Today, I was invited by my former colleagues to play golf at a place I had never been before. The facility was quite old and seemed to have been bustling in the past. However, it was very affordable, which was convenient for me as I don't have any particular preferences. ★Date of Visit★ July 27, 2014 (Sunday) / Afternoon ★Purpose★ Meal after golf ★Order★ Anka Yakisoba (850 yen) ★Order to Service Time★ About 15 minutes ★Impression of the Dish★ I thought it might be too salty at first, but it was just right. It had plenty of seafood like shrimp and squid. The consistency of the sauce was a bit loose, making it easy to eat. The portion was quite generous, but I managed to finish it as I was hungry after playing golf all morning. It was delicious, and I also enjoyed the cold water. ★Recommended Point!!★ It's incredibly cheap. Compared to other golf course meals, the prices here are about 2/3 to half the price. The pricing is fair, similar to a regular cafeteria. It was a very enjoyable day overall (^-^)

This time, I visited the restaurant at the Shin-Sapporo-dai Golf Club @ Kurioka. This was my first visit to this course. When I arrived, the exterior gave me a sense of history, almost like from before the bubble era??? When I entered the clubhouse, the high ceiling felt nice without being oppressive, but the lobby area with empty sofa seats felt a bit lonely. When I went to the locker room, there were several objects that gave off a historical vibe. As for the play itself... since this is a food review, I will skip that part, but I enjoyed golfing with my friends. After playing, we went to the restaurant. The restaurant had a somewhat historical atmosphere. Looking at the menu, the recommended dish was "tantanmen"... Oh, tantanmen is good, but the ankake yakisoba also looked delicious... I wanted something meaty... and I found beef curry, meat soba, pork cutlet curry, ginger pork, tonkatsu... This time, I ordered the "ginger pork set @ 750 yen." It was served in a little over 10 minutes. Let's eat! The appearance was just like regular ginger pork, neatly arranged like in a diner. The ginger pork seemed to be not marinated, but the seasoning was moderate and good. It may have shrunk a bit because it wasn't sliced, but the texture of the meat was not bad. Thank you for the meal. It was a "ginger pork set" that felt like I had it at a regular diner. I will try other menu items on my next visit. Thank you for the meal.

The 27-hole hilly course in Sapporo-dai has been transformed into an 18-hole course under new management, reopening as a budget-friendly course. Despite being affordable, the course is quite challenging, serving as a great training ground to develop your skills. The most remarkable aspect of this budget-friendly option is the meal pack priced at 3,900 yen, which includes two servings without any additional charges. The course features some steep inclines and declines, making a golf cart highly recommended to avoid tiring out your legs. The pack also includes a postcard placed at the practice range near the course entrance (a little tip!). The food options are simple, with choices like Japanese-style ramen and curry rice, both satisfying and delicious. However, my performance was not great, and I ended up in tears - it was due to my skills, not the food. Overall, it was a humbling experience.
