Near Shin-Nihonbashi Station, if you venture into a back street, you can find a hidden gem of a restaurant. Many people may not have noticed this place, even if it's close to their workplace or home, as it’s tucked away in a less-traveled alley. The entrance displays the number of available seats for the next month, which is a thoughtful touch that makes reservations easy. The restaurant is new, clean, and stylish, serving Chinese cuisine. It has a cozy, hidden atmosphere that would be perfect for a date. All the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The prices are reasonable, and with a clean establishment and tasty food in a hidden location, it has all the elements of a popular restaurant. I have a feeling that it may soon become well-known and hard to reserve a table. Thank you for the meal!

I also participated in the festival and tried the hot and sour noodle soup for 1000 yen, which came with a mini fried rice and almond tofu. The flavor stood out with a strong black pepper! It has an adult taste. The large spoon made it easy to eat, which was nice. The noodles were slightly better than the ones from regular street Chinese restaurants, but still had a soft texture. I think the content for 1000 yen is quite good, so it seems customers are coming in early to avoid the crowds. The photo is from my visit at that time. Thank you for the meal!

I visited for lunch! They have a regular menu as well as a weekly special menu! Although I was tempted by the garlic chives and liver dish, it was a cold day, so I decided to go for ramen! I ordered the shrimp tanmen for 1000 yen (tax included), which came with a small fried rice and almond tofu. I was surprised by the generous portion of the tanmen, as it was served on a quite large plate! It was delicious, with plenty of shrimp and vegetables!

We visited this Chinese restaurant near Shin-Nihonbashi Station for a group dinner on a weekday, with a reservation in advance. Upon entering, we found seating for 44 people. We ordered a la carte items such as "dumplings," "sweet and sour pork in black vinegar," "shumai," "spicy chicken," "large shrimp in mayonnaise," "mapo tofu," and "fried chicken with homemade salt and pepper," along with a good amount of alcohol. All the dishes were of consistently high quality. I particularly enjoyed the large and hearty "shumai" and the uniquely shaped "fried chicken with homemade salt and pepper." I think this restaurant is a great choice for gatherings of larger groups! Thank you for the meal!

I went to Nihonbashi for some errands and dropped by a new restaurant. There was a signboard on the main street, and I casually decided to check it out. Today, I had fried rice! The lunch menu was 900 yen, and there were other options like tantanmen as well (^^). Since it was lunchtime, I couldn't pay by card, but I was able to use PayPay. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

After work, I decided to have a quick drink with my colleagues. It's getting a bit cold and it's raining. Having some Chinese food while enjoying warm Shaoxing wine sounds great. We ordered century egg, shrimp chili, liver and veggies, and dumplings. We got a bottle of Shaoxing wine served hot. Everything was pretty delicious. Every time we come here, what starts as a quick drink turns into 2 or 3 hours in no time! Thank you as always. That was great!

I don’t usually pass by this street, but I was aware of the Chinese restaurant's existence. I saw the storefront once and didn’t visit, and before I knew it, it had closed. A new restaurant with a Chinese owner opened in the same place. It is called TETSU, with four dragons arranged in a square. That's quite a number of strokes! For example, TETSU Takinozawa has 110 strokes. Not that it really matters. I apologize for that. I ordered the hot and sour noodle soup for 1000 yen (which comes with a small fried rice and almond jelly). While mapo tofu and tantanmen are common in Chinese restaurants, hot and sour noodle soup is surprisingly rare, so I appreciate it. The photographs of the lunch menu look delicious, and I can roughly guess the taste based on their appearance. The hot and sour noodle soup is just as tasty as it sounds, so I highly recommend it. During lunchtime, there can be a line outside, but the food is served quickly, and they accommodate shared tables, so the turnover is good and you won't wait too long. The dinner courses also seem great, but they start at three people. I wish they would change it to accommodate two people. The photos attached are from my visit. Thank you for the meal!

I visited for lunch. Although it was a Saturday, there were few people since it was slightly away from the center of Nihonbashi. I love fried rice, so I ordered the fried rice lunch. The shrimp was plump and delicious. The seasoning was gentle in a good way, and I was able to eat it easily. I plan to visit again.

I happened to discover this restaurant in a back alley, and they welcomed me warmly. The interior has a stylish ambiance reminiscent of a hotel or a large restaurant, and by 11:30, it was almost full. I ordered the dan dan noodle set (which comes with a half serving of fried rice and almond jelly for 1000 yen), and I was amazed at how quickly my order was served. The clear broth dan dan noodles, which don’t use ground sesame, had a nice spicy kick from the chili oil, and the noodles themselves were delicious. The minced meat was lean and had a clean taste. The half serving of fried rice was simple yet aromatic, making it a perfect palate cleanser. I left feeling completely satisfied, and I recommended the almond jelly to my friend. I learned that the restaurant just opened in October, but even when it was full, the service was smooth, and the restroom was clean. I'm curious about the dinner menu, so the locals are quite lucky. I definitely want to visit again.

I used to stroll around the Nihonbashi Honmachi area trying out various foods, but I haven't done so in a while. In the past, there were many charming shops hidden in the backstreets, but with the ongoing redevelopment in the Nihonbashi area, the alleys around Honmachi have become quite desolate. While walking through one of these alleys, I discovered a new restaurant. It used to be a Chinese restaurant, but it seems that it has changed ownership. When I checked the store information, I found out that it opened on October 2, 2023. It's a recent opening. On this day, I was coming back from work in the afternoon, so I decided to visit for lunch another day. When I checked the lunch menu outside, the fried rice was priced at 900 yen, and the other items were all 1,000 yen, with a total of six menu options. Upon entering, I found the restaurant had a stylish atmosphere. I sat at an available table and ordered the tantanmen (spicy sesame noodle soup). After a while, my order was brought out on a tray. Along with the tantanmen, there was half a serving of fried rice and an almond jelly for dessert. The toppings for the tantanmen were coarsely ground meat, greens, and scallions—simple ingredients. The soup had a soy sauce base instead of sesame, and the noodles were curled Chinese noodles. When I tasted it, I found it to be light thanks to the soy sauce base. Although there was a bit of chili oil used, it was in small amounts, so it wasn’t spicy. It wasn’t bad, but both in appearance and taste, it felt very simple. The half-fried rice had finely chopped carrots and eggs, making it another straightforward dish. The flavor was good, and the texture was just right, but somehow it felt lacking in something. The almond jelly was homemade, boasting a rich taste, but it was a bit watery. It had goji berries as a topping. Overall, while the flavors were good, the dishes were very basic. Along with the restaurant's clean interior, it felt like refined Chinese cuisine. Personally, I felt that paying 1,000 yen for this meal was a bit pricey, reflecting the Nihonbashi pricing. On the other hand, perhaps it suited the location. Wishing them the best for the future. Thank you for the meal!

I visited Ryuryuryuryu TETSU for lunch in Shin-Nihonbashi and chose the tantanmen. It had a moderate level of spiciness and the noodles were thin and delicious. However, the accompanying fried rice was disappointing. If I were to eat there again, I would stick to a large portion of the tantanmen on its own. I hope they can improve the fried rice as well.

I had been watching this restaurant since it opened, and I finally had the chance to visit with high expectations. There was some complacency on my part, thinking that the Chinese cuisine I had picked wouldn’t let me down. The restaurant had a nice appearance, and the atmosphere suggested that only delicious food would be served, which raised my expectations significantly. I ordered the set that came with hot and sour soup noodles and fried rice. First, the noodles were completely clumped together, and the soupy sauce on top was so thick that when I tried to use chopsticks, they just stood upright in the mass. I had to mix it like a noodle salad, making it extremely difficult to eat. There was definitely a lack of that desired consistency. Then came the fried rice. What on earth was this? It had no flavor at all. It tasted just like oil-coated rice. I even tried the dessert, the almond jelly, but that was a miss too. There’s a restaurant in Kanda that serves a much better almond jelly with their set meals. However, the service there is painfully slow, so I wouldn’t go for lunch (it’s called Katsudining). Overall, I left the restaurant feeling really disappointed. More than anything, I regretted that my instincts had failed me. This was not what I expected, like something out of "Solitary Gourmet."

I visited this restaurant for lunch on a weekday for the first time. It’s a very nice place and it’s bustling with customers. There were mostly women, and the atmosphere is pleasant, so it might be a good spot for a lunch with female friends. The taste, however, is quite average. It doesn't have the robust flavors typically found in Chinese cuisine; instead, it's light and mildly seasoned, which was honestly a bit unsatisfying. The fried rice was also very ordinary. It’s probably challenging to create delicious dishes while keeping the prices low. Thank you for the meal!

At the company drinking party, we had a 5000 yen course with all-you-can-drink. For this price, I have no complaints about the taste. In fact, the flavor is absolutely on par with high-end restaurants. All the dishes were delicious, but my favorite was the stir-fried bean sprouts and pea shoots. It’s truly amazing how they can make such simple ingredients so tasty. The staff was also very kind, and I will definitely come back again.

I had shrimp and egg stir-fry, fried chicken, boiled dumplings, and sweet and sour pork. The shrimp and egg stir-fry was delicious, with the shrimp being juicy and fresh. The fried chicken was very juicy and packed with flavor, making it really tasty. The boiled dumplings were large with delicious soup, which was excellent. The sweet and sour pork was luxurious, loaded with a lot of meat. I ordered a jasmine highball, which paired perfectly with the Chinese dishes.

This used to be a Chinese restaurant, but it feels like it has transformed from a heavy, greasy place into a more refined Chinese eatery. It seems like the place has changed, right? There's a certain touch of luxury about it. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles, and the large spoon adds to that high-end feel. However, there was a lot of spicy oil at the bottom that I didn't mix well enough, so I'm slightly disappointed about that. They also have several options for the daily lunch special, and I definitely want to come back to this place again.

I visited on Friday just after 1 PM, and it was almost full. Although I had to share a table, I was quickly shown to a regular table. There are about 10 tables, but there are few two-person tables, and most are for four or more people, so solo diners might have to time their visits differently to avoid sharing. The standard lunch menu has a lot of noodle options, but there are also set meals available. Additionally, there's a weekly special lunch; this time I ordered the stir-fried pork, eggs, and wood ear mushrooms set meal. I think it's a really delicious place compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. I definitely want to visit again.

I accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering through a back alley, and after being warmly invited inside, I decided to dine here. The interior was stylish, reminiscent of a hotel or a large restaurant, and by 11:30, it was almost full. I ordered the tantanmen noodle set, which came with a half portion of fried rice and almond tofu for 1000 yen (they also had a weekly special with three different items). Despite the crowd, the service was impressively quick. What surprised me even more was that the tantanmen used a clear broth type without any sesame paste. This gave me high hopes… The spicy chili oil added a nice kick, and the noodles were incredibly delicious! The ground meat was not greasy at all, which made for a refreshing taste throughout the meal. The half portion of fried rice was simple in terms of ingredients but had a wonderful aroma, making it a perfect palate cleanser. I ended up feeling quite full and even recommended the almond tofu to a friend I was with. It’s rare to find such quality cooking for 1000 yen. I learned that the restaurant had just opened in October, but they managed the full house with efficient and attentive service, and the restroom was kept clean, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. Now I can't help but be curious about the dinner menu… I can’t help but feel envious for those who work nearby! I look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the meal!

This is a lunch review of a new Chinese restaurant, "Shin-Nihonbashi Chuka Ryuryuryuruyru TETSU." I didn’t actively aim to visit this restaurant; I just thought, "Oh, a new place! Let’s check it out!" The interior is beautiful, and the place was bustling with customers. The staff provided a pleasant and efficient service (≧∀≦). Since I had no prior information about this establishment, I decided to go with my instincts! They have my favorite, tantanmen! Normally, I would order it without hesitation—well, maybe with a little deliberation—but for some reason that day, I found myself craving sour and spicy noodle soup (suanla tangmian). Perhaps it was just because the two people next to me had ordered it (°_°). The soup was darker than usual sour and spicy soup. It was so thick that at first, it was difficult to lift the noodles. It was piping hot—so much so that steam was rising from it until the end. Initially, the sourness and spiciness didn’t seem strong, making me think, "Oh? Is that all?" However, the flavor of black pepper was quite prominent, and as I ate, the heat from the thick soup combined with the peppery spice made me start to sweat. Before I knew it, I was hooked on its rich flavor and ended up finishing the entire bowl. In the end, I added a small fried rice I had with the soup! One odd thing was the soup spoon—it was enormous! I’m curious if there’s a reason behind it. I’ll have to ask the staff next time^_^ Everyone here is really nice, and it was delicious! ☺︎ #Gourmet #GourmetDiary #GourmetGirl #ConnectingWithGourmetLovers #ShinNihonbashiGourmet #ShinNihonbashiLunch #ShinNihonbashiChineseTETSU #ChineseCuisine #StreetChinese #SuanlaTangmian #KandaGourmet #KandaLunch #GourmetJournal

It's a relatively new restaurant. I visited during lunchtime. They had several lunch sets, including a set with sour and spicy soup noodles and fried rice. The sour and spicy soup noodles had quite a strong flavor, and the tofu was cut into relatively large pieces. I really love sour and spicy soup noodles, but they can vary a lot from one place to another. While this one wasn't exactly what I was hoping for, it was still tasty. I feel like I can easily come here when I want to have sour and spicy soup noodles for lunch. On the other hand, the fried rice was light and balanced. It seems like a popular place for lunchtime, with a variety of menu options available.
