I chose the banana waffle with strawberry ice cream (630 yen) after customizing it a bit. Ordering both curry and waffles gave me a 50 yen discount, so the total came to 1330 yen including tax. The curry... This curry is actually from Kuroiwa Curry, a curry restaurant on the main street. The reason it's from Kuroiwa-san is because Meti-san and Kuroiwa-san have the same owner. They are sister stores. I had a very delicious experience with the spiced curry at Kuroiwa-san before. This was my first time trying the roux curry. It may look cheap in the cup container, but the taste is not bad. It's deliciously spicy and quite good. The rice was a bit firm, which bothered me a little, but overall it was still good. However, I wish they had water available when eating curry inside the store. The waffles... These are gluten-free egg waffles. They look vibrant and are very Instagrammable! When I tried them, the waffles had a gentle hint of sweetness and were delicious! I really liked the taste. The strawberry ice cream had a strong strawberry flavor and was tasty. I slowly tore off pieces of the waffle and enjoyed it with the soft serve ice cream, finishing it in no time. Next time, I'll try the crepe as well.

I decided to try the "Milk and Strawberry Half Waffle (480 yen)" after seeing the menu, which looked like it would be perfect for photos. I ordered it from the cute waitress and waited a bit as they made it fresh. The cup turned out to be quite big, even though it was a half size, and the waffle was light when I held it. I took a bite and the whipped cream was delicious. The surface of the waffle was crispy like a cookie, while the inside was slightly chewy. The parts without toppings could be torn off by hand, but for the parts with milk, ice cream, and strawberries, I used a spoon. It took about 8 minutes to receive my order because there was a customer before me. The waffle was in a large cup with a chocolate ice cream, 5 slices of banana, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce on top. The waffle was crispy on the outside but not chewy inside, and quite hollow. The ice cream, whipped cream, banana, and sauce were all average. If you eat those first, you're left with a lot of waffle which is quite difficult to eat. It's quite pricey at 680 yen for what you get. I think I would have preferred a regular crepe instead. Thank you for the meal.
