I also bought a chiffon cake and a scone, each costing around 220 yen. The chiffon cake was a huge whole cake for 1500 yen, which is a great price! The crepe had a soft and chewy texture, and it was delicious. The thickness of the crepe was just right, not too thin or too thick. They even put double layers of paper in the wrapping to prevent any leakage, which I appreciated. It happened to be their 2nd anniversary, and I got to draw a lottery and won a strawberry shaved ice. The shaved ice had a fine texture and was not too crunchy, and the syrup was generously poured over it, making it flavorful until the last bite. This was the first time I saw such a bright red shaved ice! I read that the restaurant is run by a family of three, and I feel a strong desire to support them. I will definitely visit again!

The soft serve ice cream had a rich and sticky texture with a strong flavor, which was also delicious. Some students who seem to be returning from club activities are also there, indicating that it's a popular spot. I opted for items that I could take home, so I purchased a plain chiffon cake slice for 200 yen, a chocolate banana for 220 yen, and a walnut and chocolate chip scone for 180 yen. Since everything was already individually packaged, I didn't have to wait. The chiffon cake can be stored for up to 2 days at temperatures below 15℃. I also won a chiffon cake in the second prize draw, which was moist and fluffy with walnuts and a delicious brown sugar flavor. I really liked it and would love to come back here again. This seems to be popular among high school girls. I'm not a big fan of sweet things, so I ordered the ham and tuna cheese crepe. I can't remember the last time I had a crepe, but the texture is super chewy. Since it's ham and tuna cheese, it tastes like a burrito. It goes well with beer (laughs). The white peach cake looked really delicious. I think I'll try a different crepe next time.

I was in Kitami for work and noticed a shop that is usually closed was open. It turned out to be a different shop. I decided to stop by on my way back. The shop had a variety of menu items, but I chose the chiffon cake because I like it. There were two customers who seemed to be friends. I ordered a plain chiffon cake with cream. It was soft and moist with just the right amount of sweetness. The cream was also delicious. I enjoyed the chiffon cake on a Sunday morning, even though eating alone may have looked pitiful to others. Overall, it was a delicious chiffon cake.

I ordered a plain chiffon cake, a crepe with condensed milk (I think), and a mango smoothie. The mango smoothie was okay, but I think it could have been better. The chiffon cake was a bit on the pricier side for Kitami, but it was incredibly light and delicious, so I think it's worth it. Now, the real standout was the crepe. I highly recommend trying the crepes with cream filling here! You'll immediately notice that they use real whipped cream instead of the usual frozen whipped cream found in most crepe shops. It's a rare treat to find crepes made with real cream in Hokkaido, and I've only ever had them at a famous shop in Hakodate. So, it's quite a luxury to be able to enjoy them in Kitami. Just keep in mind that because they use real cream, the crepes don't hold up well if you need to carry them around for a long time. If you're a true sweets connoisseur who can appreciate the difference between frozen and real whipped cream, I highly recommend giving these crepes a try!"
