This afternoon, after passing noon, I stopped by a place on my way to Lake Akan Onsen to get a drink. I was feeling a bit full from eating too much, so I bought a Pepsi Special and a Sapporo Classic 500. I wanted to drink the Classic right there, but I still had a ways to go to Lake Akan Onsen, so I held off. Later, as I drove to the onsen, I found another store with drinks. I probably didn't need to buy them earlier. After checking into the hotel, I took a bath and when my throat felt really dry, I finally drank the Sapporo Classic. It was delicious! I wonder why we can't buy it in Kanto. Maybe it tastes better when you drink it in the Hokkaido air. Even though the air today feels like the humid air in the mainland during the rainy season, the drink was still delicious.
