hidaka Pork direct sales store produces healthy "Hidaka Whey Pasture Pork" raised through grazing on the farm. You can also enjoy light meals and coffee there. The log house along the national highway has a wood stove, creating a relaxing atmosphere with the scent of wood. Next to the log house, they keep goats as pets.
