I visited "Okinawa Cuisine Nankurunaisa" on the B2F of the Otemachi Building. I can’t recall what store used to be here. It opened in July 2024. They have "Orion Draft Beer" for an astonishing price of just 290 yen! It claims to be the "cheapest in Tokyo‼️" and I believe it; I’ve never heard of beer being that cheap! I had to try it! Here’s what I ordered: - Fried octopus 550 yen - Purple sweet potato croquettes 280 yen each (2 ordered) - Sea grape and cheese omelet 780 yen - Butter soy sauce flavored curly potato fries 780 yen - Goya champuru 770 yen - Fu champuru 660 yen - Okinawa-style yakisoba 780 yen The fried octopus was crunchy and delicious, perfect with the Orion draft beer. The purple sweet potato croquettes had a smooth and creamy filling. The sea grape and cheese omelet was bursting with flavor from the popping sea grapes and melty cheese. The curly potato fries with butter and soy sauce were a bit too salty for my taste, and the soy sauce was strong. It felt quite overpowering. Goya champuru and fu champuru are similar but have their differences. The bitterness of the goya was pleasantly refreshing. The noodles in the Okinawa-style yakisoba were made from soba noodles, and they were tasty. The dishes were in compact portions, allowing me to try a variety of flavors.

I was able to fill up for 980 yen by ordering the Goya Champuru set meal, which comes with a mini Okinawa soba. The flavor is quite strong, making the rice go well with it. The restaurant is located in the Otemachi Building, conveniently connected to the station. Although it gets crowded during lunch hours, the turnover is quick, and I was seated right away. The interior is cozy, with Okinawan music and decorations that create a nice atmosphere, making it comfortable to relax. There’s also a counter, so it’s easy to go in alone. Thank you for the meal!

I was wandering around looking for a place to have dinner alone when I came across this restaurant. I ordered the goya champuru and the daily egg over rice. The goya champuru had just the right seasoning and was delicious on my empty stomach. The egg over rice had soft braised pork on top. It was a bit on the salty side, but I enjoyed it very much.

When you can enjoy home-style cooking amidst the hustle and bustle of Otemachi, it truly brings a sense of calm, even if just for a moment. I visited for lunch with a companion. The decor with Okinawan touches gives it a touristy vibe, which makes the place feel a bit cramped, but with just two people, it feels cozy like a casual eatery. The service is fairly quick. I wished there was a set that included just soba and champuru, but I also wanted to try the rice and champuru combination, so I can’t really complain! The prices are quite reasonable for this area, in my opinion.

I was craving Okinawan cuisine again, so I decided to stop by after work. I ordered Soki soba and Jimami tofu. The noodles were thick and chewy, the pork was tender and melt-in-your-mouth, and the broth was full of flavor and delicious—I even finished it all. There are many side dishes available, making it a convenient place for gatherings and drinking sessions.

This is an Okinawan izakaya located underground in Otemachi. The interior is filled with Okinawan posters, lanterns, shisa statues, and bottles of habu sake, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of Okinawan dishes, but the space is somewhat small, so I think it’s more suitable for drinking rather than dining in the evening. Thank you for the meal!

In July 2024, an Okinawan restaurant opened in the food court on B2F of the Otemachi Building, located within the Tokyo Metro Otemachi Station. I was on a business trip to Otemachi this day and thought about having lunch, but I found I didn't have much time. So I decided to quickly grab a bite at the nearby building's food court. As expected in the heart of Tokyo, many of the popular restaurants were full, but this one had relatively shorter lines, so I decided to wait in line. It took about 5 minutes to get in. **Order Details:** - Okinawa Soba (900 yen) with a mini Jushi rice on the side. Since time was tight, I opted for the Okinawa soba, which seemed to be served quickly. It was very nice that the Okinawan-style mixed rice came at no extra charge. True to my expectations, the dish was served in about 5 minutes. As usual, I recommend checking the details in the photos, but at first glance, it looked just like traditional Okinawa soba. The main toppings included two pieces of Rafute (braised pork belly), shredded egg, kamaboko (fish cake), and plenty of red ginger for color. The side of Jushi rice also had finely sliced seaweed and a good amount of pork, making it quite filling. Let’s dig in—I can say, “Wow! This tastes familiar and comforting.” The broth had a strong flavor from the bonito stock. The Rafute was tender and full of flavor, making it delicious. I enjoyed altering the taste with some Ko-lee guu-s (a type of hot pepper sauce) available on the table. The mixed rice had some areas where the sauce hadn't reached, but overall it had a solid taste. It paired well with the soup and left me feeling quite satisfied. The restaurant was a great find for a quick lunch under 1000 yen in this area. The set meals, which included a small Okinawa soba, would be perfect for office workers. Additionally, it seems like they have a good selection of drinks for the evening, so I look forward to returning for a light night out. Thank you for the meal!

The daytime atmosphere in Otemachi is amazing. There are tall buildings, and although people are around, it feels quite crowded. Among the many shops trying to attract the bustling crowd, most are quite appealing. Amidst this, I found a place with relatively short lines. Given that it's still quite hot, the choice of light soba, especially Okinawa soba, was enticing. Plus, the price being under 1000 yen is great. I ordered the Okinawa soba set with juicy rice. My colleague mentioned that the soba has a fish dashi, probably from bonito. It's light and delicious, and the pork is tender. Very nice. I could have used more pickled ginger as a topping. The juicy rice had some parts that were not well-coated with sauce, which was a bit disappointing, but it served its purpose for filling me up. By the time I left, there was already a line. There are still many untried places nearby, so I feel like there’s plenty more to explore for lunch.

During my business trip to Tokyo, I visited an Okinawan restaurant located in Otemachi Building around 1 PM. I ordered the Goya Champuru set meal, which comes with a small serving of Soki Soba. Goya Champuru is delicious, especially in the summer. The Soki Soba is also light and refreshing, making it a nice complement to the meal.

I went to a restaurant during my lunch break. It's a place I occasionally visit where you can enjoy Okinawan cuisine at a good price. That day, I ordered the Goya Champuru set meal, which came with a side of Okinawa soba— a really great deal. The broth of the Okinawa soba was delicious, and I finished it all. I'll definitely come back again.

During the Obon season, many shops were temporarily closed, including my regular spot, so I decided to try a new place. It's located in the basement of a large office building, and by noon, it was filling up quickly with many business people. I ordered the Okinawa soba (large) from the menu. After a few minutes, both the Okinawa soba and a small portion of jushi were served. The seasoning was just right—not too strong—allowing the flavor of the broth to shine through, making it delicious. The noodles had the unique texture characteristic of Okinawa soba, and the meat served with it was lightly seasoned, making it easy to eat without overwhelming the dish. The jushi had a robust flavor, and even a small amount provided a nice accent. I felt it was worth a return visit.

I finally got to visit a new restaurant that just opened in July! I love Okinawan cuisine, so I thought everything would be delicious, but I started with the classic goya champuru. It was delicious! It came with a mini-sized portion of soki soba as well, making it a satisfying dish.

I visited a new place in Otemachi to give it a try. It feels like they brought Okinawa right here. The staff also seem to be from Okinawa. I had the Goya Champuru set meal, and I was happy that it came with a mini Okinawa soba. The portion was on the smaller side, so I found myself wanting a bit more. It’s a place where I’d love to nibble on things like mimiga and rafute while enjoying a draft beer! I’d definitely want to stop by on a hot night.

While walking through the underground of Otemachi, I discovered a newly opened restaurant that caught my attention. It has a vibrant and lively atmosphere, unlike anything in this area, as it specializes in Okinawan cuisine. The interior is very colorful and cheerful, making excellent use of the space, even featuring a standing drinking area. Since it was my first visit, I ordered the Okinawan soba with a mini rice dish set, and it was delicious. The flavors were light, the meat was hearty, and the rice had a subtle hint of garlic. It was just the right choice for when you're in the mood for soba but are also tempted by Okinawan flavors. The staff were lively and energetic, providing a nice escape from work for a little while. I look forward to returning for dinner next time!

I happened to stop by the Otemachi Building on Saturday and came across this new restaurant! I was drawn in by their lunch deal for just 500 yen. About ten minutes later, my order arrived. Even though this was a special opening price, the large portion of rafute (braised pork belly) was satisfying, and the noodles were perfectly chewy and crunchy. I really enjoyed my meal. I hope they thrive in the future! Highly recommended!

First Visit: 202407 (No. 5613) 1. Purpose of Visit: I visited to gather information about restaurants in the Otemachi area for dinner options. 2. Restaurant Information: - Tabelog Genre: Okinawan Cuisine, Izakaya, Seafood - Opened on July 3, 2024 - A traditional Okinawan izakaya to enjoy the essence of Okinawa - Business Hours: Monday to Friday: 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM, 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM Saturday: 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM - Closed on Sundays and Holidays - Seating Capacity: 22 seats 3. Crowdedness and Atmosphere: I visited around 6:45 PM on a weekday, and the restaurant was about 50% full; it had the atmosphere of an Okinawan izakaya. 4. Customer Service: The service was standard and followed the usual protocols. 5. Ordered Items: I ordered the Fried Chicken Set for 1,180 yen. Most diners were enjoying drinks with Okinawan dishes like “Goya Champuru,” but this restaurant also offers dinner sets, so I chose the mentioned item. It arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. The fried chicken, prepared with Okinawa salt, was coated in a sweet and savory sauce, served hot and juicy—it was excellent! This set also included a mini Okinawa soba and rice, providing great value for the price. The rice was freshly cooked, and the soba was hot, making it a perfect meal. I think I’ll try the "Goya Champuru Set" next time. Thank you for the meal!

I went to check out the place that opened on July 3rd. They were holding an opening event with Okinawa soba for 500 yen, and there was quite a line (around 1:40 PM). By the way, during the second phase of the opening event, Orion beer will be available for 100 yen. The interior was decorated with lanterns and looked bright and cute. There were also Shisa statues and Habu sake on display, adding to the Okinawa vibe. The counter has six seats, and there are tables that can accommodate around 14 to 16 people, along with standing drink areas. And the food… the meat soba was incredibly delicious…!! This is the real deal… The meat on top was so tender, seriously melt-in-your-mouth. They said it’s braised for hours, and what’s on top of the Okinawa soba is “rafute,” which is from the dinner menu. The meat soba also comes with a “mini jushi rice.” I thought “mini…?” because it was actually the size of a regular rice bowl (laughs). I wondered what jushi rice was, and it turned out to be a delicious seasoned rice with tasty meat mixed in. That was also really good. The lunch was very filling and a great value, so I thought the cost performance was excellent, but it might be a bit too much for women. Next time, I think I’ll go for the regular Okinawa soba. I’ve definitely found a wonderful place that I will be returning to! 【Basic Information】 - Located on the B2 floor of Otemachi Building (Floor Number 23) - Counter seating, table seating, and standing areas available - Lunch service available - No smoking inside the restaurant - No parking available (There are nearby coin parking options)

The fried chicken was incredibly delicious! The souki soba had round, smooth noodles. Personally, I prefer flatter, wavy noodles. I want to try other menu items, but I might end up getting the fried chicken again!
