During the holiday lunch, while the market was closed, this place was open. I think the taste is good, but there's a mismatch with the prices. I'm left wondering if they're aiming for inbound tourists. The sushi rice was delicious, and the salmon and tuna were tender.

The popular restaurant in the market had a long line, and as I was hesitating whether to wait, I discovered this place across the street. I learned that they offer bowls made with fish from Uosou, located within the market. There’s also an eat-in space on the second floor, and I was able to get a seat right away. It seemed like they were operating with just one person that day, so it took a little time after placing my order, but at 1980 yen for the medium fatty tuna bowl, it was quite reasonable. The medium fatty tuna was very delicious, and it paired well with the vinegared rice. Thank you for the meal!

Just a 3-minute walk from Daikokucho Station, there is a fish wholesale-operated diner at the entrance of Kizu Market. The first floor has two boxes made from oil barrels, seating a total of eight people. The second floor has boxes that can accommodate around 30 people. Despite the rain due to the typhoon, this restaurant was open while others were closed. In this situation, I was the only Japanese customer among all the foreign tourists (laughs). Since there was no wind and only a light rain, I decided to go, but this is a first for me. Anyway, I just wanted to eat quickly and go home. I ordered the "Three-Flavor Bowl" for 2000 yen. It was fresh and had a nice sushi vinegar taste. I wished I could have enjoyed it with a beer though. The portion felt a bit lacking, and the dishware was flimsy, even below convenience store standards. It was the same kind of container you get when eating pork soup at a neighborhood association event. I wasn’t fully satisfied and thought I could eat another bowl. So, I added a "Crab Bowl" for 1700 yen. The crab claws were delicious. Considering its proximity to the market, the prices weren't bad, but in terms of portion size, it was about the same. I definitely ate too much since the morning. I'm so full now. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at Kizuhama Market a bit past 9 AM. While other shops had closed, this one was still open, so I decided to give it a try. Compared to others, the prices were on the higher side. I ordered a salmon bowl for 1,700 yen, plus a miso soup and tea set for 300 yen, and a three-kind bowl for 2,750 yen, also with a miso soup and tea set for 300 yen. The taste was particularly delicious, especially the fatty tuna and salmon. If only the prices were lower...

Just a few minutes from Daikokucho Station, right across from the Kizu Wholesale Market. Even before 11:30, the sushi shops and seafood bowl places inside the market had long lines or were already sold out, while this place was quite empty. The presentation of the dish was unfortunately disappointing, but there was a generous portion of high-quality medium fatty tuna, so I was satisfied with the contents for the price. Tea and miso soup are charged separately.

I went to Kizu Wholesale Market at noon on the weekend! However, I didn’t know it closed at 11 AM, so most shops were already closed ( ; ; ). I went to Kizu Uosho, which is located in front of the market. It was open until 2 PM, so I was able to enter the shop (^_^;). While you can't sit down to eat, there is a takeout option. I wanted to eat eel, so I ordered that, and they also offered a free sashimi choice, so I picked shrimp! The eel was ¥800, and it even came with the shrimp! You need to help yourself to wasabi, soy sauce, the seafood rice bowl sauce, and chopsticks. They even provided miso soup and a bottle of tea for free, making it a great deal! They warmed up my bento for me. The eel was big, tender, and delicious! There was plenty of rice, so it was very satisfying. The sweet shrimp was incredibly tasty. Everything was fresh, the price was good, and it was an amazing experience overall. Thank you for the meal! w

I went to KizU Wholesale Market for a three-sushi bowl (tuna, salmon, scallops, and salmon roe), but to my surprise, it was closed on Wednesday. Only one shop was open, but since it didn't fit my schedule, I reluctantly went to a direct wholesale shop across the street. The prices seemed a bit high.
