I stopped by in Nayoro and found a beautiful house-style cafe. The service was polite, but the quiet atmosphere was slightly awkward due to the lively conversations of the staff in the back of the shop. The sandwich was nothing special but tasty. The cake was rich and delicious, showing that they are truly a cake shop. Located on the outskirts of town, it had a bit of a local feel, but overall, it was just a nice cafe with delicious cakes.

Located in the outskirts of Nayoro City, amidst a rural landscape, is a small brick-built shop. Previously, it seemed to only sell cakes, but last October, a café was added, making it a place where you can also enjoy lunch. I decided to have lunch there. I ordered Lunch Set C, which consisted of "Egg Yolk Tartar Croissant Sandwich". There is also a set that includes just a drink, but since I wanted to try their delicious cakes, I opted for the set that included a drink and a cake (1,490 yen). I chose "Iced Café au Lait" as my drink, and for the cake, I selected "Café Caramel Noisette" from the showcase (the drink is served with the cake after the meal). The Croissant Sandwiches were a combination of two types, accompanied by a salad. The "Egg Yolk Tartar Sandwich" had a homemade tartar that was fluffy and delicious. The avocado sandwiched inside paired well with the croissant. The other sandwich was the "Black Pepper Salted Ham Sandwich", which consisted of salted ham, tomato, and cheese, a perfect match for the croissant. The salad featured vegetables from a nearby farm, including sweet cherry tomatoes and corn. The Café Caramel Noisette cake was beautifully decorated with a tuile, chocolate sauce, and nuts. The caramel mousse inside was sweet with a hint of bitterness, and the sponge was light and fluffy. The Ice Café au Lait had a clean layering of milk and coffee. The shop had two friendly female staff members, and their excellent customer service left a positive impression on me!
