I have visited Naka-Shunbetsu Town many times, but I never knew there was a diner in the town. I found out about it on [Tabelog] and decided to check it out. The place is called "Shirakaba." I parked my car in what I assume was the parking lot next to the restaurant and went inside. There were counter seats on the right and tables on the left. Since there were no other customers, I sat in the middle of the counter. There were sushi menu items written on the front wall and other menu items on the left wall. I ordered the "Soy Sauce Ramen" (580 yen). There was a TV, but it was turned off. The place was quite dim, and I noticed that some light bulbs were out. After waiting for 10 minutes, the ramen arrived. It looked simple. I took a sip of the soup, which was light and lacked any dashi flavor. The noodles were thin curly noodles, and the toppings included naruto, shinchiku, wakame, thinly sliced long green onions, and a chewy chashu. Overall, it was just okay.
