I discovered this restaurant through kimumiyu's new store information, but when I inquired with the manager about how to pronounce the name, the signage changed to Japanese (lol). The restaurant is located at an intersection without traffic lights, on a narrow alley corner, making it surprisingly inconspicuous. Additionally, there have been several cases where new stores opened in this area only to close within a year, so I couldn't help but think, "Wait, wasn't there a restaurant called ○○ around here?" I drove to the location but missed it. I thought it should be around here, but when I passed the same spot again, I found it. It's not surprising that I didn't notice it. The restaurant's name is written on the wall, but it blends in with the wall color, making it hardly noticeable. Since there was no parking space available, I parked at the nearby Hokuyo Bank parking lot and entered the restaurant. Inside, there was only a mother with elementary school children as the first customer. However, at the same time, a group of three women entered, and all the table seats were taken. There was a young man in the kitchen, and I wondered if he was running the place alone. If so, handling both cooking and serving alone would likely cause delays, but there was a young woman in charge of the hall, so I didn't worry. The owner has a sturdy physique like a rugby player but is very gentle. I ordered curry, and my wife ordered Bolognese. The lunch menu was limited, but it came with salad and a soft drink. You could choose a soft drink from the menu, I chose Perrier, and my wife chose coffee. When the curry arrived, it was served on a long plate. I tried the curry first, and I couldn't help but smile. The curry was more like a sauce than a roux, very soft, almost like a thick soup curry. The taste was a blend of spices and smoked aroma, with the initial scent of spices followed by a lingering smoked aroma upon swallowing. It was an exquisite flavor. I had never eaten this kind of curry before and was impressed by the approach. The spiciness was similar to a spicy commercial curry, quite distinct. So, it may be too spicy for those who are not fond of spicy food, so it's best to consider that when ordering. My wife's Bolognese did not have much smoked flavor but was delicious. I would like to visit at night for a drink if I have the chance.
