◆◆◆◆◆◆【Second Post】◆◆◆◆◆◆【June 2013】I came to enjoy some soft serve ice cream this time. I chose the "Topping Soft Serve" and opted for red bean as the topping. I also took out the "Black & White Milk Crepe" which I enjoyed last time.
■ Topping Soft Serve - Red Bean
The Topping Soft Serve comes in four varieties: chocolate sauce, strawberry jam, blueberry jam, and red bean. I chose the red bean topping. The soft serve was very smooth and slightly sweet, with a nice texture. On top, there was mildly sweet red bean. Price: 300 yen.
■ Black & White Milk Crepe
As mentioned in the previous review, the combination of soft serve and red bean is delightful. The Black & White Milk Crepe remains consistently delicious. Price: 300 yen.
◆◆◆◆◆◆【First Post】◆◆◆◆◆◆The Black & White Milk Crepe is also available at the AKB48 cafe in Hakata! The crepe soft serve is also fantastic!【July 2012】Crepe Kobo is a shop specializing in crepes and milk crepes. They also sell soft serve ice cream and baked goods. The popular "Black & White Milk Crepe" is even sold at the AKB48 cafe in Hakata. The shop ships directly from their store in frozen form. Located in Nishino, Sapporo, near the rear parking lot of Seiyu Nishimachi store along a residential street not frequented unless visiting this shop specifically. For detailed location information, please check on Tabelog. The shop is a standalone house with a factory. The store is on the second floor, accessible by an external staircase. There is also a small open deck on the ground floor facing the road. During summer, you can enjoy your purchase there. The second-floor store has table seating for dining in. It was a little past 12:30 pm on a holiday, with no customers before me and a few after. I was served promptly, lucky me! On the left side of the shop, there are some baked goods, including cute bear-shaped madeleines. I took one home. The soft serve comes with three types of handles: crepe, waffle cone, and regular cone. Although there is a regular cone available, the crepe handle is unique. I chose to dine in. There was water available at the counter, so I also had a glass of water. I also took out the popular Black & White Milk Crepe. The takeaway box was cute.
■ Black & White Milk Crepe
No preservatives or synthetic coloring are used. The cocoa crepe is filled with white cream. The white cream contains mascarpone cheese from Betsukai, Hokkaido, giving the milk crepe a unique texture that melts in your mouth. It is incredibly delicious! Winner of the 2006 Dessert of the Year in the chocolate cake category. Price: 350 yen. A dessert you would want to have over and over again.
■ Soft Serve
Available in vanilla flavor with handles in crepe, waffle cone, and cone. It is rare to have a crepe handle for soft serve. The soft serve is very smooth and slightly sweet, with a good pairing with the crepe. There are cornflakes at the bottom. Price: 300 yen. A delicious collaboration of crepe and soft serve.
■ Bear Madeleine
Adorable madeleine that almost feels too cute to eat. Price: 180 yen. The taste of the crepe is exceptional. The level of taste is clearly different from the crepe shops commonly found in food courts. While the AKB48 cafe in Hakata sells famous sweets from all over Japan, the Black & White Milk Crepe is a taste worthy of representing Hokkaido. It was delicious, thank you for the treat.
