Michelin-starred kaiseki restaurant in Temmabashi. Suioya, which has relocated, is about 50 meters from Fujikawa. I decided to visit Fujikawa since I haven't been there this year and I'm going to Suio. I hope that both restaurants will have a synergistic effect. The unique feature of Fujikawa's course is that half of it consists of tempura. It's perfect for when you want to eat tempura but don't feel like having a heavy meal at a tempura restaurant. With 8 counter seats and private rooms, the budget is 23,000 yen per person. Reservations can be requested online through Gurunavi. Reservations are relatively easy to make. This time's dishes include clam chawanmushi with Hamanako seaweed sauce, steamed abalone from Akashi with spring onions, rapeseed flowers, tomatoes, and ginger jelly, rice steamed with firefly squid, inch beans, and sea bream milt, vinegar miso-marinated anago from Tsushima and flat clams, white tilefish and water eggplant soup. The water eggplant is this year's first. The sashimi includes golden-eyed snapper from Chiba, purple sea urchin from Oma, and swordtip squid, followed by tempura of prawn, shiitake mushroom, biwako ayu, asparagus, tilefish, peanuts, and a simmered dish of lotus root manju and hairy crab sauce. Finally, there is a clay pot rice with cherry shrimp, ginger, and Moroccan green beans, as well as caramel ice cream with golden kiwi and strawberries.

I felt a good Japanese atmosphere in the counter-based restaurant. I had a lunch course that was simple but well-prepared, with a beautiful seasonal touch. The tempura included various ingredients, keeping it interesting without getting boring.

I wanted to eat delicious food during my trip to Osaka, so I searched and made a reservation. We used a private room with our children. We didn't drink alcohol, so we may not have been the most profitable customers for the restaurant, but they were kind and provided us with delicious food to enjoy at our own pace. The tempura was excellent, as well as the side dishes, sashimi, and rice.

The menu changes with each season, with many dishes featuring seasonal ingredients. This allows for a fresh dining experience every time. The restaurant also offers a selection of sake to pair with the dishes, and they remember your preferences, making each visit even more enjoyable. Personally, I think this is a fantastic restaurant and I look forward to visiting again!

I don't go frequently, but I have been visiting this traditional Japanese restaurant for many years. The quality of the food is evident just by looking at the photos. They have remembered my preferences for sake, and they even offer options that are not on the menu, like the brand New Government. It's much appreciated, especially for regular customers. If you are looking for a high-end Japanese dining experience in the Temmabashi area, I highly recommend this place.

I love this restaurant!!! I recently used it for a business dinner. The private room at the counter seat had a great atmosphere and felt very special. We had a course meal and the food was delicious, with perfect alcohol pairings. I will definitely use this restaurant again! Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Since June, I visited Tempura Fudokawa in Temmabashi. It is a Michelin one-star restaurant that serves both traditional Japanese cuisine and tempura. The meal started with a steamed egg custard with sea urchin, followed by seared kamasu fish, Dutch-style cooked eggplant, king oyster mushrooms with ponzu jelly, and crab rice steamed in a bamboo leaf. The meal also included smoked Spanish mackerel with sweet potato leaves and ginger jelly, red snapper with sea urchin from Tokushima, and yellowtail from Hokkaido with grated daikon and ponzu sauce. The tempura course featured prawns, bamboo shoots, asparagus from Austria, belt fish, green onions from Shimonita, and conger eel from Tsushima. The meal ended with a dish of anglerfish and turnip in chrysanthemum paste, chestnut rice, vanilla ice cream, and pumpkin pudding.

Fujikawa in Temmabashi is run by a head chef who trained at Funabashi Kichō and Ichijiru Ni Na Ueno. They serve delicious dishes and tempura. Temmabashi has been seeing a rise in trendy cafes lately. It's especially recommended to have lunch here during cherry blossom season, as you can enjoy flower viewing afterwards. It's not a neon-lit area, so the prices are quite reasonable. The tempura and other dishes are all delicious. They have private rooms, making it perfect for entertaining family, friends, or business associates. It's one of the restaurants I frequent.

I was brought here by my favorite senior! It was amazing! Amazing! Amazing! So awesome! It was delicious. First of all, the atmosphere was really nice! Taking off your shoes and eating at the counter style! The best! The first dish, the conger eel, already gave a new sensation in my mouth. Delicious. The next dish really made me feel the autumn season. And then, the crab that is about to start! And then, and then. The best dish for me today was the soup. The one with white miso and shirako (milt) in it!! I wanted seconds of this. It was too delicious! LOL Sashimi! Tempura! Everything was delicious and tasty. I ate so much that I even had seconds of rice. Dessert was served with a zabuton (Japanese cushion) underneath. It was just wonderful! It was delicious~ Thank you for the meal.

Located along the river in Temmabashi, this is a Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant. I heard that the owner is from the same school as Mr. Kita-gawa. The entrance and interior are well done, as expected. The course starts with appetizers and sashimi, then moves on to soup, followed by tempura and simmered dishes at the counter. I'm sorry, but personally, it didn't quite resonate with me. I understand that the dishes are well-prepared in a traditional Japanese style, but I think maybe the owner's taste and mine don't quite align. I couldn't tell which dish was the main course of the day, or which dishes were the owner's signature. I couldn't quite grasp how to enjoy each ingredient. It felt like they simply seasoned high-quality ingredients lightly. Maybe if I study more about cooking, my opinion might change.

I have been dining at Fujikawa's restaurant for lunch every month. This time, I tried their 10,000 yen course for the first time (normally it's a 6,000 yen course only). The ingredients were even more luxurious, and the dishes were very satisfying. The menu included: - Hair crab and water eggplant with jelly - Karasumi (bottarga) and kamasu (barracuda) with sesame tofu - Sweet sea bream sashimi - Hamo (pike conger) tempura - Kuruma prawn - Hachijo okra - Tachiuo (beltfish) - Sawara (Spanish mackerel) - Corn, taro, and yuba in a thickened sauce - Mushroom rice - Soybean flour ice cream

Fujikawa-san's lunch♡ I've been curious about it since I had a takeout bento box last year, so I was really happy to finally go there. The food... each dish is delicate and has a gentle taste that is kind to the body. The flavors are clear but not overpowering, and everything I ate made me think "Ah, delicious" deeply. The tempura is made with 5 or 6 different ingredients right in front of you. The young ayu fish and conger eel were so delicious... I still drool when I remember the juicy and fluffy texture of the conger eel. After looking it up later, I was surprised to find out that the post-meal feeling is similar to Ueno no Hana (my favorite restaurant). It turns out the chef is actually from there! In the end, I realized that the restaurants I love are of a similar style - feminine and delicate. And on top of being completely satisfied with the taste, the cost performance was amazing. I can't help but fall in love with a place like this.

For lunch, I recommend Fugikawa in Temmabashi. You can enjoy a leisurely meal at the private counter. The fish and tempura are delicious, and the mixed rice at the end is always amazing. The desserts are also delicious, making it a hidden pleasure.

A lively owner from the now-closed Funabashi Kichō at a counter-style Japanese restaurant along the Ōkawa Temmabashi. Tonight, the counter is occupied by one person, while a separate private room is bustling with a group. In support of the traditional Japanese restaurant, I opt for expensive sake glasses. The dishes are served promptly at my tempo, and the meal ends in just under 90 minutes. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

Regular family lunch. A restaurant with private rooms is convenient for family meals ☺️ When I mentioned it was a birthday celebration, they brought out a sea bream dish that wasn't on the course menu ❤️ Water eggplant, firefly squid, spicy vinegar miso red rice, sea bream and bamboo shoot steamed bun, wood sorrel nanban pickles, octopus, white Japanese mustard, seaweed and mozuku with swordfish and white shrimp, shiso and sawara, rockfish, Biwa Lake ayu, asparagus simmered in rice, red miso soup ice cream, kiwi. The food had a gentle flavor and was consistently delicious. Even in the private room, the tempura was served promptly 😊 We couldn't finish the last clay pot rice, so they made it into rice balls for us ❤️

Blog: https://kodomotoodekakeblog.com/ Let me introduce you to the Japanese restaurant "Tenmabashi Fujikawa" in Temmabashi, Osaka. This restaurant has been awarded one Michelin star for four consecutive years since 2018. It seems like they earned the star within a year of opening in 2017, which is quite impressive. As of the time of this post, the ratings on gourmet websites are as follows: Tabelog: 3.59 Ikyu.com: 4.88 The rating on Ikyu.com is particularly high. However, restaurants with Michelin stars like this one often do not allow children, making it difficult for families with kids to visit. But in the case of this restaurant, they have private rooms where children are allowed, so we reserved a private room. There is only one private room available, and the rest of the seating is at the counter. If there are six people, you can reserve the counter seats, which allows families with children to dine together. There are no facilities specifically for children, such as child-sized chairs or dishes, and there is no diaper changing station in the restroom. They also do not have a kids' menu. Despite the lack of child-specific facilities, the owner and staff are very friendly towards children. They interacted with our kids in a friendly manner, making them feel comfortable. Initially, our kids were shy, but they gradually opened up and ended up having a great time. Although there was no kids' menu, they arranged the adult menu to suit our children's preferences. The children's menu included: Rice Soup Chawanmushi Grilled swordfish Tempura (shrimp, swordfish with shiso leaf) Dessert (yogurt and strawberry ice cream with kumquat) We requested portions for two children (5 and 3 years old) at the cost of one adult. Our kids enjoyed the meal and ate a lot, despite not being big eaters usually. Next, the adult menu included: Chawanmushi (conger eel and shirako) Appetizer (sawara, sea cucumber, and kodawari?) Soup (white miso-based with shiitake, daikon, carrot, and tofu) Sashimi (flatfish) Tempura (swordfish with shiso leaf, green onion, sweetfish, white fish, taro) Simmered dish (sesame dumplings) Rice dish (jacogohan, miso soup) Dessert (yogurt and strawberry ice cream with kumquat) Everything was delicious, but the tempura was outstanding, as expected. The quality of the ingredients was apparent, and dishes like the swordfish with shiso leaf and taro were particularly tasty. The price for one adult was 6,600 yen (including tax), with no service charge or private room fee. While it may be considered expensive compared to regular lunches, it is relatively reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber. In conclusion, both adults and children were satisfied with the dining experience at this restaurant. Despite the lack of child-specific facilities or menu, the friendly and accommodating staff made it a memorable experience for the kids. The delicious food also left us adults very satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Be sure to visit and enjoy a meal there.

Located along the river in Temmabashi, Fushikawa is a Japanese restaurant that has been awarded one Michelin star. It is rare for a restaurant of this caliber to offer lunch service, and the fact that you can enjoy a course meal for only 6000 yen is a great deal. There are both counter seating and private rooms available, and this time we dined in a private room. From tempura to rice dishes to dessert, the lunch course had a wide variety of dishes and we were very satisfied with our meal.

On a Saturday holiday, I had lunch at the Japanese restaurant Fujikawa in Temmabashi. Once again, we enjoyed our meal in a private room with a cozy atmosphere. I forgot to take pictures of the four types of tempura we had... The mixed rice dish served at the end was delicious as always, and I look forward to it every time. I definitely want to visit this restaurant regularly.
