Parent-child bowl set meal.

2014/4/24 Revisited today, my wife didn't make me a bento box, so I have to go out for lunch. I'm not feeling well today, so I decided to have something gentle on my stomach. I chose to have soba noodles because they are easier on the stomach than ramen. I arrived at the restaurant around 12:18, and I ordered the "Tanuki Don" set, which I had never tried before. The soba noodles were delicious, and the Tanuki Don was interesting with its crispy tempura topping. The set was reasonably priced at 700 yen and the portion was generous. I enjoyed the meal and would like to try other dishes from the restaurant. The soba noodles here are really good, and I will definitely come back. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

When driving along Route 234, I stumbled upon a soba restaurant that I remembered being around here. It's best to turn at the Kurisawa Junior High School as a landmark. Since it's not located directly on the highway, it seems that not many passersby stop by for soba. This time, I ordered the Tempura Soba. After looking at the menu later, I saw something called "Tanuki Don" and wondered what it was. Perhaps a bowl topped with tempura? As for the Tempura Soba, the tempura and soba dipping sauce were served separately, which was a pleasant surprise. The tempura seemed to have been fried in sesame oil due to its dark color, but it didn't seem to be the case. The soba noodles were thick, and the dipping sauce seemed quite ordinary.
