Today, the weather was stormy from the morning due to lightning and heavy rain... Hokkaido, which is vulnerable to heavy rain, seemed to have various troubles in different places. Ignoring that, I decided to have lunch at the nearby AEON where there is a parking lot with a roof. It was past 12 o'clock. I had visited here yesterday, but today it was quite empty. I headed straight to the restaurant on the 3rd floor food court that caught my eye yesterday. There were a few customers ahead of me, but I only had to wait for a few minutes. I decided to order the beef steak bowl with 150g of beef and extra noodles. The basic set was 900 yen excluding tax, and the extra noodles cost 120 yen, making a total of 1,122 yen including tax. I was given a pager and waited for about 10 minutes before it suddenly buzzed. I quickly went to the pick-up counter. The food looked just like the menu photos, with little difference. The extra noodles looked quite generous, and surprisingly, they tasted really good. They were fresh and had a nice texture. The soba soup was served in a pot and poured into a cup. The soba was delicious and had a good mouthfeel and firmness, even better than some specialty shops. It was so tasty that I finished it quickly. The soba soup was a bit cloudy, indicating its richness, which was also good. As for the steak bowl, the meat was plentiful, and the rice was well portioned. The rice alone was tasty, and the meat, although slightly chewy, was cooked perfectly. The sauce complemented the dish well. Choosing this dish was definitely the right decision. It was a great value for the price. I have a feeling that I might come back here again for this dish.

Location is Sapporo, on the 3rd floor of Aeon Hakodate store, inside the food court. It was around 18:00 on a Sunday and the food court wasn't as crowded as I expected. About half of the table seats were empty, and there were plenty of empty seats at the counter near the Ikari Steak side. I wonder if the food court isn't as busy at night? (The restaurants on the 1st floor were crowded though!) My friend ordered a mini tendon and soba set. The soba was cold and a regular size, but I forgot to take a picture (I left my phone at home). The sauce for the tendon was on the sweeter side, which I liked, and the amount of sauce was just right. I think it would be nice if they served the tempura freshly fried.

I came after a long time and the appearance of the restaurant has been renewed! I always want to eat a lot of soba and also want tempura, so I always order a mini tendon and a mini soba with extra noodles, but it fills me up quite a bit so I always leave it as it is. Anyway, it's cheap and the soba is delicious.

The stores in the building open at 9 am for restaurants and after 11 am for others. It's around 10 am now, and I decided to visit "Horokanai Seimen AEON Mall Sapporo Hassamu Store." After some hesitation looking at the menu, I chose the "Kashiwa Soba @649" and ordered with "PayPay." I received the calling bell from the lady and poured water into a paper cup, then waited at the food court for 7 minutes. I added a little spice and brought it to the table. The tempura topping is all-you-can-eat, but I didn't use it this time. The soba had a soft texture with a slight chew, and I couldn't find anything outstanding about the "Horokanai" soba. The portion was not too big, and I couldn't find any strong points to recommend it, so maybe it's better to just call it "standing soba level." The broth seemed to be a commercial type, and while it's not bad as a local soba, I didn't feel it was a good value for the price. I also added a mini soba because I must have soup with my meal. The katsudon was different from the usual, it was made with pork loin. It wasn't as saucy as I like, but the balance of sweetness and saltiness made it delicious. It was interesting to see mizuna instead of trefoil on top. As for my partner, they had the tempura bowl! The generous portion was impressive. They seemed to have enjoyed it very much!

Located in the Hassamu area of Nishi Ward, Sapporo City. This restaurant is situated on the 3rd floor of AEON Mall Sapporo Hassamu store. Opening at 9 am, it offers soba and rice bowl dishes, which is perfect for my morning activities. The spacious food court allows for a relaxed atmosphere on weekdays, but it gets very crowded during lunchtime on weekends and holidays. The restaurant recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, congratulations! I ordered the Squid Sashimi and Grated Yam Rice Bowl, along with a large serving of hot soba set which had a 100 yen discount for the anniversary. On certain days, you can also get a free upgrade to a large serving of soba. The soba noodles were surprisingly soft, almost too soft to handle. The broth had a typical taste found in Eastern Japan. It was nice to have tempura bits available for self-service. The Squid Sashimi and Grated Yam Rice Bowl was decent, but not particularly to my taste. Overall, the lack of firmness and poor texture of the noodles made it challenging to enjoy even in the hot soba. However, considering the excellent cost performance of this restaurant, it may still attract a certain level of popularity depending on the quality of the noodles. Thank you for the meal!

Sometimes I go to the Happo Ion food court and I was indecisive, so I ended up choosing the Mini Soba & Don Set with Ebi Tempura Don for 580 yen (638 yen). The tempura included 2 pieces of shrimp tempura, shiso leaf, pumpkin, and lotus root, but the shrimp tempura was weird. It didn't taste like tempura at all, more like a crispy fritter with a hint of tempura flavor. The shrimp tempura was not delicious at all, it was my first time having such disappointing shrimp tempura. The other tempura pieces were okay. The rice also didn't taste right. The soba was still delicious though, which was a relief. Maybe just getting the soba alone would be better. The tempura toppings and soba broth were self-service at the counter.

Today, I had dinner at Hokkaido Seimen after a long time. I stopped by the food court on my way back from shopping, but as always, I had trouble deciding where to eat. I walked back and forth in front of each store, and finally made a decision. However, the next challenge was deciding what to eat. After much deliberation, I ended up ordering the oyakodon set (with warm soba). The soba here has a nice firm texture when eaten cold, and a chewy texture when eaten warm, which I like. After about 5 minutes, the buzzer rang, and I picked up my order of fried egg and shichimi at the counter. The oyakodon had a refreshing sauce that made the rice alone delicious. The variety of tenants is rich, so you can enjoy not only break use but also meals and desserts at two different places. I searched and finally found Hokkainai soba. The menu is colorful and they offer a large selection. On this day, it was a large serving service day, but I asked for a regular size. However, it is too good to be true that they offer a service on top of this low price. After paying, I received a vibrating buzzer and picked up my order in about 5 minutes. The soba was served in a sieve with good ventilation. The thin soba had a good elasticity and a flavorful taste typical of the region. The water used to wash the soba was refreshing. The soup in the small cup was sweet and gentle. Condiments like green onions and grated wasabi were placed on the plate before serving, not left on the side. There were also fried tempura bits and seasonings next to the cash register. I am curious about the various sets they offer. Good cost performance. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I was given a buzzer and after about 8 minutes, my order was ready. The soba seemed to be made with soba flour from Hokkaido, but as someone not very familiar with soba, I couldn't tell what was different about it. The soba and katsudon were neither exceptional nor disappointing, but they were reasonably priced and quite filling. I think it's a good option for when you want to eat soba at a reasonable price.

It's a soba shop, but I decided on the Horokanai-made noodles. It seems to be 100 yen cheaper than usual. I ordered it and was given a buzzer to wait. Beep beep beep beep! I know it's coming, but it still makes me anxious - haha, it's bad for the heart. There's quite a lot of food. But it looks cheap somehow. I think it's because of how the egg is beaten! I think it's because they throw the egg around it. Anyway, let's dig in. The seasoning is slightly sweet, and you can taste the sugar, but it's not bad. The pork cutlet is made with frozen commercial ingredients, which is understandable, but for 400 yen, it's satisfying, I guess? If you use a 100 yen discount coupon from Katsuya, it would be the same price, so when you think about it, it feels a bit inferior. I finished every last bit, including the fluffy egg. The steak had a delicious sauce that went well with it. The meat was very tender. Chibi-san ate all of it by himself. I had the soba, adding grated daikon to it. Although it's a soba restaurant, the rice dishes here are also very delicious. If you're going to eat at the steak restaurant next door, definitely choose this one.

While shopping at Aeon, I decided to have dinner at Hokkaido Seimen, which I haven't been to in a while. When I first tried their soba in Sapporo, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was, and I have respected them ever since. I often stop by, but the menu is always overwhelming, and I end up choosing a different restaurant. However, today I made a strong decision to go to Hokkaido Seimen! I ordered the steak bowl set, which was prominently advertised outside. I usually wouldn't order a steak bowl at a soba restaurant, but something about it caught my eye today... The value for money was excellent! When something is labeled as limited quantity, I can't resist. Wow! This is delicious! The way the meat is cooked and the size of the cuts are spot on! The quality of the meat is also quite high! I feel like I've found something good! The steak sauce has a sweet sukiyaki flavor, but it goes so well with the rice soaked in the sauce. It truly was great value for money.

There were two options for the steak size, and I chose 150 grams, but they informed me that during the promotion period, they are serving 180 grams at the same price. You can choose between hot and cold soba, and I chose the hot one. After paying, they gave me a device that would beep when my order was ready. I didn't have to wait long before they called my number and brought the food to my table. The portion was generous and looked delicious. There was plenty of wasabi, which I left, but there was also grated radish to help with digestion. The meat was incredibly tender and the amount of noodles was just right. I remember there being a regular and half portion option for the noodles, and I chose the half. It was a satisfying meal.

When I come to the food court at Ion, I always have trouble deciding... I think I spent about 15 minutes, no, maybe 20 minutes deciding. I felt like eating meat, so I chose the Beef Steak Donburi 150g with a mini soba set. The last time I had soba here, the broth was too weak, and I was disappointed. But this time, the soba in the set was surprisingly delicious. The steak in the donburi is also very tender. The sauce is tasty too! There's a lot of wasabi, but when you put it on the steak and eat it, it tastes even better. The person next to me mentioned that it might not be cheap on weekends, so this steak donburi here is actually quite good! 😄

The menu is rich and the prices are wallet-friendly. I tend to choose the set meals, and I always leave satisfied. The katsudon is delicious, making me want to visit again. While Kame Seimen's katsudon is also tasty, this place offers good value for the price.

I always order the Mini Zan Tare Don and Mini Warm Soba Set at a great price. In the summer, I often order the set with cold soba noodles.

This food court has a variety of shops, but this place has excellent cost performance. They have katsudon starting from 490 yen. Also, the soba noodles have a firm texture and are delicious.
