I also bought Aburaage for 324 yen, but before I found the fried tofu from the tofu shop in Otokocho, it was my favorite that I used to buy every time I visited Honbetsu. I also bought Black Soybean Yokan for 280 yen, made by Tokachi Ganko Farm. It has a smooth texture like water yokan, and you can't really tell that the skin of the black soybeans is used. The chestnuts are just for decoration, but they caught my eye. The sweetness is just right for yokan, and it seems good for a tired body (laughs). It's a good option for souvenirs or personal use. "I visited the Yoritomo's House gift shop. I didn't know such a facility existed, and having a shop there was quite convenient. There were a few cars parked outside, so I thought there were customers, but it seems they were all staff cars. If that's the case, they should park a bit further away. The female staff didn't show any signs of having customers when I arrived. I bought some favorite beans to write this review. These beans are called Kurakake beans and they are boiled and eaten. They taste like edamame but are even better for us. We both love these beans as they make a perfect snack with beer."

There are various local specialty products here, and among them, I found a product that caught my eye: "Honbetsu Black Soybean Cider" for 270 yen. I haven't tried this before, so I decided to buy it. The taste of black beans is distinct in this drink. It is quite sweet overall, with a mild carbonation. The color of this drink definitely leaves an impression. Thank you for the meal!
