I visited the store during its opening hours. I heard that they have a half-price sale on Saturdays after 1 pm, but I wasn't sure what would be left by then, so I decided to visit earlier when there are more options available. They had a variety of breads, from sweet pastries to savory buns and sandwich bread, but it seemed like they didn't offer many hard breads. The breads I bought this time were: Natto Kimchi (¥160), Cheese Hamburg (¥200), and Tamago Lunch (¥170). I chose the Natto Kimchi because I was curious to see how the combination of natto and kimchi in bread would taste. It turned out to be an interesting choice. When baked in the oven, it had an ideal texture, but the cheese inside was still cold, so I think it would have been better to warm it up in the microwave for a few seconds before baking it. Despite my initial concern that the kimchi seasoning and cheese might overpower the natto flavor, it was not the case at all. The unique smell and flavor of natto were still present, complemented by the spicy kick of kimchi. The cheese was not too overpowering, making it easy to enjoy. I'm also curious about their sandwich bread, so I would like to visit again another day. Thank you for the meal.

On a certain weekday, I stopped by a bakery in Izumi-cho, Ebetsu City, which seemed to be an old-established store. The parking lot is shared in front of the store. Even if you arrive by navigation, it's hard to tell where the store is located at first glance, as it is part of a large building. Inside the store, there are simple display shelves with various traditional bread welcoming you. On this day, I chose a few items based on inspiration from the display shelf. "Bean Bread (150 yen)" is a relatively large, white bread with a soft and elastic texture, filled with plenty of sweet adzuki beans. "Buns (130 yen)" caught my attention with its unique name. It is a bread with a hollow center topped with crunchy sugar, and filled with a large amount of raisins. "Baby Anko Donuts (110 yen)" are small, sugar-coated donuts with a perfect amount of sweet red bean paste inside, making them a perfect snack. I couldn't help but notice a recently opened high-end bread shop nearby, but I have a feeling that this bakery will survive. Thank you for the delicious food.

When I was cycling with my children, I noticed a half-price bakery and decided to try it out after a long time. There were various types of bread displayed, some already discounted, but most bread was half-price after 1 pm on Saturdays. I chose three different types of bread and bought them to take home. I tried them right away. The natto kimchi bread had a good amount of natto on it, and the taste of cheese baked together was quite enjoyable. The chocolate croissant was stored in a fridge next to the register, and the staff kindly showed me where to find it. The croissant had cream inside the cuts and was coated with chocolate, not too sweet and very delicious. The sesame cheese bread had just the right amount of cheese saltiness, and it was easy to eat in bite-sized pieces. There were so many options available, so I plan to visit again and try more. Thank you for the meal.

I bought an an-donut and a bean bread at the handmade bread shop "Mogumogu" located at 60 Izumi-cho, Ebetsu City. The an-donut was 140 yen including tax, and the bean bread was 150 yen including tax. Mogumogu is located on the first floor of an apartment building, with Tsubohachi next door. Inside, there was a small entrance with a woman and her children who seemed to be helping out, welcoming us. The an-donut I was looking for was right in front, next to the cream donuts. There were quite a variety of bread types available. I enjoyed them at home. The an filling in the an-donut was not too sweet, and the dough was crispy. The dough of the bean bread was moist and chewy, with just the right amount of beans. The shop had a slightly intimidating atmosphere, but it seems to be a popular bakery in the local area. Thank you for the meal.

This is Ebetsu. I was a little hungry, so I grabbed a bread in the car before heading to my destination. I searched on Tabelog and found the closest bakery, "Mogumogu." It was a bit surprising to find a bakery in a place like this, inside a building with a long bench that seemed to be brought from somewhere. I almost decided not to go in, but I thought, "Well, even if it's a mistake, it's okay," and went inside. Surprisingly, there were many bread displayed. I noticed that the bread from the previous day was discounted, but I decided to buy some delicious-looking bread. I tried the Ham Mayo for 160 yen and the Natto Kimchi for 160 yen. First, I tried the Natto Kimchi, which might have a strong smell. The dough was a bit hard, and there were plenty of natto grains. The kimchi didn't have cabbage, it was more like a kimchi sauce spread on top with natto and cheese baked. It wasn't bad, but the natto smell was strong, not suitable for eating during work. The hard dough was also a bit off. It was definitely a wrong choice. The Ham Mayo had soft dough and a good amount of mayonnaise, it was delicious. This place is probably only known by locals. Thanks for the meal.

After disinfecting my fingers, I slipped into the small shop through the inner entrance. The staff inside were friendly and everything was reasonably priced! There were so many soft bread options to choose from. I ended up buying three items while asking for recommendations. The fluffy texture of the bread is delicious! Melon bread 140 yen, cream bread 140 yen, and white bread 250 yen. Thank you for the delicious meal! (^^)v

When I was looking for a set meal restaurant in Eniwa, I saw a sign that said "half price" and decided to stop by. Every Saturday, most breads are half price, excluding items like baked sweets and sandwich bread. When I asked the shop owner, they said, "We're closed on Sundays, so we used to give away the leftover bread to relatives, but maybe it's better to sell it..." That makes sense! I'm happy if they sell it too. I bought 5 types of bread from the remaining selection. Each bread was fluffy and had a gentle taste. My favorite was the "Double Cream Melon Bread," which was small but had both whipped cream and melon custard inside, it was delicious. I will definitely stop by again if I pass by the area. Thank you, "Mogu Mogu"!

This is a review of a stamp rally I participated in at three different locations. I visited Stella (missed getting the stamp), Teppanyaki Dining Sawashin, and a bakery in Ebetsu. I received a recommendation for a bread set at the bakery, which was a good deal for 700 yen. Unfortunately, they were out of the Kimchi Natto bread that I wanted to try. Overall, the bakery had high-quality but slightly expensive bread. The owner was very friendly and I hope the bakery continues to thrive.

This is a place to eat, in Izumi-cho, Eniwa City, which used to be a bustling downtown area. For detailed location, as always, please check on the map on Tabelog. I visited a bakery in Eniwa that has relatively high ratings on Tabelog, a place I had been curious about for a while. I parked my car in the shared parking lot in front of the building where the shop is located, and as soon as I entered the building, I found the entrance to the shop. Let's go inside and take a look at the lineup of bread. Most of them are soft bread, and it seems like the only hard bread they have is "batard." However, it's not an option for a food blogger to leave without buying anything, so I purchased a "cheese bread" and a "rye bread with fruits" and left the shop. I decided to taste them in the car. The "rye bread" was pre-sliced, so I tried it. It had a slightly chewy texture due to the rye, but the sweetness of the dried fruits made it a good snack for children. Next, I tried the "cheese bread" at home as a snack with wine, but I found that it would go better with milk rather than wine. Overall, these breads seem more suitable as snacks for children or as a replacement for sweets rather than for adults. Another attractive point is that the price goes down as time passes after they are made.

Head straight down the street in front of the station in Eniwa, and it will be on your right hand side. It's about a 10-minute walk. It's located in a building where Tsubo Hachi is. This bakery has an interesting layout where there is another entrance once you enter the building. A friendly man greeted me when I entered the shop. [Sweet Potato Bread 90 yen] The shop staff said that there is a sweet potato sheet inside the bread. I bought it without expecting much, thinking it might be good for my child's breakfast. However, when I tried it, the sweet potato sheet had just the right amount of sweetness and was delicious! My child seemed to really like it too. And it's only 90 yen! I would definitely like to buy it again. [Ham and Burdock Bread 155 yen] There were many cooking-related breads, but I chose this one. The taste was average. There was a bit too much mayonnaise. [Hands Bread 130 yen] A sweet bread with raisins on top. Powdered sugar on top of the raisins. It wasn't too big and easy to eat. There were many cooking-related breads here, which was nice. The prices were reasonable. It seems convenient to buy since it's relatively close to home.

This is a review of a bakery I visited in Sapporo after having ramen with my children. It was past 1 pm, so most of the bread varieties were sold out, making it difficult to choose bread for the kids. There were hardly any hard bread types, and it seemed like the main focus was on filled buns. As I was choosing bread, I noticed that they were also selling bread outside the store. A staff member returned with a large tray of bread from outside. Since there were only the same types of bread left in the large tray as the ones displayed in the store, I ended up buying 3 sausage rolls, 1 red bean bun, and 1 rusk. During payment, the charismatic store manager explained the point card system and a lottery from Ebetsu, then we left the store. The kids enjoyed the bread. I also tried the rusk, and it had just the right amount of sweetness. The kids also praised it as "delicious." Next time, I hope to visit before noon when there are more bread varieties available. Thank you for the meal.

In February 2009, I visited a bakery located near JR Ebetsu Station, just off the old National Route 36. The bakery, nestled in a unique building next to an izakaya called "Tsubo Hachi," had a cozy and quaint interior. They offered a wide variety of bread, with a standout being the curry bread topped with cheese. The bakery opened at 8:30 am, but customers would start lining up around 7 am to get freshly baked bread. The prices were reasonable, especially after lunchtime when they offered discounts. Overall, the bakery was a delightful place with tasty treats and even offered delivery for larger orders or regular customers.

A small bakery that opened on the way to school when I was in high school. I didn't have many opportunities to visit, but I have been there a few times. The narrow shop was always crowded with students during school hours, so I couldn't take my time to choose bread, which is why I didn't visit often. However, this time I happened to pass by around lunchtime, so I stopped by after a long time (how many years has it been?). The parking lot is relatively spacious as it is shared with the Tsubohachi in the same building, making it easy to enter. There is a sign at the entrance indicating whether they are open or closed, so I checked that before entering the store. The store doesn't have a fashionable feel, but it is full of handmade charm, giving it a friendly neighborhood bakery vibe that even men would find easy to enter. I remember that the small shop was filled with various types of bread, but this time, I was unlucky as most of them were sold out, with only a few types of bread left. I bought a "chocolate chip muffin & ham potato" for a total of 335 yen. First, the chocolate chip muffin. Although it is called a chocolate chip muffin, out of the 4 muffins in the pack, only 2 have chocolate chips on them, while the rest are plain. The buttery taste is rich and sweet, really delicious. The chocolate chips also have a crispy texture, which is great. Since it is not very thick, it has a similar feel to madeleines. As for the ham potato, I love potatoes, so I would have been happier if there were more potatoes and ham in it, but it was still delicious enough.

I had been interested in this bakery after seeing it on Tabelog, but I never had the chance to go until now. I finally made it today, as I happened to have some free time. I arrived around 5 pm and found a cozy little shop with a nostalgic atmosphere. They had a wide variety of breads, and I decided to try the walnut bread and cheese bread. The walnut bread (140 yen) was soft and had plenty of walnuts inside, making me feel like I got a good deal. The cheese bread (150 yen) was a bit disappointing as it didn't have much cheese filling compared to the walnut bread. I would like to try the pumpkin bun next time. And of course, I'll definitely get the walnut bread again (laughs).

2015.02. This is my visit to the bakery for the umpteenth time♪ Choco Yuki 160 yen. The ingredients list mentions salt right after sugar, so the whipped cream might have a slightly salty taste♪ Choco Sneaky 150 yen. It's a croissant version of a cornet with creamy and mildly sweet cream♪ Biscuit Chocolate 100 yen. The bread dough is sticky and clings to your fingers, but for the price of 100 yen, it's a great deal with the soft cream inside♪ Strawberry Jam Whip 130 yen. The balance of the strawberry jam's acidity and the sweetness of the whipped cream makes it very easy to eat♪ Sausage Fry 155 yen. The bread dough and the fried part are thick and fluffy. I got a 200 yen discount with the "One Coin Bread Purchase of Up to 600 yen" event (the event ended on February 19). The bread is half-priced on Saturdays from 1 pm, so it's a good deal if you come at that time, but I visited in the morning this time. Even in the morning, there were freshly baked bread on the shelves. The friendly man (probably the owner) is usually there, but recently I haven't seen him, so his daughter? was serving customers this day. It's not a trendy bakery, but they have reasonably priced bread with a mild sweetness that I like. Thank you for the meal♪♪♪♪♪ 2013.03. A bakery located on the main street in front of Eniwa Station. It may have just opened when I visited a long time ago. I didn't have a strong impression and hadn't revisited until now. But I found out about the half-price offer starting at 1 pm on Saturdays from natz's review! The friendly male owner(?) finished his lunch and it was just before 1:05 pm, but he gave me the discount. Strawberry Whip 130 yen → 65 yen. It's delicious with a chewy bread part in addition to strawberries and whipped cream! Raisin Twist 140 yen → 70 yen. It has sweetness from the raisins, not just acidity, and is deliciously mellow. Kabocha Anpan 150 yen → 75 yen. It has kabocha paste on top instead of the usual red bean paste, with pieces of kabocha as well. Cream Donut 140 yen → 70 yen. It's not custard cream but orange-colored cream...maybe pumpkin or melon cream? Sesame Cheese Bread 130 yen → 65 yen. The sesame flavor is strong and the cheese taste is subtle, with a light and large-sized bread. It's close to my home, so I might visit every week. Thank you for the meal~
