I have lived in Kiyota Ward for over twenty years, but this is a restaurant I discovered for the first time on Tabelog. Even though I have acquaintances nearby, I didn't know there was a restaurant in this location. It seems like this place has been in business for over 40 years. I ordered the soy sauce ramen (600 yen including tax) with ingredients like chashu, wood ear mushrooms, menma, and chopped green onions. The interior of the restaurant looks dark and black, but the soy sauce soup with a hint of ginger was surprisingly smooth and not too strong. The noodles were just right, not too hard or too soft, and they complemented the soup well. It was a delicious old-fashioned Sapporo ramen. I also want to come back to try the yakisoba and curry rice. Thank you, Seiryu, for the meal!

This is a ramen shop located in a residential area in Kiyota Ward in February 2017. It is a one-story building converted into a restaurant, with parking space for about 4 cars. The area has been cleared of snow, and the roads are wide and easy to navigate. Inside, there are counter seats and raised seating areas. I ordered the usual soy sauce ramen, which was prepared quickly by the efficient female owner. The soup had a fragrant ginger aroma and a rich soy sauce flavor without any animal-like odor. The noodles were curly and had a good firm texture. The bean sprouts were crunchy, the bamboo shoots were soft, and the char siu was well seasoned. It was delicious, and after finishing, I was offered a cup of coffee. I was told that this ramen shop has been in business for 41 years. Thank you for the meal! ✿ฺ(๑´ڡ`๑)✿ฺ.

This is a place in Kiyota, commonly known as Kiyota Danchi. "Ramen Seiryu" is not registered on Tabelog, located in a residential area off the main street, a ramen shop known mostly to locals. I parked in front of the shop and entered, greeted by the elderly lady running the place. I ordered the "Shio Ramen" from the menu on the wall and sat at the counter. The spring sunlight filled the warm shop, with high school baseball playing on the radio. The steaming bowl arrived after about 10 minutes, topped with plenty of boiled bean sprouts. The soup was hot but quite mild, a salt-based chicken broth with a hint of ginger. The medium-thick curly noodles were slightly soft, and the toppings included boiled bean sprouts, green onions, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, and firm pork belly chashu. Although the flavor was light, it was still satisfying. To finish, a cup of coffee was served, which was a pleasant surprise. There are still many hidden dining spots along Nemadori Street, and I will share more reviews in the future.
