2023/1 First Visit January 21, 2023 Congratulations on the opening of the store. Today in Sapporo, the weather is extremely stormy. There was a blizzard all the way to the shop. It's impressive that the shop opened today, but it seems that the bad weather is keeping customers away. This location used to be the delicious curry shop "Nikudaku Curry PAIKA45," which used rare meats, but unfortunately closed. Before that, it was the Chinese restaurant "Menya Gaburi," which paid homage to "Ramen Taisho." The layout of the shop is almost the same as "Menya Gaburi," clearly a takeover. "Fried Rice" 880 yen A large portion of fried rice with shrimp. The fried rice is moist and delicious with plenty of char siu. The seasoning is elegant, reminiscent of hotel Chinese cuisine. It's a delicious fried rice, but for this price, I would expect at least some soup and pickled vegetables on the side. Still, this fried rice shows the skill of the owner. "Thick Sesame Oil Noodles with Oyster Sauce" 990 yen Chosen by my family. It was the first time my family tried warm mixed noodles. The oyster sauce creates a rich and flavorful dish. This also showcases the skill of the owner. The ingredients include komatsuna, char siu, mizuna, bell pepper, onion, and fluffy egg. It has the taste of high-quality hotel Chinese cuisine. "Black Vinegar Mixed Noodles with Scallion Oil" 990 yen Chosen by my daughter. After a taste, I noticed that the black vinegar flavor is not very strong, which actually emphasizes its elegance. It's also delicious. The ingredients are the same as the other mixed noodles, so it's a bit disappointing that there's no visible difference. "Almond Jelly" We were served "Almond Jelly" as a complimentary dessert. It has the almond flavor and a milky taste that I like. It's smooth and delicious almond jelly. All of the dishes are very delicious Chinese cuisine. Looking at the accolades displayed in the shop, it's clear that the owner is highly skilled in the world of Chinese cuisine. If the quality is on par with hotel Chinese cuisine, then I think the prices are quite reasonable. However, in this area of Higashi-ku, it may still give off a "expensive" impression. Across the street from this shop, there is the popular Chinese restaurant "Hokkaifanten Higashiten," and nearby there are other popular Chinese restaurants like "Chuka Chubo Shinoa," "Bohai Restaurant," and "Chuka Maruchyo." It's a competitive area filled with popular Chinese restaurants. To survive, some bold strategies may be necessary.
