There are times when you suddenly crave Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) and this was one of those times for me. Despite my usual indecisiveness, I miraculously made a decision before wandering around. I ordered a smokeless roaster, grape soda, kimchi, beef sagari, and two servings of Genghis Khan, along with kimchi and a large rice. The Genghis Khan was marinated in sauce, unlike other meats, but that was fine with me as my main goal was to eat Genghis Khan. The meat was thick-cut lamb loin marinated in sauce, similar to what you see in supermarkets, but it had a different taste, more like a yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) place. The sagari had less fat but was tender, just be careful not to overcook it. The Genghis Khan had a mild taste due to the marination, making it more refined and tender. It was evident that the meat was of good quality from a local butcher. It can be challenging to cook meat perfectly at a yakiniku place as it depends on your grilling skills. The restaurant had a strong fire, making it easy to grill without flipping the meat multiple times. However, be cautious not to overcook it. I initially overcooked it a bit, but then got the hang of it. The large rice portion was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I came here because I wanted to eat Genghis Khan. It wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but it was delicious in its own way! It's completely different from eating Genghis Khan at home. The meat was thick and juicy. Definitely worth trying. As a fan of offal, I was very satisfied with the salted guts. If you enjoy drinking alcohol, I'm sure it would be even more delicious.
