I heard that the popular Sushi Tofuji from Kyoto has opened a second location in Osaka's Ura-Namba, so I went there right away! You must try their signature dish, the "Kimi to Maguro wo Dakishimetai Maki." With egg yolk, salmon roe, and tuna, it bursts in your mouth with a rich, juicy flavor that is absolutely delicious \(//∇//\). You can enjoy authentic sushi made with high-quality fish delivered from all over the country, paired with a blend of Edo-style red vinegar and Kansai-style rice vinegar for the rice, all at izakaya prices (o^^o). This time, I ordered a la carte, including the chef's choice of five pieces of sushi and some oden, which was just as delicious as the sushi (^o^). They also have drinking plans starting from 5,500 yen, and a sushi all-you-can-eat option (served until you say "stop") available for 5,000 yen, perfect for those who want to indulge in lots of sushi! It's great that the Ura-Namba location is easier to get to than Kyoto (＾ω＾). I will definitely go back to eat again!☆☆☆

The grilled eel with butter was delicious, as the butter melted in my mouth and paired perfectly with the eel. The service was great, making it a very pleasant experience!

However, once we got going, the food and drinks were served smoothly. The first dish that came out was grilled eel with butter, and it was fantastic. For women, the amount served in 90 minutes might be a bit too much, but I believe it's a satisfying portion for men as well.

The simmered fish of the day was salmon, which I thought was unusual, but it was rich and tasty. The sushi was not the casual kind you find at a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant; it was made with proper, well-prepared sushi rice just like at a traditional sushi restaurant. It was also very good. This area has many nice bars, but if you're looking for a pleasant place to enjoy good food while having conversations, this restaurant would be a great choice.

After finishing work, I headed to Namba... Today, I went to "Ura Namba Sushi to Fuji" with my colleagues. We ordered the "Akafuji Course with All-You-Can-Drink (5500 yen)." We started off with a toast over lemon sour! The dishes included: - A three-piece sashimi platter - A five-piece selection of sake snacks - Grilled seasonal fish - Simmered fish head prepared like in a sushi restaurant - Grilled eel with butter - Oversized tuna taco rolls - A five-piece selection of aged tuna sushi We enjoyed plenty of drinks to complement the food, including lemon sour, highballs, and coke highballs!

I reserved a course at Akafuji. The drinks were not all-you-can-drink but were ordered individually, which made it a bit pricey, yet I was satisfied with the experience for 3,500 yen. Personally, I think it would have been even better if there were a soup included with the sushi. The waitress provided attentive service, and the restaurant had a nice, bright atmosphere. At Sushi Tofuji in Kintetsu Nipponbashi, I was called here by my child. After climbing the stairs and entering the restaurant, I found a clean interior with a long counter and table seating. It was just after 7:10 PM, and there were a few people at the counter and one group at a table. The restaurant was managed by a team of two young women. I started with a beer and ordered some dishes including Awaji onion with shirasu (whitebait), shrimp tempura with mayo, Banshu Akou Samurai oysters, and fried oysters. Each time I ordered from the chef, the toppings changed. The chef also served a special five-piece sushi set, and the young lady explained each piece to me. Aside from tuna, each item lived up to its name (laughs). For my child, a special "Demon King Rock" sushi was prepared, which included a piece of tuna that she could hold before it was wrapped. After waiting a bit, it arrived, and she hugged it (and then wrapped it). They placed ikura (salmon roe) on top right before my eyes, and I got a piece to taste (laughs). I also ordered a bone cracker, which was my own choice. When I asked for a mountain of wasabi with my simmered red snapper, the kitchen staff member proudly smiled. The young lady asked, "Shall we reduce it?" and I confidently replied, "Bring it on!" ( ‘-^ )b. For the second round of the special five-piece sushi set, I noticed not much had changed, so I decided to order what I really wanted. Since I had already ordered tuna once, they gave me some again (laughs). I also had eel and salmon, plus a special egg for kids (laughs). The restaurant is new, very clean, and lively. The staff members are friendly, encouraging guests to enjoy their drinks. The atmosphere feels welcoming. The food is delicious and offers good value for money. The sushi is made with red vinegar, and the rice is not too big, while the fish topping is substantial and tasty.

I went to a sushi restaurant in Namba that turned out to be quite expensive with sushi quality that left much to be desired. So, to cleanse my palate, I decided to visit this place. I had been to the Kyoto branch before, but this was my first visit to the Osaka location. The sushi made with red vinegar had an exquisite temperature that really enhanced the flavors of the ingredients. I got the impression that they place a lot of emphasis on temperature. They also have a great selection of sake, which is heaven for a fan of alcohol like me. Most importantly, the female staff were incredibly friendly and had great communication skills. I was dining alone, but I had a wonderful time thanks to their warmth! They even made an effort to help me connect with the customer sitting next to me, making it a fantastic evening overall!

The熟成本マグロ中トロ, wagyu sirloin, assorted sashimi (three types), ikura (salmon roe), and bone crackers are all delicious. Sushi truly is amazing. I go for the classic choices of medium fatty tuna and ikura. And then the wagyu sirloin, which is also a top-tier land creature choice. Naturally, the satisfaction level is incredibly high. The sake goes down smoothly. The sashimi and bone crackers are delicious as well, making the sake even more enjoyable. I would definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal!

I visited because I wanted to eat sushi. I arrived a little early and was informed that during happy hour, highballs or unsweetened chuhai are available at a discount. They also kindly recommended items from the menu. The five-piece assorted nigiri changes its contents with each order, so I was advised to try that. When I ordered the medium fatty tuna nigiri, they brought me what they called large fatty tuna instead. Everything was truly delicious. However, the bone chips were a bit disappointing... Nevertheless, it was a great experience. The red vinegar nigiri was especially tasty.

Also, there were children at the restaurant, and one kid was crying the whole time… It wasn't just regular crying; it was more like screaming and it lasted for over an hour, so I wished the staff would have addressed it.

This time it was super crowded, so I ordered an assorted appetizer and a sashimi platter. As usual, the sashimi was delicious with my draft beer! Then I switched to sake. I found a restaurant that offers a special sushi course limited to five groups per day for ¥5000, which I discovered on TikTok. Even though it was peak summer vacation season, I was able to easily make a reservation. I had some trouble finding the closest station exit and ended up asking a nearby staff member. Instead of heading for exit "27," I needed to go to exit "B27," so be careful not to mix them up because it leads you in the opposite direction. As for the course menu, you'll see that it includes two types of appetizers, three types of sashimi, steamed egg custard, simmered fish, sushi, rolled sushi, and hand rolls — all served continuously until you say to stop. I was chatting so much that I ended up eating more than using my chopsticks, and I kept enjoying the food until the time was up. At the end, they also served red miso soup and ice cream, all of which were absolutely delicious. Personally, I would have preferred to have the red miso soup with the sushi. The interior of the restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was delicious, and the service from the staff was excellent, so I would definitely consider going back. Next time, I might just try one of their individual dishes instead.

I went for a daytime drink in Namba. It's located to the east of Namba Station, towards Nipponbashi, right near Datadachi, and it's on the second floor of a yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurant. The interior is new, spacious, and beautiful, featuring a large goldfish tank. I wonder if they take orders for goldfish? During the day, highballs are just 200 yen. The sashimi and sushi are also quite affordable, and the quality isn't bad. It's a place where you can sit comfortably and it's quiet, making it a good spot to relax, especially when your feet hurt. I'll definitely want to visit again.
