I heard that there is a chicken curry with a strong spice flavor but a gentle taste at the curry specialty shop Bonabona in Nishi-ohashi. They offer tender chicken wing tip curry, dry curry, and omurice. The shop is located slightly north of Nishi-ohashi Station. It is located on a corner and has a cafe-like exterior. The interior is cozy and homey, with only 7 counter seats. Each seat is separated by partitions and hand sanitizer is also provided. The kind and elegant lady greets you with a smile and handles everything from cooking to customer service to takeout by herself, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As it was before 12 p.m. on a holiday, there were only a few customers already inside. Due to the limited seating, there may be a line on weekdays. Lunch is available on weekdays and Saturdays and holidays (closed on Sundays) from 11:00 to 15:00 (weekdays until 16:00) (Please check with the store for the latest information on business format and hours).

"A soup made by mixing about 20 types of spices, Awajishima onions, and ripe tomatoes. We simmered the Wakayama Jidori chicken wing tips just right."
Wow, it smells so good! Looks delicious! The turmeric rice with plenty of curry and two chicken wing tips as the main feature. When I tasted the curry... Oh, it's spicier than it looks! The spicy and vibrant spices give off a strong fragrance, surprising with a solid kick and spiciness. There are about 20 types of spices blended without any one spice standing out, creating a well-balanced combination of various spices, making it spicy but addictive. The base is Awajishima onions and ripe tomatoes. When you eat it, the sweetness and fruity taste of the vegetables spread. Although you can't see the shape, the rough texture of the vegetables is impressive. The various spice aromas add to the mature and spicy curry... this unique sharpness is addictive! It has a mild and healthy finish with a deep umami and punch but a restrained spice. The combination of the deep umami and punch of the vegetables and the mild spiciness is impressive. By the way, the dry curry seems to be even spicier and punchier than the chicken curry. The two chicken wing tips are tenderly simmered and the meat easily comes off the bone with just a spoon and fork. The meat is plump and delicious! When you mix the tender chicken with the spicy and stimulating curry, it's irresistibly delicious! The rice is turmeric rice made from Japanese rice. It's a bit soft but fluffy and easy to eat, which goes well with the spicy curry. There is a raw onion on the plate, and on the table, there are sweet pickles and jalapeños ready. The sweet and sour pickles reset the spiciness of the curry. The pickled jalapeños are spicy, but the refreshing spiciness and acidity are a good change from the spicy curry. When you finish eating, the lady brings a mini mango jelly. The tropical sweetness soothes the spicy mouth. You can pay with PayPay or au PAY, the service is speedy, the lady's customer service is gentle, so it's no wonder that there are many regular customers. The curry, which has a unique blend of many spices and tender chicken, and the cozy customer service make it a place where you can feel energized even if it's your first visit. Thank you for the meal!
