The other day, my husband and I went to Hamakko-san to eat seafood bowls. The restaurant has good access and is directly connected to Sapporo Station underground. It opens from 10:30 am, and you can enjoy delicious local sake, beer, and seafood from lunchtime. The best part is the variety of seafood bowls - it's great! In addition to sashimi soy sauce, they also have a special soy sauce made with miso paste, which was deliciously different. The most popular dish is the "Hamakko Bowl" for 3,800 yen, a super luxurious seafood bowl topped with locally sourced Shiraoi beef tataki. The combination of meat and seafood was exquisite and incredibly delicious. They offer a special discount for the seafood bowl (regularly 1,800 yen) to 1,000 yen if you mention seeing it on Instagram or watch the video they have. As a potato lover, I must say that their potato butter and salted cod roe combination was amazing. They use aged Megumi potatoes that have been aged for a year, which makes them incredibly sweet and delicious. I highly recommend trying it! Apart from seafood bowls, they also have a variety of other menu items such as seasonal asparagus and scallop butter. However, the restaurant's specialty dish, "Oyster Tadaku," is incredibly delicious! Some people come to the restaurant just for this dish, and it's definitely worth it. It's a must-try for tourists visiting Hokkaido as well. Let's enjoy delicious sake and luxurious seafood bowls at a great price from lunchtime!

4-1 Kita 4 Jonishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido. Located in the Yomiuri Hokkaido Building, right next to JR Sapporo Station South Exit, with a direct passage to the station. The building also houses Hotel Gracery Sapporo. In the basement, you can find the second branch of the popular local seafood izakaya, Hamakko. They recently started serving lunch from April 4th. I heard they have a great deal on seafood bowls, so I decided to visit. I arrived at the store at 10:45 am, just before the lunchtime rush. The owner of this place is from Haboro on the Sea of Japan side, known for his expertise in selecting the freshest seafood. The interior is cozy with a few tables and a counter. They are currently offering a special price of 1000 yen for a seafood bowl that is usually 1800 yen. I ordered the one with Shiraoi beef tataki as well. The seafood bowl was packed with various Hokkaido seafood such as amberjack, salmon, Okhotsk Atka mackerel, shirako, salmon roe, crab meat, squid, octopus, scallop, and button shrimp. The freshness of the seafood was outstanding. The Shiraoi beef tataki was also delicious. The meal came with miso soup, pickles, and ginger. Overall, a great dining experience with high-quality seafood.

I only had about 30 minutes, but I wanted to eat something so I went in. We arrived before 4:00, so I think we were the first customers? The fresh rock oysters were delicious, as well as the Genghis Khan Zangi, salted squid, and potato butter. They gave us a white Black Thunder chocolate bar when we left.

I revisited the restaurant with the person who brought me here before. It was a pre-event gathering for the main event. The first time I came, I was puzzled when I heard about the "takikomi" dish, but it turned out to be incredibly delicious. So, this time, I requested it myself. It's great that they are open from noon till night. We started with a toast with Sapporo Classic beer, and enjoyed fresh oysters, raw hokke fish, and oysters cooked in a special sauce. It was all so good. The "takikomi" dish was more like a gratin, I think. We also ordered some fresh corn to eat raw. I can't remember the name... sorry. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely go back again.

Visited a highly recommended seafood restaurant near Sapporo Station for a dinner meeting. The main store is always fully booked due to its popularity. The sashimi and oysters were fresh and delicious. Great value for money. The Genghis Khan Zangi and asparagus were also of high quality. Located right below Grace Lee Sapporo, this will be my go-to place for dinner from now on!

"If you want to experience a lot of Hokkaido flavors, this is the place to go! When making a reservation, it was necessary to order the "Assorted Sashimi (2000 yen per person) x number of people"! We were a group of 5, so we ordered a 10,000 yen sashimi platter. I was expecting something amazing, but what arrived was... this? While the fish may be high quality, the slices were thin and there wasn't much to eat. The freshness was also questionable... It was a bit disappointing and we ended up leaving early. However, they offer a wide variety of dishes that allow you to taste Hokkaido such as Genghis Khan, Ezo deer, and asparagus. So, if you're looking to have a Hokkaido food festival, this place is recommended!"

This is the perfect place to take friends from outside the area and enjoy some delicious food. The restaurant has limited seating, but sitting at the counter and having a drink is a great experience. Among the various dishes we tried, the grilled oysters were exceptional and unlike anything I've had before. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The food was delicious but the cost performance was a bit off. It felt like it was geared towards tourists. I tried the specialty dish of miso-marinated oysters and it was delicious! I had heard about hokke sashimi being a must-try in Hokkaido, and while it had a slightly unique aftertaste, it was still tasty. The other menu items were not particularly unusual and could probably be found elsewhere.

I was looking for a restaurant where I could have a meal on New Year's Day after returning home for the year-end, but I had a hard time finding one and finally ended up at this restaurant. Since I didn't make a reservation, there was a one-hour time limit, but the food was very reasonably priced and delicious. It felt like the beginning of a journey to enjoy Hokkaido gourmet food, all made with Hokkaido ingredients. - Shiraoi beef tataki - Kasube zangi (fried chicken) - Zuwai crab miso - Octopus tempura fish cake - Classic beer - Sake Everything was delicious.

Around 12:45, I entered the restaurant and initially thought the people at the table were customers, but they turned out to be staff having a meeting. They continued their meeting even though there were customers present. That kind of thing should be done after closing time. It took quite a while from ordering to receiving the food. Moreover, the staff in the kitchen were working with chin masks on while talking. While it's true that there are no restrictions at the end of the year, the pandemic is not over yet. Seeing that, I lost my appetite when they brought the seafood bowl. The last dining out of 2022 was a mistake!

Every time on the first night in Sapporo, the only schedule that can be moved early is to go to a popular local restaurant called Hamakko. Unfortunately, the main store was fully booked, but another branch in the Yomiuri Hokkaido Building had seats available at the counter. The atmosphere was filled with locals, and I ordered the recommended dishes such as oysters and sashimi. I also tried their specialty, oyster tango. For the main dishes, my companion ordered a sea urchin bowl (market price) and another person ordered scallop butter rice. I chose the raw chirashi with salmon roe and smelt, which was a rare opportunity to try. Everything I ate was delicious and I could understand why the locals love this place.

Izakaya located near Sapporo Station. Ordered: - Assorted sashimi - Scallop butter grilled - Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) - Gold Rush (raw salmon) - Salmon roe onigiri. Various Hokkaido gourmet dishes can be enjoyed here. The raw corn was not as sweet as boiled corn, but still good. The restaurant is small and was full before 7 pm, so customers without reservations were turned away.

During the busy time around 7 pm, there was a private room available. They have a system where you can pre-order a sashimi platter. We enjoyed a classic toast with it. The sashimi came with wasabi and mountain wasabi, perfectly matched to the fish. We also had oysters and boiled asparagus. The taste was great, making it a good place to take out-of-town guests. The restroom is located outside the restaurant, but the building is nice so it's not a problem. Thank you for the meal.

I came aiming for the seafood bowl limited to lunch from 11:30 to 13:00 on weekdays. The store opens at 11:00, so I arrived around 11:10. I found out that it was limited to 11:30 when I arrived at the store. I decided to try my luck and went inside to confirm, and they easily accommodated me. I ordered the seafood bowl for 1,800 yen, but it was discounted to 1,000 yen. It took a bit of time as they were preparing it. The bowl included salmon roe, flying fish roe, sweet shrimp, yellowtail, octopus, soy sauce marinated fish, salmon, and seared mackerel. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The vinegared rice was soft and slightly sweet, and the miso soup with dried seaweed was tasty. They offered two types of soy sauce for dipping, but I wished there were more variety in the types of fish served, especially for the price of 1,800 yen. (April 2022)

Seafood bowl for 1000 yen is a great deal, especially during weekdays. I found out about this lunch special from a review by someone I follow, so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant was located under the Hokkai Building, which I didn't know before. The place is not very spacious, but it has a welcoming atmosphere. It seems like the main focus is on izakaya-style dining in the evenings. Today's sashimi included white fish, which I think was hokke. They prepare the dish after you order, and it looks very appealing. The rice bowl was just the right size for lunch, and it was seasoned with vinegar. They served a special soy sauce with wasabi, which was delicious. The soy sauce had some kind of grains in it, maybe rice malt? I ended up eating everything with just the soy sauce. The freshness of the sashimi was decent for the price of 1000 yen. However, at the original price of 1800 yen, I think it might be a bit challenging to attract tourists due to the location, and locals might prefer other lunch options. But I'm glad I could enjoy a variety of seafood during this special offer period. Thank you for the meal!

It was like a New Year's party or a farewell party, with a crazy atmosphere. We visited this place with a small group while we still could. We reserved a private room, which was nice. I had a lot of draft beer and enjoyed Three Peaks whiskey on the rocks, which I haven't had in a while. They mostly serve sweet potato shochu with water, but I prefer Three Peaks on the rocks! The sashimi platter was amazing! However, I didn't want to eat everything on it, and there was too much. I usually don't order platters like that. We ordered a few other dishes, but I didn't eat much of them, and I don't have any photos to remember them. The cheese was the same processed cheese as in the main store. It may be rare these days, but it was actually tasty. For Genghis Khan, you have to have bean sprouts! So good! When making a reservation, ordering the sashimi platter is a must, which is a strange and pushy system. In other words, if you don't want sashimi, don't come, which shows their confidence... but it's a bit too pushy. Before talking about whether the food was delicious or not, isn't pushing customers to order a bit much for a business? It's a shame because the food was actually delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I had a lot of fun at this new restaurant (laughs). I tried the kimchi hot pot and it was delicious. However, I found it strange that the meal ended with ramen instead of rice, which I thought would be better. The dessert was a secret ice cream! The staff were also entertaining.

It was a restaurant in front of Sapporo Station where you can enjoy Hokkaido ingredients and dishes. I made a reservation to visit. The interior of the restaurant is new, clean, and they have taken thorough measures against COVID-19. It is highly recommended by locals. The assorted sashimi platter includes sea urchin, fatty tuna, fresh octopus, squid sashimi, large shrimp, scallops, and saffron cod, which is an amazing selection. Hokkaido's specialty wasabi goes well with it. Hokkaido specialties such as scallops, potatoes, saffron cod, and corn allow you to fully experience Hokkaido. The highlight of the meal is the creamy "kaki dengaku" dish, which is a must-try! Everything is perfect and delicious, and the prices are affordable. Excellent cost performance.

I went out tonight with an old friend after a long time and decided to use a reservation through Tabelog. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, we found out that the reservation included a sashimi platter set, which was not clear when booking online. The sashimi platter was priced at ¥5000 excluding tax, and although it included 2 sweet shrimp, the freshness was not impressive. The other fish slices were small and thin, making it difficult to fully enjoy the taste of the fish. Additionally, the origin of the scallops served was unclear, and there was a lack of attention to detail in presentation. The Genghis Khan dish was expected to be seasoned, but it turned out to be raw meat due to a change in suppliers. It was disappointing as I was looking forward to trying the Genghis Khan in Haboro. Furthermore, although the restaurant was supposed to accept PayPay with cashback, they were not set up for it and seemed uninterested in providing the service. There were several misunderstandings and disappointments during the visit.

After a long time, on the first night in Sapporo. I wanted to eat delicious seafood. I found a high-rated restaurant near Sapporo Station. Even on the same day, I managed to get a table. The counter had people dining alone, and the tables and private rooms were bustling with customers. First, I ordered a sashimi platter. It was great that you could order just one serving. When it arrived, there was my favorite hokke sashimi. The freshness was evident. The clams had a crunchy texture and were delicious. The large button shrimp made me feel like I had arrived in Hokkaido. I was very satisfied. The grilled oysters with miso were also delicious. I think they would go well with sake, shochu, or wine. Some people might also order rice. The sautéed Ezo venison was also delicious. I felt like I was able to fully enjoy Hokkaido at this restaurant. They had a variety of sake, but I was too full to try any, so I had to pass on it that day. I imagined it would have been nice to come with a few people, try various dishes, and enjoy different types of sake. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied to have found a good place after a long time. Thank you for the meal.

【Points】- This is a hidden gem izakaya located on the B1 floor of the Yomiuri Hokkaido Building! - You can enjoy Hokkaido gourmet dishes, especially seafood, at a reasonable price here.【Content】I went drinking with a colleague at the counter! We had a variety of dishes and drinks, but the photos here are just the recommended dishes from this restaurant. - Kaki no Tadaku (Grilled oysters), 580 yen (excluding tax) As the title suggests, this was my first time trying grilled oysters! The creamy texture of the plump oysters paired perfectly with the miso seasoning, making it delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I wanted to eat Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) and seafood, so I went to Hamakko. When I contacted the main store, they said it was full and guided me to their new branch. I hesitated to cancel after reading reviews, but the scallop butter rice was really delicious (forgot to take a photo), so my companion and I were glad we didn't cancel as we ate. The staff were recommending ramen shops to customers, debating among themselves which one was better, and it felt quite homely and nice. The card payment machine seemed old and difficult to use, so cash is recommended.
