I think I've always seen it, but this time I happened to notice it and stopped by Obara Pan. It was past 1 pm, and since it was my first visit, I'm not sure if they have the full lineup, but there were 15 varieties of bread other than the main food items. For my companion, I bought a frankfurter bun for 108 yen (tax included), a curry bun for 118 yen, and asked if they could slice the 6-slice loaf of bread into 5 slices. I purchased one loaf. The next morning, I tried them. The bread was a bit on the dry side. When toasted, the buttery aroma came out from the bread itself, making it suitable for everyday use considering the price. When I asked my companion for feedback on the curry bun, they said it was "sweet." "Sweet?" I thought, imagining something like a cream bun, but upon further inquiry, it seems the curry was mild (^^;) According to the information from Nakasatsunai Village Tourist Information, all products use 100% Tokachi wheat, so I wonder if it's worth the price. I heard that they have been in business at this location for over 20 years, so it seems like bread for daily use by the villagers. Since there is limited information in rural areas, I decided to post this review. When I searched, it seems that the sweet bread may be recommended. Thank you for the meal.

"On Sunday, the two of us were in Tokachi for garden hopping, the first round in Kamikawa and today the second round in Tokachi. We went straight to 'Shichiku Garden' and stayed there for about an hour and a half. We decided to head to the Michi-no-Eki in Nakasatsunai to use the restroom, which turned out to be a detour of about 10 km. This ended up costing us time, and we couldn't make it to the next stop, the Manabe Garden. I was the one who suggested going to Nakasatsunai, so I bet the other person would have said something like, 'If we hadn't gone to Nakasatsunai, we could have gone to the Manabe Garden.' People can be so big sometimes... Anyway, without saying a word, my wife bought some eggs and I looked around for something else to eat. I quickly found 'Obara Pan' and checked it out. There were some options with cheese, and my wife suggested trying the cheese bread. I said anything was fine as long as she chose it since she was going to eat it. The bread felt soft to the touch, and my wife tried it first, saying, 'It's fluffy.' She also mentioned that it was a bit salty, maybe because of the cheese. The cheese was lightly sprinkled on top, and indeed, the bread was slightly salty and fluffy, just as my wife described. It wasn't overly salty, but having just one piece was a good call. It was a bread that made me think, 'It's a good thing we only got one.'"
