I had been curious about a restaurant that I often saw on Instagram, and my friend suggested we go, so we finally got to visit it (=´∀`)人(´∀`=). We ordered the main dish, shrimp shabu shabu, which is the specialty at Uminabetei! First, they made a broth using the shrimp heads and added vegetables to let it simmer. Once it reached the right temperature, we added the raw shrimp for shabu shabu. I prefer to cook mine thoroughly, so I made sure to do that! The risotto at the end was absolutely delicious!

It was the perfect restaurant for shrimp lovers! The shrimp yukhoe was delicious. I indulged in both noodles and zosui for the finale. Since it was my friend's birthday, they brought out a birthday plate, which made her very happy! I would love to go back again if I get the chance!

I went to try the shrimp and oyster hot pot that I had been curious about on social media. The soup was incredibly delicious, and I realized I could eat as many shrimp as I wanted. Of course, the cheese risotto at the end was exquisite. I also had shrimp yukke and a shrimp tasting. Each had a different texture and sweetness, making it all very tasty.

The shrimp was the most delicious thing! The risotto at the end was also fantastic, infused with shrimp essence! The staff's service was excellent! The place was clean and perfect for a date or a meal with friends! The presentation is impressive, so you can't go wrong here.

I visited with four female friends. We went there specifically for the shrimp and oyster hot pot. It was incredibly delicious! The broth was rich, and it was very satisfying to eat. The staff was cheerful and the atmosphere was great. The sashimi was also delicious. The beer served was Sapporo.

I visited this restaurant because it was trending on social media. It seems to be famous for its seafood hot pot, and when I arrived, it was fully packed. The restaurant is small, with a counter and a couple of tables, and I made a reservation in advance. As others have mentioned, the service from the staff was not very good. It took quite a while for my drink to arrive, and when I ordered tea, they brought me something completely different (a sauce not listed on the menu for use in the restaurant). When I pointed it out, they apologized, but I was worried about what might have happened if it had been something like oil. There were also mistakes with my order, and I had to wait over 30 minutes for the seafood hot pot to be served after placing my order. Considering the taste and the price, it didn't quite meet my expectations. I would be interested in returning if the prices were lower or if the quality improved.

I made a reservation online for the signature "Rich Ebi Kaki Shabu Shabu Course". For the finale, you can choose between noodles and porridge, and I recommend the porridge. Overall, the flavors were good, the service speed wasn't an issue, and the cost performance was excellent, allowing me to enjoy my meal. The staff member was wearing a black shirt on top, but casual joggers and sneakers on the bottom, which gave a laid-back impression. I'm not sure if that was their uniform, but considering the store's atmosphere and cleanliness, I felt it was a bit of a waste. The music playing in the store was J-POP.

I learned about this place on TikTok, and I’ve been wanting to go for so long... I finally got to visit! The taste was great, and the amount of shrimp and the flavor were incredibly delicious. I was very satisfied with my experience! The highlight, especially, was the final dish—either the ramen or the risotto, which was exceptional. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend it!

I've been curious about Uminabitei for a while, so I ordered the shrimp hot pot. The dish came with a variety of ingredients: napa cabbage, shimeji mushrooms, and lots of shrimp! After adding the shrimp heads to the pot, I waited for the broth to simmer. While waiting, I quickly cooked the shrimp, which you can eat raw if you like! It was incredibly delicious! Personally, I think raw shrimp is the best! I also bit into the heads to savor the broth. I know this might be a matter of taste, though, haha. Finally, I finished with a cheesy risotto, feeling completely satisfied! I’ll definitely come back!

I added all the heads that were served to me, and true to its name, it was rich and absolutely delightful for shrimp lovers. The finishing risotto was, of course, delicious. I also tried the shrimp yukhoe, which was a real treat for shrimp enthusiasts. The grilled Spanish mackerel served as an appetizer was also tasty, highlighting the overall high quality of the dishes.

I ordered shrimp and oysters shabu-shabu, and this photo shows a serving for two. We went with three people, and it was more than enough. The broth is truly delicious; I ended up drinking several cups of it. The ramen and rice porridge at the end are so tasty that I could have both!

It’s time for our bi-monthly delicious food gathering, and this time we went to a place that has recently been featured in the media. The restaurant was packed, and their specialty is seafood shabu-shabu. Is it really popular? Really? It seems so. The staff? They seemed inexperienced, honestly. As for the taste? Everything was just pre-seasoned and thawed. The only ones working were three part-time guys just defrosting everything, but I have to say they were working hard (*´∀`)♪. When it came time to pay, they mixed up our bill with the table next to us, so we ended up paying extra. But that’s fine; overall, I just feel like there’s something off about this place. It's just not right ( ; _ ; ).

I heard about this place on Instagram and decided to visit. I felt like I had eaten a year's worth of shrimp! I chose the regular shrimp hot pot. The shrimp miso was thin in texture but had a nice sweetness, and I enjoyed it a lot. Since the heads release a great broth, I went for the risotto as the finishing touch instead of ramen. It was quite rich. I added cheese as a topping, but it was delicious even without it! Black pepper complemented the dish very well. I also got to enjoy some sake tastings. The sushi was wrapped in Korean seaweed, which was a refreshing twist. For dessert, I could choose from three options like yuzu and chocolate vanilla. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

In response to a request from a shrimp-loving child, I searched for a place that focuses solely on shrimp! They use shrimp heads to make a flavorful broth, and then add vegetables. The shrimp served here can be enjoyed as sashimi or used for shabu-shabu, and they are so fresh and delicious that you can eat them without worrying about any fishy taste. As the broth develops its flavor, the napa cabbage becomes incredibly delicious as well; the combination of the shrimp's umami and the sweetness of the cabbage brings pure happiness. The bill can add up, but the satisfaction is well worth the price. This time, I treated myself to a little luxury by using some points I won from Tabelog, amounting to 10,000 points!

I didn't drink any alcohol and ordered tea instead. We enjoyed a shrimp and oyster shabu-shabu hot pot! For the finale, we could choose between ramen and rice porridge, and I went with ramen! The shrimp was large and had a nice, firm texture, while the oysters were milky and incredibly delicious! We also ordered a few side dishes, including shrimp sashimi and octopus wasabi. The shrimp was just too tasty, and I was very satisfied! For three of us, we had three servings of the hot pot and about three side dishes, which came to about 6,100 yen per person!

I honestly think it might be a case of false advertising with the photos... The place really feels like just a regular izakaya, the tables are too close together, and the shrimp wasn't cleaned properly at all. Then, at the end, they made the porridge without adjusting the seasoning and just used the strong broth as it was, which was also questionable, haha. The thing that bothered me the most was the staff's way of speaking. I thought they really need to have a meeting about proper communication. Overall, it was just disappointing, so I probably won't be coming back for a second visit.

We visited the restaurant with a family of five and ordered a variety of dishes: a sashimi platter with five types, a seafood skewer platter, crab miso gratin, shrimp and oyster shabu-shabu, followed by risotto, and then a clam and scallop butter pot, which led to pasta. The sashimi platter arrived within three minutes of ordering, but it seemed like it had been prepared beforehand, so I might not order that again. The seafood skewer platter was mostly enjoyed by the kids, and they particularly liked the squid skewer. The crab miso gratin didn’t seem to have much miso flavor, which was disappointing. Finally, we tried the restaurant's famous rich shrimp and oyster shabu-shabu. True to its reputation, the shrimp was rich and incredibly plump; when we shabu-shabu’d it to a medium-rare, it was sweet and delicious. The clam and scallop butter dish had a nice balance of sweetness from the cabbage and the richness of the butter, which made it very tasty. Personally, I preferred the shrimp shabu-shabu, while the kids seemed to like the clam butter more. Since there were five of us, we were able to enjoy both types of hot pots; if we had gone with just two people, we would have had to choose only one. It was great to experience both options!

I had seen this restaurant in a friend's Instagram story but hadn’t visited until now. It was delicious, filled with plenty of shrimp and oysters, and the broth had a rich flavor from the shrimp heads. The hot pot was really tasty!
