After enjoying a delicious pizza in the cold weather, I stopped by a cake shop called "clair" located in a residential area. The shop also has a cafe space where you can enjoy cakes, pastries, parfaits, and drinks for takeout. I purchased a "Mont Blanc @485" and another cake whose name I can't remember. They were packed in a box with a cooling pack for me to take home and enjoy after dinner. The Mont Blanc had a cookie base and a delicious chestnut cream, while the other cake had a soft mochi texture with matcha cream, sweetened red beans, and other beans inside. Both were really tasty, and I found the prices to be quite reasonable. I might go back to buy more in the future. Overall, it was a great experience.

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, especially for this designated rare disease by the government. There is still no cure for my rare disease. Treatment involves receiving "blood products" for five consecutive days, which temporarily improves symptoms. Last year, I was hospitalized five times for treatment related to my rare disease. I was admitted for the second time this year on April 4th and discharged 23 days later. I couldn't interact with likes or comments during my hospital stay, but I plan to catch up on those soon. For a while, I will mainly focus on posting reviews of past visits that have not been reviewed yet. New visits will be limited based on my health condition. "Cafe Cler" is a local pastry shop that opened in May 2015. I visited with my usual companion after lunch. The shop is located in the Hakkai area of Nishi Ward, Sapporo, near Nijuyonken and Teine Street, right next to "Handmade Soba Mondo." Please check on Tabelog for the exact location. I visited around 2:30 pm on a weekend, and there were no other customers before or after us.
They offer only one type of soft serve ice cream. The price for adults is 375 yen, while high school students and below pay 340 yen. We ordered the soft serve ice cream for 375 yen each. The ice cream had a nostalgic and gentle milk flavor, with a smooth texture and good mouthfeel. The soft serve machine is a rare "Mitsubishi Heavy Industries" model, specifically from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioning Systems. It is an energy-efficient machine with a single nozzle. The cone used is a Nissei "Flare Top Cone," a nostalgic and crispy type of cone.
The soft serve ice cream is a nostalgic treat with a milk flavor. The pricing is family-friendly, with a lower price for children. The most unique aspect is the soft serve machine, a "Mitsubishi Heavy Industries" model, which I saw for the first time in Sapporo. It is known for its energy efficiency. I visited a certain Saturday. It was just before 3:00 p.m. I found this restaurant while researching on Google Maps, and it was also featured on Tabelog. There is a pizza place nearby. There are parking spaces for 2 cars in front of the store. Other parking spaces belong to places other than clair, so be careful. The only other customers were an elderly couple eating in. There are 2 tables for eat-in customers. Due to the effects of COVID-19, it seemed that only up to 2 take-out customers were allowed inside. The showcase is small, making it a compact store.
- Choux Cream 173 yen (Recommended by clair. A choux pastry topped with crispy sesame croquant. The choux pastry is particularly crispy on top. The black sesame gives it a fragrant aroma that spreads in your mouth. The cream is smooth, creamy, not too sweet, and has a light texture with a hint of richness. It also has a hint of vanilla beans. This was one of the best choux creams I've had in a while.
- Roll Clair (cut) 324 yen (Chef's recommendation! A simple roll made with castella-style sponge and cream filling. The sponge has a fluffy texture with a good balance of moistness. The sponge itself is not too sweet. The cream has a strong milky flavor, and the custard cream adds depth to the taste.
- Clair's Apple Pie 410 yen (A pie with almond cream, plenty of apples, baked on a hard brisee crust. It looks more like a tart than a pie. The apples on top retain their flavor while having a hint of liquor, which I personally found to be a good balance. Despite its appearance, it's not overly sweet, and I finished it quickly.
I randomly chose this place on the day of my visit, and it didn't seem very busy, so my expectations weren't high. However, all three items turned out to be good, and I found another great restaurant. Thank you for the meal. Thank you for reading today as well.

My son loves chocolate cake, and the one he likes here has banana in it instead of strawberry, which he loves. There is also Gâteau au Chocolat that I like, Cheesecake that my son likes, and Tart that my husband likes. At Clérel, I can buy cakes that everyone in my family loves. This is the closest cake shop from my home. They sometimes surprise us with limited edition cakes. When they announce it on Instagram, I rush to visit. This time it was a Sakura Mont Blanc. It had a tart base with sugar, matcha sponge, griotte cherries, whipped cream, and a cream with sakura leaves. It was really good! I wish it could be a spring staple. The eat-in service is currently closed, but I would love to try it with Japanese tea. The photo is a bit messy because I removed the wrapping, but it looked really cute.

I get excited! There are about 10 cute cakes, macarons, etc. arranged on a plate, making it difficult to decide where to start. Each one brings out the flavor of the ingredients and is delicious. My favorites are the Mont Blanc with a strong chestnut flavor but not too sweet, the rich matcha cake, the Catalana with a hint of yuzu, the not too heavy chocolate cake, and the pleasantly acidic orange jelly. Hmm, almost all of them were my favorites. The cost performance is also good.

This is a review of a cafe near the Miyanozawa area. I walked here for a nice walk! The sun is starting to come out and it's getting warm~♫ But the ground is crunchy and difficult to walk on. It's not on the main street, so it's not very noticeable. Inside, there's a small showcase with delicious-looking cakes. I ordered my favorite strawberry shortcake and coffee! The coffee arrived in about 10 minutes. I was happy to see it! The taste is deep with a hint of bitterness that goes well with the cake. One weekend in Nishi-ku, Hassamu, I stumbled upon a cake shop with a cozy eat-in space before reaching my intended restaurant. The shop had a small parking lot for two cars, and inside, there were a few tables and a showcase displaying unique and delicious cakes. I couldn't resist and ordered a cake set with a soft and creamy "strawberry mochi cake" and a "hot coffee" along with a "soft serve ice cream". The soft serve had a creamy texture with a mild sweetness and a hint of milk flavor. The strawberry mochi cake was incredibly soft and delicate, filled with strawberry, red bean paste, strawberry cream, and custard cream. The coffee was freshly brewed and generously poured into the cup. Overall, it was a lucky find with delicious desserts and coffee.
