●●Waiting Situation●●
I arrived at the restaurant at 1:30 pm on a holiday! There are 5 people waiting outside. I was seated 5 minutes later!
●●Order●●
I ordered the "Special Tantanmen" for 1100 yen + "Fried Rice" for 350 yen!

┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
●●Soup●●
The soup has just the right amount of spiciness and numbing sensation. It has a rich meaty flavor and depth, making it quite delicious♪( ´θ`) It's not mind-blowing, but it's like the ideal taste of a local Chinese-style Tantanmen. If it were nearby, I would definitely be a regular customer.
●●Noodles●●
The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles with a chewy texture and delicious taste!
●●Chashu●●
The chashu consists of two large slices of pork chashu! It's incredibly delicious with a balance of fatty sweetness and pork umami(*´ω`*) This type of chashu is really tasty!
●●Toppings●●
The green onions, minced meat, and flavored egg are all delicious, of course! The minced meat goes really well with the Tantanmen.
●●Side Menu●●
The side menu fried rice is extremely delicious! You definitely should order it! It has a well-balanced seasoning, fluffy rice, and a strong pork flavor, making it a fantastic fried rice^_^ Surprisingly, there are not many well-balanced fried rice dishes like this one. It's one of the most delicious ramen shop fried rice dishes in Osaka, after Sodaiho-san's.
●●Overall Impression●●
Despite being far from the station, it's understandable why this restaurant has high ratings. I think it's a local favorite! Thank you for the meal♪

I visited this popular ramen restaurant in Takatsuki City for lunch as my second stop of the day. I arrived a little after 11:30 AM and was able to be seated right away, even though the restaurant was almost full. The interior had a typical ramen shop atmosphere with about 4 counter seats and around 20 table seats. I ordered the "Soupless Dan Dan Noodles for 1000 yen" this time. It arrived in about 4 minutes with toppings like soft-boiled egg, minced meat miso, myoga, shiso, and green onions, along with nuts on the side. However, I felt that the various spices didn't stand out much, leaving me slightly unsatisfied. Also, both the spiciness and numbing sensation were on the mild side, as I, someone who is sensitive to numbness, felt. The medium-thick noodles didn't have any remarkable features, but the change in flavor due to the shiso was interesting. Personally, I prefer dan dan noodles with more layers of spice. Maybe the spicy dan dan noodles would have suited me better. Thank you for the meal.

I had the warm mixed soba and fried rice set for lunch. This was my second visit. The restaurant is located in a residential area with many apartment buildings, and it is quietly tucked away. The noodles were slightly thick, and the minced meat had a rich miso flavor with a perfect touch of myoga and shiso leaves as accents. I once again felt like coming back. I visited around 11:30 for lunch and was able to get a seat smoothly, but shortly after that, several groups arrived and had to wait. It seems like they may suddenly close at times, so it might be a good idea to call ahead if you have the time.

Arrived at 11:20 on a weekday. The restaurant was full and there was one person waiting outside. Soon after, I entered. Received my dish at 11:25.
- Dan Dan noodles without spicy soup, mild, 1,000 yen (tax included)
I had never tried Dan Dan noodles without spicy soup before, so this time I decided to go for it, but with mild spiciness. The dish does not come with a soft-boiled egg or pickled ginger. It looked quite spicy. The medium-thick curly noodles were mixed well with the sauce at the bottom of the bowl. The numbing sensation was more intense than the spiciness. It was delicious. If this is mild, I can't imagine how spicy the regular Dan Dan noodles would be. I also added the nuts provided on the side for texture, and added a bit of garlic for extra flavor. I wanted to add rice at the end, but resisted the temptation. I finished it in no time. Even after leaving the restaurant, I still felt a tingling sensation around my mouth. The place was constantly busy, indicating its popularity. Due to a shortage of staff, it seems that they will only be open for lunch for the time being (11:00-14:30, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). It was delicious, thank you for the meal!

Last time it was the spicy tantanmen... and this time it's the cold tantanmen. It's been too long between visits to know which one I prefer... Both are spicy and numbing but... both are undeniably delicious. Thank you for the meal. #Mencho-Kayan #Kayan #Soupless Tantanmen #Noodles #Lunch

+++++++++++++++Sauceless Tantanmen (Cold) 1000 yen++++++++++++++The toppings include meat miso, white negi (leek), myoga (Japanese ginger), perilla leaves, and a hot spring egg. Served with nuts and minced garlic on the side. The noodles are slightly wavy medium-thick straight noodles.

Visit Day: Thursday
Arrival Time: Arrived around 11:25
Weather: Sunny
Number of People Waiting: Two groups of 4
Inside the Restaurant: Full
Upon Leaving: Full, with 6-7 people waiting outside. Waited about 9 minutes from lining up to receiving the dish.
++++++++++++++Visited this nearby restaurant with highly praised noodles. Now, onto the tasting: The spicy kick, combined with the flavors of perilla leaves and myoga, creates an exquisite harmony that becomes addictive. Enjoying the chewy texture and firmness of the cold noodles is a special privilege. The umami of the meat miso, the crunchiness and aroma of the nuts, and the richness of the hot spring egg are simply irresistible. Around halfway through, I added about 3 scoops of minced garlic, 1 scoop of habanero from the table, and about 2 scoops of sansho pepper - spicy and flavorful! It had a punch and a junky feel, very delicious. I couldn't stop eating! Among all the tantanmen I've had, this one definitely ranks in the top five. It was so delicious, but they cleared the bowls so quickly, it was surprising! It was the best ramen restaurant I've been to. (Savoring the aftertaste...) It's understandable since they're busy. Thank you for the meal!

When it's hot, I crave spicy food. So I visited Hanen, a highly rated restaurant for tantanmen, around 1:30 pm on a weekday. There was only one person waiting. I wrote my name on the waiting list and was told, "We'll be able to seat you soon, so please go ahead and order first." I ordered the soupless tantanmen (cold) and Set A (mini fried rice). Tantanmen allows you to choose the level of spiciness, but since it was my first time at the restaurant, I chose the normal level. Shortly after, I was seated and the fried rice was served within a few minutes. As I was eating the fried rice, the tantanmen was served promptly. Both the fried rice and tantanmen were full of ingredients and very filling. I mixed in some grated garlic and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the delicious meal! I left around 2 pm, and there were two groups waiting.

Since my last visit to the branch near Takatsuki Station, I decided to try their classic soupless tantanmen. It was so spicy that sweat was pouring down the back of my head non-stop. I added some extra Sichuan pepper to suit my taste, but my wife, who doesn't like spicy food, regretted not asking for less spiciness. The parking lot in front of the restaurant can only fit about 20 cars, so it might be difficult to find a spot during peak hours. Parking is free for the first 2 hours.

I arrived 10 minutes late aiming for the 11:00 opening time, and the restaurant was already full. I was a bit disappointed, but I decided to try their normal ramen first. The restaurant also offered extremely spicy options, but this time I chose the regular ones. I ordered tantanmen and soupless ramen to share. Both dishes were well-made and not as spicy as I expected, making them easy to eat. However, after eating, I couldn't stop sweating, so I realized that tantanmen is best enjoyed in winter.

My wife went back to her hometown yesterday with our daughter, so I had lunch by myself. Today's restaurant was located in a commercial facility in UR Tomita in Takatsuki. I parked my car in the coin parking right in front of the restaurant and arrived at around 11:15 am. There were a few people waiting in line in front of the restaurant. I wrote my name on the list inside and waited. After about 10 minutes, I was seated. The restaurant wasn't very spacious, with 4 counter seats, 2 tables, and 3 tatami tables. I ordered the restaurant's specialty "soupless tantanmen (cold)" and "half fried rice". First, the fried rice arrived. It was flavorful and had a nice texture, I couldn't stop eating! Delicious. Then the "soupless tantanmen" arrived with plenty of coarse minced meat and a hot spring egg on top. It was very filling! I added the roasted peanuts from a separate plate and mixed it well. The thick and chewy medium noodles with a good bite, the mild spiciness, and the rich sauce all blended together nicely! I added some "sansho" pepper from the counter and mixed it again. The texture of the coarsely ground minced meat was also great. I was full and satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I visited during lunchtime. As expected, it was a popular restaurant, so I had to write my name on a board and wait. This time, I ordered the soup-less tantanmen (cold) with fried rice set. It was delicious when I added some sansho pepper on top. The fried rice had a simple taste but was full of flavor. Thank you for the meal.

I have been going to this restaurant for almost 10 years. They have the best tantanmen by far, whether it's with soup or without. And not to mention their unbeatable fried rice, which is beyond comparison with others. The son who works there is very strict with his staff, but it shows in the quality of the food and service. It's a bit far to drive to, but definitely worth it. The turnover is fast, so you might have to wait if you go at a busy time, but it's worth the wait.

The set of soupless tantanmen and fried rice (1300 yen) at CoCo Ichi is perfect for me, as the level 1 spiciness is just right. The half-cooked egg adds a nice flavor. There is a generous amount of meat miso that coats the noodles. The nuts served on the side also complement the dish well. The staff are friendly and quick to clear empty plates. Despite some waiting in line, the wait time is minimal.

Today's choice: Menchubo Hanen's Dan Dan noodles without soup. I came to Settsu Tomita area for work, and it seems like this is a famous shop around here. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of spicy food, but this Dan Dan noodles was the most delicious I've ever had. The sweet and rich meat miso noodles were chewy and satisfying. I can see why it's popular around here. Thank you for the meal.

This restaurant serves delicious soupless tantanmen noodles and fried rice. You can easily find a seat without waiting in line right after they open. The noodles for the soupless tantanmen can be served cold or hot, and I personally recommend the cold option. The fried rice is also very tasty with a rich flavor. Thank you for the meal!

Sichuan-style Dan Dan noodles ¥950, Soupless Dan Dan noodles (hot) ¥950, Set C +¥350. This is a popular Dan Dan noodle shop in Settsu Tomita. The soupless Dan Dan noodles are a hit, so I decided to order one of those and also try the spicy Dan Dan noodles with soup. The spicy Dan Dan noodles were really hot! There was a lot of minced meat with what seemed like habanero powder sprinkled on top, and when mixed, it became even spicier! Not only was it spicy, but it also had a numbing sensation, maybe due to a slight acidity. The unique aroma of the spices was a bit noticeable, but it was delicious. The noodles were thicker than I expected, not thin noodles. Personally, I preferred the soupless Dan Dan noodles in terms of taste. The addition of the soft-boiled egg and pickled ginger was tasty! It would have been even better if there was an option for thin noodles. I chose the meat miso Dan Dan rice bowl as part of the set, and it was incredibly delicious! The kimchi, minced meat, and soft-boiled egg on top of the rice made it irresistible. The seasoning of the minced meat and the balance with the rice were just right. Although it was a bit pricey for the portion size, I felt satisfied and glad I ordered it. It seemed like many others were opting for the fried rice set.

A well-known restaurant known to those in the know. The location is honestly hard to find. It was empty in both the parking lot (Times) and the restaurant around 11 am on a weekday. I ordered the most popular soupless tantanmen. Getting the large size with fried rice set was too much (⌒-⌒; ) Truly a famous restaurant. It was delicious. The pickled ginger and shiso were a nice touch (^-^) Before I knew it, I was sweating... Satisfied and full. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The mixed spicy soba was delicious! The nuts added later were a nice touch. Adding garlic made it even tastier. The fried rice was fluffy but lacked impact. The staff provided great service, making it a comfortable experience. The ramen was also delicious, and it's no surprise this place is popular.

I had heard good things about this place, so I decided to stop by after work. It's a bit far from the nearest station, so I recommend coming by car. There is a parking lot in front of the store, and if you show your parking ticket, you can park for free for 2 hours. Convenient! As expected of a popular restaurant, there were about 10 people waiting even at 12:30. I filled out the reservation form next to the entrance and waited for about 10 minutes before being seated. The turnover rate is fast, which is great because it's cold outside. I ordered the most popular dish, the "soupless tantanmen". I also added the "fried chicken and medium rice" set from the three options. The tantanmen arrived first. I mixed it up and added the fried cashews from the small plate. The rich flavor, perfect spiciness, and chewy noodles were amazing. What surprised me was how the chopped shiso leaves added a perfect accent. Before the set arrived, I couldn't help but start eating. It comes with grated garlic, but I added some table-side sansho pepper for a new aroma. It was delicious. Whether with the fried chicken or the tantanmen, the rice was irresistible. I was very satisfied. I noticed a sign in the restaurant saying they clear empty plates promptly. I realized that their fast turnover is due to this efficient system. However, this doesn't mean the service is lacking in any way. It was excellent. Thank you for the wonderful meal! It was incredibly delicious!

After participating in the Takatsuki City Marathon, I went to this restaurant! There were about 12 groups of customers ahead of us, but we were seated in about 30 minutes. The seating area is spacious and the turnover seems fast. I had checked out the restaurant on Tabelog beforehand and noticed that the soupless tantanmen was particularly popular, so I ordered the soupless tantanmen in large size with a side of small rice. The person I went with ordered a regular size, but the large size was surprisingly large! As for the taste, the mint and shiso leaves added a gentle touch to the spicy tantan flavor, making it a wonderful ramen dish. Honestly, I couldn't really tell the difference between tantanmen dishes at different restaurants, but this place is different! I think it's a restaurant that stands out. If you can't handle spicy food, I recommend ordering something else. I personally enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the meal.

Men's Kitchen Hanen in Takatsuki's Tomita Danchi is a popular spot for tantan men, and it was my first visit in a while. It's a bit of a trek from the Hankyu Tomita Station, taking over 20 minutes by train, but during lunch hours on weekends, you can expect to wait for over 30 minutes due to its popularity. However, on weekdays, you can eat without waiting in line. This time, I ordered the default tantan men with thick noodles, which seems to be a popular choice. The soup-less tantan men is quite spicy, making you sweat just the right amount. The sweet and spicy minced meat is perfectly balanced. They also offer free parking at the Times parking lot on the premises, so visiting by car is recommended. Thank you for the delicious meal.
