I visited the restaurant "Ikeno" for the first time! A new bento shop opened in Honbetsu because Stella Mart closed down, leaving the town without a catering shop. The shop is run by Mr. Ikeda, who also operates "Minamoto Sushi". Feeling a sense of crisis due to the lack of a catering shop in the town, he decided to open a new shop. I received a flyer in advance, so I immediately ordered a bento. During the grand opening sale from June 1st to 5th, the price was reduced from the regular 750 yen to 500 yen tax included. I ordered the Hamburg, Zangi, Ginger Pork, Noriben DX, and Makunouchi bento by phone and went to pick it up. They also offer delivery, but I'm not sure how many items are required for delivery. The pick-up location is at the back entrance of Stella Mart. When I arrived, there was already one customer waiting. The pick-up process was quick and easy. The contents of the bento were lavish and delicious, with grilled fish, shrimp fry, shumai, meatballs, pickles, salad, and more. Everything was well-seasoned and tasty, showing the skills of a sushi restaurant. However, I felt that it would be better if there was a small red umeboshi on the rice in the bento. Overall, the bento was great, but I hope they offer a more affordable option around 600 yen to make it easier to order regularly. I am happy that a new shop has opened in the town. I ordered boxed lunches for participants of a two-day seminar. It seems that there are certain time slots when delivery is not possible in the suburban areas of Honbetsu Town, but they are flexible in accommodating side dishes and other requests. Ordering through LINE is convenient for providing delivery addresses, so it might be a good option for those who wish to have their meals delivered.
