Manpuku Charcoal-grilled Yakiniku - Kuraudo
This Sunday, my wife is off, and on Saturday she said, "Let's go to Obihiro as I will try to come back early." As a result, I cannot make plans far away on Saturday, so I decided on Kitami! For lunch, I can have ramen at "Kuraudo." I think I've tried all the ramen shops in Kitami, but is this a new one? Oh, it really stands out - this used to be Osaka Ohsho, right? I hope it's not the same kind of ramen. If it is, I'll pass. It's a huge place. I arrived alone at 11:10 and was seated at the counter. They asked, "Would you like a drink?" but I said, "No need." This place is good for daytime drinking. The staff was very friendly. I asked if I could just have ramen, and they said, "Of course." I ordered the Shoyu Ramen, and it was served in 5 minutes. The back fat was a bit too much, I feel like I've been deceived lately. The Shoyu Ramen with back fat looks nice. The noodles are thin without any particular features, but I have no complaints. The moyashi (bean sprouts) seemed to be stir-fried, and I couldn't really tell, but it didn't taste bad. It was delicious. The negi (green onions) and menma (seasoned bamboo shoots) were flavorful, no complaints there. The hanjuku tamago (soft-boiled egg) was seasoned and had a nice runny yolk. The thick chashu (pork slices) was belly meat, and it had a good texture. I liked it. The soup is made creamy with the back fat, but if you drink it alone, it might be a bit salty. There is umami and richness, probably from seasoning. What caught my attention was the sweetness. It's not a bad sweetness, but I think it could be toned down a bit. It was delicious though. They advertise it as "Finishing Shoyu Ramen," so the portion is smaller. For me, it was just right, but for the average person, it might be too little. The ramen was cheap, but considering the portion, it seems reasonable. It was delicious, so I'm satisfied. The score is 3.5. The background music was quite loud, playing American pop songs. It might be hard to hear when it's full. The total cost was excluding consumption tax, and it came to 3.3.
