I visited Yatsuya near the fishing port in Iwanai-cho, Hokkaido. I went around noon and had to wait a bit before being seated. The interior of the restaurant was stylish and well-maintained, and the staff were polite. I tried the popular burnt salt ramen and a mini chashu bowl. The noodles were medium-thick and curly, with a fragrant yet refreshing soup that was easy to finish. The mini chashu bowl had sweet, rolled chashu slices. It was delicious. I'll try various ramen in Hokkaido as well.

Limited time Stamina Salt Hormone Ramen‼️ It was limited to 5 servings during lunch, so I went right at 11:00 when they opened. It was delicious. I wanted to try the miso flavor too. My companion said it was a bit salty, but still delicious. ✌️ They have a bald discount here❗️

I visited for lunch while working in Iwanai Town. This time, I ordered the "Charred Garlic Miso Ramen" and the "Mini Chashu Don". The miso ramen soup here is delicious! It's been a while since I've had such a great meal. The noodles and soup go well together! The chashu don is also delicious! The mini size is just right. I would like to come back to eat here again. Thank you for the meal! 🍜

During a drive, I stumbled upon a ramen restaurant called "Yatsuya." It seemed popular, with a constant flow of customers. I decided to try their most popular dish, the burnt garlic miso ramen, to warm up on this cold day. The toppings included bean sprouts, seasoned bamboo shoots, shredded wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, thick-sliced pork chashu, green onions, and a half-boiled egg. The noodles were medium-thick and slightly firm, while the soup was rich and flavorful yet light. The punch of the black burnt garlic oil was perfect for the chilly seaside town. Another satisfying meal.

On September 16, 2022 (Thursday), I had miso ramen with a side of small rice. When the dish was served, there was no steam, but when I lifted the noodles, steam rose up. The hot dish was covered with an oil film lid. The miso soup was on the sweeter side with a spicy kick similar to a chili pepper. There was a little bit of back fat in the soup. The noodles were slightly curly and had a nice chewy texture. The ramen comes with half a serving of noodles by default. There are not many ramen shops in Iwanai Town, so I hope this one does well. Thank you for the meal! (^_^)

On October 30, 2021, I went to Yotsuya in Yoichi for some bread activity, and then visited Ramen Yatsuya in Iwanai Town, Iwanai District after early voting. This restaurant opened in October 2021. I ordered the burnt garlic miso ramen with extra chashu, seasoned egg, and green onions as toppings. The default comes with half a flavored egg. There is also chili oil with burnt garlic in it. However, I personally added more grated garlic from the tabletop. The miso soup is slightly sweet, the chashu has a perfect seasoning and tenderness that makes you want beer, and the noodles are slightly firm. The mini chashu bowl was delicious. I often go to five ramen shops in Iwanai Town and Kyowa Town, but I think I will add this one to my rotation. There is no parking lot, but there is a parking lot at a nearby Michi-no-Eki. The owner is in the kitchen, and the floor is probably made up of dining and kitchen areas. The interior is clean, but I feel like the counter height is just a little low (maybe because I have a tall sitting height?). I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the meal.

Visited "Ramen Yatsuya" in Iwanai Town, which opened a month ago in October 2021. There is no parking lot, but you can manage to find parking nearby. The menu offers three flavors (miso, soy sauce, salt) with variations like stamina or burnt (ma-yu), and I decided to order the burnt salt ramen after a recommendation from the female staff. While waiting, I noticed a student discount for free extra noodles or a noodle refill with a student ID, which is not uncommon. However, what surprised me was the "Bald Manager Support Campaign" where bald customers can get 100 yen off by declaring, "I am bald!" at the cashier. The soup was a rich pork bone broth with a hint of back fat and ma-yu, which was delicious as usual. I tried adding grated garlic from the table, but it didn't quite match the burnt salt flavor, so I enjoyed it as is. The saltiness was just right for me, and the noodles had a nice firm texture. The toppings included chashu, menma, half-boiled seasoned egg, bean sprouts, onions, and green onions. Overall, I was impressed by the taste and can see this place becoming popular among locals in Iwanai. Personally, I didn't have the courage to claim the bald discount, but I know a few people who could, so I encourage someone to take the first step and declare it next time!
