There's a sushi restaurant called Sanpiazza that has been around for a long time. I hadn't been to the basement before, but the ramen shop across the street was crowded and I wanted to eat quickly. When I went in, a female staff member led me to a corner in the back where there were only two other customers. I wondered why she seated me in such an isolated spot. The taste was like traditional conveyor belt sushi, nothing special but cheap.

I wanted to eat sushi so I visited this place. I have been eating at places like Sushiro recently, but Sushiro is no longer 100 yen sushi, so this place is actually cheaper. The quality of the ingredients is decent for the price. I tried the Edomae sushi series "teyande" and it was surprisingly delicious, especially with the soy sauce provided. It's hard to find this quality at this price range elsewhere. They also have seafood bowls at the same price range, but I feel like this place is better. I haven't tried the other place yet, but I think this one is more than enough. Of course, it can't beat Triton, but it's worth the price. Thank you for the meal!

[平禄寿司 Sapporo Sanpiaza Branch] It's been a while since I visited the Sapporo Sanpiaza branch of Heiroku Sushi. They currently have a limited-time offer called "Spring Sun Tour", and my highlight of the day was the tuna assortment, which I love so much. The tuna assortment includes negitoro, bincho maguro akami, maguro akami, maguro chu-toro, and maguro o-toro for ¥759. It's a set that tuna lovers like me can't resist. Thank you for the delicious meal.

After donating blood at the Shin Sapporo Blood Donation Room, I had a light lunch at Heiroku Sushi on the 3rd floor of Sanpiazza. It is a revolving sushi restaurant run by the same people behind the yakiniku restaurant Sakai. The interior has a traditional feel and all seats are at the counter, with the option of ordering directly from the sushi chefs. There are many seafood options on the menu, with a focus on fresh ingredients from the Tohoku region. The quality of the shellfish is particularly good and the portion sizes are smaller, allowing you to try a variety of dishes. Overall, Heiroku Sushi is a casual and satisfying dining option.

I stopped by this place after feeling disappointed at the previous shop. Oh, they also serve drinks here! Well, I just want to have a little something to eat today. I ordered a 4 kinds of shellfish platter, tender beef tongue sushi, and fresh sardines. The shellfish included mussels, surf clams, cockles, and scallop skewers. I couldn't really appreciate the taste of the beef tongue sushi. That's all for today. The total was 800 yen and I received change. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived around 7pm on a regular day. There were 2 other customers before me. I tried various recommended dishes that are unique to Hokkaido. The shochu highball for 220 yen including tax was a good deal. However, the sushi rice was just terrible. It was bad in terms of temperature, texture, everything. The toppings were also just okay. I ended up paying 1,760 yen for 7 plates and 1 shochu highball, so maybe I shouldn't complain, but that was my honest opinion as per the title.

Located in the basement of Shin-Sapporo Sunpiazza, this budget sushi restaurant offers dishes starting from 100 yen each. If you're looking to satisfy your sushi craving without breaking the bank, this place is highly recommended! I had some errands in Hokkaido again last night. After a tiring day at work, I spent the afternoon zoning out at the apartment I rented in Oyachi. By evening, I started feeling a bit hungry and decided to have dinner at the Shin-Sapporo Station underground area. Due to the state of emergency in Hokkaido, even though it was a Saturday night, the place was surprisingly quiet with many shops closed. Choices were limited, but I spotted the lively "Heiroku" sushi restaurant and decided to give it a try! The restaurant only had a counter with a conveyor belt serving sushi. Since it was still early, there weren't many customers. I was seated towards the back and the place seemed clean and well-maintained. Looking at the menu, I noticed that dishes were priced starting from 100 yen each. There was a variety of options, including seasonal items. On this day, they were offering non-alcoholic beer for just 140 yen (excluding tax). I quickly ordered the following items: - Shime-saba (pickled mackerel) - Kohada (gizzard shad) - Iwashi (sardine) - Nigiri sushi with fresh shirasu (young sardines) - Assorted shellfish nigiri set - Salmon from Miyagi Prefecture - California roll The first dish that arrived was the Kohada. It was small and seemed like something you could find at a supermarket. The taste was average, and the rice was too soft, possibly due to the sushi rice machine, making it fall apart easily when picked up with chopsticks. The Shime-saba was similar. The Iwashi was barely edible. The quality improved from the salmon onwards, possibly due to a different chef. The fresh shirasu was a generous portion and worth the price. The California roll with salmon was impressive and highly recommended. The assorted shellfish nigiri set was a good deal. If you're looking to have an affordable meal with your family, this place is sufficient. However, personally, I wouldn't choose to dine here again.

May 2021 work lunch ( ‘ω’)ŧ‹”ŧ‹” Sanpiazza B3 The oldest conveyor belt sushi in Eastern Japan, now only two stores in Hokkaido. How time flies, huh ( -ω-)y─━ =3 Every 6th of the month is Hiroroku Day! There are slightly discounted menu items for dine-in customers. ・Aradashi (fish broth soup) 240 yen → 100 yen It's a bit of a deal at 100 yen, but the regular price of 240 yen feels high. ・Maguro (tuna) 140 yen Hiroroku Day with an extra piece Thawed too little and cold ( ´-ω-) ・Tsukimi nama shirasu (raw whitebait with egg) small dish 180 yen I thought it was a small bowl, but I was wrong (>_<") Can't drink alcohol, but still got a snack w ・Steamed shrimp 100 yen Hiroroku Day with an extra piece Thin shrimp-chan disappears into the rice like nothing (^^; Takeout limited to 10 pieces for 500 yen There are sushi available - Thank you for the meal (^ω^) ===========

If you're looking for affordable sushi at Shin-Sapporo Station, then I recommend going to Heiroku Sushi! You can also enjoy seasonal ingredients there. I ordered the fresh sardine, salmon, cold yellowtail, horse mackerel, marinated sardine, seared mackerel, asparagus, and horse meat sushi. The freshness was quite good. Personally, I think the best today was the fresh sardine. It wasn't fatty like tuna, but it was soft and had a good freshness to it, making it delicious. However, the size of the sushi pieces is smaller compared to Triton or Nagoyakatei. But the affordability is a strong point. I had 8 plates and it only cost 1300 yen. They also serve miso soup, which is a nice touch. The pickled ginger was served separately. It's great to see them taking such good measures during these times. The revolving sushi plates were covered as well. They seem to be really serious about infection control. The service was excellent. I used a coupon for a free plate from the Otocle app, which was a nice bonus. Coupon information is important. They accept various electronic payment methods such as major cards, iD, QUICPay, Edy, WAON, nanaco, and transportation IC cards. Electronic payment is convenient. I hope they update their official website's payment information. Overall, it was a great meal. If you're looking for affordable sushi, I recommend this place over 100 yen sushi.

I was planning to have a casual drink at the ramen shop across the street, but ended up having ramen as well. As I was about to leave, I noticed a sign saying "15% discount for takeout." I decided to buy something as a souvenir. Inside the shop, I saw another sign saying "199 yen for the second drink." So, I ordered a glass of beer (380 yen) as my first drink and a highball (199 yen) as my second. I started with a "Tekka Maki" (180 yen) and "Edamame" (180 yen) while thinking about what to buy as a souvenir (where did the photos go?!). I ordered a light meal since I had already eaten dinner, and had "Shime Kohada" (100 yen) and "Honda Garei Engawa" (240 yen). The Tekka Maki was excellent with a glass of beer! The vinegar on the Kohada was a bit sweet, but I was happy since it's not always on the menu. The Engawa, although it was flounder, had a good fatty texture and was delicious (^-^) With a 10% discount for registering on their app, my total bill was in the thousands (excluding the souvenir). It's a nice place for a casual drink (^-^) Thank you for the meal (^o^) Oh, the female staff was cheerful, friendly, and hardworking, leaving a good impression (^-^)

[Hokkaido Series ④] After a long time, I visited "Heiroku Sushi Sapporo Sunpiazza Branch" with a relative. We started with a toast with draft beer and decided to try our favorite sushi toppings. We first ordered the same appealing menu for two people. - "Maguro Zukushi (excluding tax 590 yen)" featured four types of tuna: Otoro, Chutoro, Akami, and Toro Tekka. The fatty tuna was incredibly delicious and a great deal for the price. - "Muromachi Sankan (excluding tax 390 yen)" included sea urchin, salmon roe, and scallop. All were fresh and tasty, especially the scallop bursting with flavor. We also enjoyed other toppings like live scallop, king crab, and Hokkaido sand flounder fin. My cousin indulged in "Premium Uni (2 pieces, excluding tax 290 yen)" (laughs). We ate quite a lot, but the total bill of just under 6000 yen felt reasonable for the quality of sushi. We were satisfied with the fresh toppings and the reassuring prices at this conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Although my cousin is younger, he insisted on treating us next time, so we headed to a pub for the finale (laughs). Over drinks, he shared his worries about his younger sibling, who has become overly spoiled due to overprotective parenting. So, I shared some humorous advice: 1. They now cook even pork for their child, as raw meat is considered dangerous even for wolves. 2. They are teaching their child how to do breakfalls before lions push them off cliffs. I joked around to lighten the mood, and it seemed to provide some relief. Thanks for the meal.

The pioneer of conveyor belt sushi was still going strong. With the state of emergency lifted, I found out through reviews that the Sunpiazza in New Sapporo had finally opened, so I decided to visit. I enjoyed a set of three pieces (Tokugawa, Toyotomi, Oda, Hikari) as the main course, along with a variety of bluefin tuna dishes from the limited-time bluefin tuna fair and today's recommended dishes such as tender octopus and fresh yellowtail. I also indulged in the thick-cut salted beef tongue collaboration with Beko Masamune. As it got late, I added a highball to the mix and thoroughly enjoyed a progressive dinner. The venue still felt a bit empty with few people around. Hopefully, the flow of people will pick up soon. Thank you for the meal.

A rotating sushi restaurant that hardly rotates (laughs). You order with an order sheet, and thankfully they have a ◯◯ fair all year round! This time, it's the 3rd-anniversary renewal (laughs). Despite having many elderly customers, the sushi pieces are a bit bigger, so you get full quickly. They also have a good selection of 3-piece sets, which is convenient when you want to try a variety of things little by little. It's just a short walk from the JR station to the subway transfer, but it was a little treat. Thank you for the meal!

On a certain weekday, I went to a revolving sushi restaurant located on the 3rd floor underground of Shin-Sapporo Sunpiazza for lunch. The parking lot is shared and can be used. The interior of the restaurant is quite spacious, with a long counter lane, and the atmosphere is quiet. Old Japanese pop songs are playing in the background. I decided to try the "Lunch Special 10-piece Set (1000 yen tax included)" from the menu. Soon, miso soup and chawanmushi arrived from the kitchen at the back. Then, the sushi arrived from the kitchen. I took a bite and found that the sushi rice was mild in vinegar flavor and the portion was small. The toppings were decent, with fatty engawa, crunchy tsubu, and well-prepared tuna. The wasabi was generously applied. The squid and shrimp were okay, while the salmon was delicious. The yellowtail had a good thickness, and the saury was appreciated. The ikura and uni portions were small. The chawanmushi with grated yam and miso soup with shrimp, naruto, mitsuba, shiitake, chestnut, and chicken were sweet in taste. I wonder if the restaurant is increasing profits through compact sushi portions and reduced staff. Thank you for the meal.

Visited "Heiraku Sushi Sapporo Sunpiazza Store" for the first time. It was Sunday afternoon, and I decided to enjoy my favorite sushi without worrying about the price while having a glass of draft beer at the conveyor belt sushi. With this rule, I hope my wallet will forgive me. The restaurant was surprisingly spacious and bustling with customers. The sushi passing by looked delicious, but it seemed like you had to write down your order on a sheet. I had high expectations for Hokkaido's conveyor belt sushi. I started with a gulp of draft beer. First, I ordered a double serving of "Fresh Sea Urchin (2 pieces for 290 yen before tax)" - it was like a dream come true. So fresh and sweet, incredibly delicious. I also ordered "Tuna Trio (3 pieces for 490 yen before tax)" - which included Otoro, Chutoro, and Akami. All three were fatty and delicious. I also enjoyed 2 pieces of snow crab, 2 pieces of squid, and 1 scallop before finishing my glass of beer. All the sushi was fresh and tasty. I made sure not to look at the prices when ordering (laughs). The total bill came to about 2400 yen. Considering the quality of the sushi and the beer, it was quite affordable. Setting the rule to enjoy my favorite sushi without worrying about the price was incredibly refreshing. Despite the crowd, the sushi chefs and female staff were friendly and provided great service. Overall, I was satisfied with the delicious conveyor belt sushi. Thank you for the meal.

On the 5th day of feeling unwell, my temperature finally dropped to 37.5°C and I was able to move around, so I decided to go out! I stopped at Shin-Sapporo for a sushi refill. I had been avoiding sushi thinking it might not be good for my body, but I was wrong. I actually found my appetite increasing, couldn't stop eating, and felt full for the first time in a while, which made me very happy. My taste buds are still a bit numb, so I couldn't fully taste the flavors, but I enjoyed the aroma and texture. When it was time to pay, I got a bit nervous about eating too much, but even then, it was just a little over a thousand yen. I really appreciate the efforts of the conveyor belt sushi restaurant. A grateful dinner. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a revolving sushi restaurant in Sunpiazza B3 in Shin-Sapporo in August 2019. It was not crowded on a Sunday at 12:30, which was surprising. The seating was a bit cramped and uncomfortable, with little space between tables. However, the food was good and reasonably priced. I had shrimp soup for 151 yen, 3 pieces of squid for 108 yen, and a set of 3 pieces of sanma nigiri for 183 yen. Overall, the meal cost me 442 yen. It was a satisfying and affordable lunch option.

Hiraroku Sushi is a long-established revolving sushi restaurant chain that originated in Kansai and was the first to expand into Eastern Japan under the name of Edo Period Sushi. I don't usually review chain restaurants, but I've always had a soft spot for Hiraroku Sushi. My favorite dish there is the swordfish sashimi. I'm not sure if it's 100% swordfish or if there's some other fish mixed in, but it has a unique flavor that is refreshing yet rich, different from the usual tuna negitoro. When they have this dish on the menu, I always end up going to Hiraroku Sushi. On this particular visit, I also enjoyed the rare live Hokkaido shrimp and live Pacific hokke. They also have unique dishes from Miyagi Prefecture like beef tongue, which sets them apart from other Hokkaido-based revolving sushi chains. I appreciate their original approach and hope they continue to thrive. Thank you for the meal!

This is the underground 3rd floor of Sanpiazza. It was around 7:00 PM on a weekday and about half of the seats were taken. The menu had a lot of items, I was surprised by how many there were. Sushi wasn't really going around, they take orders and deliver freshly made sushi to you, which is nice. I ordered the shellfish 5-piece set, the all-tuna set, and the octopus feast. The tea was powdered tea. I heard "Excuse me!" a few times, but I thought it didn't concern me until they said it to me. "I don't have soy sauce, can you lend me some?" It was a customer three seats away. Despite the staff being right there, why ask me?! I looked around a few seats to the right and left, but soy sauce was only at my seat. A sushi restaurant without soy sauce at multiple seats, what's up with that? I couldn't get the soy sauce back and there were other things that made me go "huh?!" a lot, so I left the restaurant feeling uncomfortable.

After shopping at Sunpiazza, I felt hungry and decided to stop by. ◆Heiroku Sushi Sapporo Sunpiazza Branch◆ The seating is only at the counter, which is a bit unusual for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. There were only two other customers when I arrived, so the place was quite empty. However, for some reason, I was seated right next to the other two customers (two men). With so many empty seats available, it made me wonder why they couldn't seat me a bit further away or just let me choose my own seat. As I looked at the menu, more customers arrived. A family of three was seated right next to me (・・;). I couldn't help but think, "Why are they seating everyone so close together when there are plenty of empty seats?" It felt cramped and uncomfortable. Since I didn't feel like lingering, I quickly ordered two plates. To my surprise, the rice was too soft and mushy (・・;). It was like a punishment to eat it. I left one piece uneaten and decided to leave. It was the first time I ate so little at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. After returning home, I checked the reviews and saw that others had similar experiences with the seating arrangement. I should have read the reviews beforehand... ( ̄0 ̄;) Well, as they say, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." Each restaurant has its own way of doing things, and if it doesn't suit you, then you can simply choose not to go there. Overall, it was a lunch that made me realize the importance of choosing the right place to eat. Thank you for the meal♪
