I visited the Italian restaurant Albaronga in Shinsaibashi. The location is very convenient, just a 2-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Block Building. On the 3rd floor, there is a Michelin-starred French restaurant called "Lumiere," which is also highly recommended. The interior of the restaurant has about 20 seats, including a counter and table seating, creating a sophisticated and high-quality atmosphere. - Drinks - - Draft beer - Glass of white wine - Glass of red wine I opted for the 6000 yen course menu, which included the following dishes: - Cold corn soup with a hint of gold rush sweetness - Bread - Katsuo (bonito) carpaccio from Kesennuma - Ayu (sweetfish) confit in tomato cream sauce - Hokkaido hairy crab pappardelle - Beef tagliata served with a green salad - Dessert: mango terrine and creme brulee The course dishes were delicious, so I also added a sea urchin pasta for myself: - Spaghetti with sea urchin aio e olio (+1800 yen) Overall, the food was excellent with high-quality ingredients and skilled preparation. The desserts were also delicious. The only minor downside was that the seasoning was slightly on the salty side. The service could be improved with more friendly smiles and a better sense of distance. I have visited this restaurant before and was impressed by the food, but this time, the impression was even stronger. I believe the restaurant deserves a higher rating than the 3.57 it had on Tabelog. I recommend trying the dinner course to fully experience the restaurant's excellence. Despite being located in a nightlife district, the restaurant is a great place for dates, entertaining guests, or enjoying a drink alone at the counter. Overall, this Italian restaurant in Shinsaibashi is one of the best in Minami, Osaka. I find it puzzling why it doesn't have a higher rating. I plan to revisit soon to confirm my impressions.

Cold pasta season is here and Minami doesn't have as many Italian restaurants compared to Umeda or Shinchi. "Alvaronga" is a classy place known for its delicious wine and pasta. Their signature dish is the "Red Snow Crab and Fruit Tomato Cold Pasta." The atmosphere is casual yet elegant, with an open kitchen counter and classic table seating with Nordic furniture. Their dinner course includes appetizers, pasta, meat dish, dessert, and coffee or tea. The food is simple but made with quality ingredients that pair well with Italian wines. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall experience. The cold pasta with red snow crab is a standout, with plenty of crab meat and a delicious tomato sauce. I visited the restaurant during lunchtime. It was full, but they suggested they would contact me when a table became available, so I received a call about 40 minutes later. The course lunch, starting with a salad for 2500 yen, followed by pasta, main dish, and dessert, was of high quality. I thought it was a good value for the price. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere of the place added to the overall experience.

I used it for a friend's birthday lunch. I heard that the chilled pasta with red snow crab and fruit tomatoes was delicious, and it really was. The appetizers and main dishes were also very delicious. I ordered the lunch course, and the portion was just right. I asked in advance for a birthday surprise, and they wrote a message on the dessert plate, which made my friend very happy.

With a generous toast drink and post-meal coffee included, the total cost was 4,000 yen, which is great value. The service was polite, and I was able to stay for quite a while, making it a good choice for a girls' lunch. The toast drink selection includes a variety of non-alcoholic options like tea and ginger ale, as well as alcoholic options like sparkling wine, red and white wine, and beer. - Assorted appetizers: pumpkin, okra, eggplant, ham, carrot -> The pumpkin was delicious and creamy, with a strong olive oil flavor. A must-have for a girls' lunch! - Bread: The baguette was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, warm and delicious. - Crab and fruit tomato cold pasta: The dish had a slightly creamy tomato soup-like sauce (similar to gazpacho). It was loaded with crab and had a decent amount of noodles, around 60g estimated. - Roast pork with honey mustard, butter sautéed swordfish: You can choose between meat or fish for the main course, which can be shared if dining with multiple people. I was impressed by the ayu confit. I made a reservation for the day before the Koshien quarterfinals. I ordered the 6,800 yen course, which was really worth it. The course included: - Appetizer (abalone jelly and celeriac mousse, bonito, prosciutto melon, caprese) assortment The olive oil on the prosciutto melon was really delicious. - Ayu confit Although it may not look fancy, it was truly amazing. It was exquisite. You can eat from head to tail, with a perfect crispy texture and fluffy flesh. I want to revisit just to eat this again. - Handmade pasta with conger eel and tomato sauce The tomato sauce was well emulsified, and my husband really liked it, saying "I like this kind of pasta!" Even though I mentioned that I don't like mushrooms, having four of them in the dish was a bit... - Duck The meat was a bit salty, but it paired well with the balsamic vinegar sauce. - Dessert You can choose from several options. I chose the peach mille-feuille for an additional 600 yen. The pastry was really crispy, and after one bite, I thought "I made the right choice!" The custard and peach were both very delicious. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, not too quiet or too noisy, and we were able to enjoy our conversation. So far, this is the best restaurant in Osaka.

I went to a restaurant. It was during the Bon festival season. The website said there were almost no reservations available, but when I called, I was able to make a reservation for the same day. I had the Lucky Venice Snow Crab Pasta. It was delicious. The excitement started from the appetizer. The main dish of pork was also very tasty. I am very satisfied.

I really wanted to eat the chilled pasta with red king crab and cherry tomatoes, so I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. When my friend and I went, they served us by sharing the dishes on small plates. There is an additional charge, but many people have commented that the crab cold pasta is amazing. It was the best! It gave me goosebumps! I shivered! I want to go again!

Our restaurant has been selected as one of the top 100 Italian restaurants by Tabelog. I made a reservation for Saturday at 11:30 am. The restaurant was fully booked today. The atmosphere is decent for a casual Italian restaurant, although the space is not very large. I ordered the 3,000 yen course with a drink when making the reservation. First, the appetizer and beer arrived. The food was quite delicious. Especially the chewy pasta, which seemed to be fresh, was very tasty. The standout was the excellent customer service. They kindly provided both options for the pasta and main course instead of choosing one. The dessert and coffee, not shown in the photos, were also included in the price, making it a great value for 3,000 yen considering the taste, service, and portion size. I would definitely visit again when craving Italian food in the Shinsaibashi area. Next time, I would like to try the famous "Chilled Pasta with Red Snow Crab and Tomato" lunch course. I always go to this Italian restaurant at least once every six months. While I recommend trying the course menu, I enjoy ordering various dishes a la carte each time. One dish that I always order without fail is the Milanese-style asparagus with prosciutto and egg - it's absolutely delicious! The dishes are all served in portions for two people and come out on separate plates, which is great!

On Wednesday at 6:30 pm, I made a reservation. When I arrived, about 70% of the seats were already taken. By the time we left the restaurant at 8:00 pm, there were no new customers, so it seems like the turnover is quick on weekdays. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, somewhere between a formal restaurant and a casual trattoria. The staff were attentive and changed our utensils regularly. The open kitchen allowed us to see the chefs at work, which was great. We ordered the following dishes for two people: - Pike conger cutlet for ¥2600 - Scallop sauté with anchovy for ¥2200 - Grilled sea bream with herbs for ¥3600 - Cold pasta with red king crab and cherry tomatoes for ¥2000 - Bread (didn't ask for the price) - Draft beer (Premium) for ¥650 - Bottled beer (Moretti) for ¥700 - Glass of white wine starting from ¥650 The portions were divided into two plates each, and we were told that around 4 dishes would be enough for two people, which turned out to be true. The dishes were simple and focused on bringing out the natural flavors of the ingredients. The grilled sea bream was especially delicious. The pasta, particularly the cold pasta with red king crab, was surprisingly affordable and packed with flavor. It was a great dining experience, and I will definitely come back again.

I've been curious about this pasta for a while and finally tried it! The cold pasta with red snow crab and fruit tomato is amazing. It's filled with so much crab meat that you can really taste the crab in every bite, and the cold fresh tomato is perfect for hot summer days. The appetizers were all delicious too. It was so good that I forgot to take pictures of the main course and dessert that you can choose from. You can choose between fish and meat for the main course, and when I was having trouble deciding, the staff suggested that they could serve half of each, which was great service. The restaurant is conveniently located near the station and has a nice atmosphere without being too fancy, so it's a great place for lunch or a date with friends. ❤️❤️❤️

Whenever I go, this restaurant is always truly amazing. It was excellent again this time! The ayu cornfi was incredibly delicious. The wine, a Malamiero Altare Trebbiano, had a rich flavor that was unexpected and the oak aging was just right, a white wine that I love. The flagship menu item, the cold pasta with fruit tomatoes, was still outstanding, and this time the sea urchin cream pasta was also perfect with the wine. The winner this time was... the ayu cornfi! ✨

Today's dishes were: appetizer, cold pasta, main course (fish and meat), dessert, and coffee. I shared the main course with a friend and we enjoyed both the meat and fish dishes. It was delicious!

I went to this restaurant for my birthday. I tried a course meal and one a la carte dish, both of which were sophisticated and very delicious. The restaurant was also very beautiful, which made me a bit nervous. My daughter in middle school and I went to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary together. I wanted to let my daughter decide the menu for the day, so we opted for à la carte instead of a set course. Each dish was divided into individual portions, so with 3 people, we ordered 1.5 portions each (each dish is recommended for 2 people). The photos show the amount we were served per person. We had delicious dishes such as prosciutto and Miyazaki mango carpaccio, the famous crab and tomato cold pasta (capellini), beef tagliata, peach compote, and pistachio gelato. Although we were told to expect 5 dishes, we wanted dessert as well, so we settled for 4 dishes and were completely satisfied. Every dish was very delicious. The wine in the glasses was also tasty, and they even accommodated my request for a macchiato coffee after the meal, which was not on the menu. Since I had mentioned our 16th anniversary when making the reservation, they drew a celebration message on the dessert plate and even offered to take a photo for us, which we happily accepted. We don't have many opportunities to take family photos, so we were truly grateful for the lovely picture they took. The restaurant is easily accessible from Shinsaibashi and is recommended for special occasions or anniversaries.

This is a restaurant near my partner's favorite Harry's in Shinsaibashi that I had bookmarked for lunch. According to Tabelog, the lunch was ¥4000 (including tax, with one drink included). My partner had blood orange, and I had sparkling water. We made a reservation in advance and visited the restaurant on Saturday night with my wife, but it was fully booked. We were debating between ordering a la carte or the set course menu, when the staff kindly suggested that we could switch out dishes we didn't want in the course menu for ones we preferred. We ended up ordering the course menu and changed the pasta to a cold pasta with red snow crab. The main dishes and pasta were delicious, but the appetizers and the confit of sweetfish were also incredibly tasty. Overall, we were glad we went with the course menu. When my wife mentioned she didn't like tomato seeds, they even replaced the tomatoes in the appetizer with a different vegetable just for her. With delicious food and friendly service, we had a great time.

First visit. I made a reservation after seeing the delicious Capellini on the top image of Tabelog. I was seated at the central counter in the restaurant. I reserved à la carte, so on this day I had a platter of 4 appetizers, flounder carpaccio, abalone and celery root cream with consommé jelly, fruit tomato and mozzarella caprese, and a platter of prosciutto and figs. I ordered asparagus and prosciutto, egg Milanese, red king crab and fruit tomato cold pasta, and hand-made pasta with Italian summer truffles. I was told that about 4 dishes would be enough to fill me up, but I wanted to try the pasta so I deliberately skipped the main course and chose 2 pasta dishes. All the appetizers were delicious, but the prosciutto and figs were exceptionally tasty. The asparagus and prosciutto, egg Milanese was outstanding! The pasta dishes were both delicious, but the signature cold Capellini was the best. The wines were also recommended, with a variety of elegant, refreshing, and mineral-rich options that paired well with the dishes. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal! I will definitely go again!
