I visited the restaurant just past 1 PM on a weekday. It was quite crowded, so I expected to wait during lunch time. I ordered the 1,400 yen tteokbokki lunch. The portion was generous, and both the tteokbokki and the side dishes were very delicious.

I was in the mood for Korean food, so I visited this restaurant. I arrived at 12 noon and had to wait for about 5 people ahead of me, but the turnover was quick and I was seated in about 10 minutes. I chose the Dakgalbi set meal and added a cheese topping, turning it into Cheesy Dakgalbi! It wasn't very spicy, and while it didn't have any particularly distinctive flavors, it was rich in taste and very filling, which left me quite satisfied! The side dishes of namul that came with the meal were all delicious! However, I was quite disappointed that the rice was mushy; I want to believe it was just a one-time mistake.

I was looking for a lunch spot and was tempted by a restaurant that sells tonjiru (pork miso soup) in this area, which also has a location in Yoyogi. I was torn since both places had lines, but I decided to line up at the dakkanmari (Korean chicken soup) restaurant that I was initially drawn to. There were about three groups ahead of me, and I was seated in about 10 to 15 minutes. They take your order while you're in line, so once I sat at the counter, it didn't take long for the food to arrive. The soup was piping hot and came with six side dishes. The flavor of the soup was great, and while the meat wasn't super tender, it was delicious. There was also chewy tteokbokki (rice cakes) in the dish. It was a satisfying time.

The all-you-can-eat cheese dak-galbi was very appealing and delicious. I felt that 4,400 yen was a bit pricey. However, the location and the fact that everything is prepared for you were great. I preferred the ingredients over rice or noodles. The service was very good. I would like to try other menu items as well.

I often eat Takkanmari in South Korea, so I wanted to try it in Tokyo✨ It was really delicious!! We only ordered the Takkanmari course and drinks for two, but we were plenty full. At first, I thought the chicken looked small, but to my surprise, the ingredients for the hot pot can be refilled as many times as we like within the time limit! I was amazed and kept refilling, leaving me very satisfied. Next, I want to try Takkalbi!

I have been a regular at Kochu since its early days, and I'm relieved to see that the quality has remained. The lunch side dishes are full of vegetables, and I think the cost performance is excellent. Since it’s a specialty restaurant for Takkari, I tried the Takkari, and it had a gentle, healthy flavor. Next, I plan to try the Kimchi Jjigae!

I had dakkanmari and it was very delicious. The staff were friendly, making for a fun dining experience. I will definitely come back again.

It was an all-you-can-eat experience that was incredibly attentive. Without me having to say "excuse me," the staff provided exceptional service, and I ended up eating too much!

I visited for lunch and tried the Dakgangjeong lunch set. The rice was too soft for my liking, and the kimchi was not great either. The soup from the Dakgangjeong was delicious, but the meat was tough. It was disappointing.
