I'm in BBQ mode. Ton Ton Tei is perfect for solo BBQ. To be clear, the meat here is not top quality. But that's because it's all-you-can-eat at a low price. It's recommended for those who prioritize quantity over quality. But you know what, the rice here is delicious! BBQ equals rice, right? If the rice isn't good, the meat doesn't go down well. The rice here, I can confidently say, is delicious. The brother across the street serves a huge portion of rice, like in a manga. I get what you mean, that feeling. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

It's been a while since I went to Tonton-tei (*☻-☻*). The meat here doesn't seem expensive, but it's something I've been used to eating since I was a child, and I sometimes crave it. The all-you-can-eat option for 1800 yen allows you to eat without holding back. The cheaper cuts of meat do have a greasy texture, but it somehow adds to the deliciousness. Meat fat is just so tasty, right? Haha笑笑\\\\٩( 'ω' )و ////

It's been a while since I visited Tonton Tei. This place is perfect for dining alone, you can eat without any worries. They open at 11:30 am. I was one of the first customers, but more people started coming in. Today, there were a lot of solo diners. To be honest, the taste is nothing special. The main appeal here is that you can eat a lot for a low price, so if you're looking for quality meat, you might want to try another place. I came here because, as I mentioned earlier, I can enjoy my meal alone without feeling awkward. The space is big, so sometimes it's hard to dine alone, but here you can relax without any concerns. There are many solo diners around too. Oh, and surprisingly, the rice here is delicious. I enjoyed my meal! Thank you for the food.

I heard about an unlimited lunch for 1000 yen, so I decided to visit during dinner time. I used my Hot Pepper points for the all-you-can-eat option for free, and ordered the all-you-can-drink option without beer for 1000 yen. I also ordered a lemon sour drink. The all-you-can-eat corner had yakitori, beef tongue, beef sagari, and other great options. They even had chocolate bananas and squid, which I think are only available during dinner time! They also had fried chicken, curry, onions, and green onions. The soup was especially delicious! When I tried to grill the yakitori, I realized the fire wasn't on. I told the staff and they quickly lit it up for me. They were very apologetic and I thought they were great. I appreciated that they didn't rush us out right at the end of the time limit for all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink. The cost performance was good and the atmosphere was nice, so I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal!

Today is the 29th, which is often referred to as "Meat Day," but I couldn't find many places offering special lunch deals for Meat Day, maybe I didn't search properly. In the end, I decided to go to a place where I can eat meat that is not related to Meat Day. The place I chose was one that had caught my attention before, suggested by my younger brother. The restaurant opened at 12 o'clock, or was it 11:30? I wasn't quite sure. The parking lot was small, so I decided to go early. I arrived at around 11:40, and although the sign said they open at 12, the door was open and I was allowed in. I sat down, started the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, which was available until 3 pm. A surprise awaited me as it was their 40th-anniversary promotion, and instead of the usual ¥1300, it was only ¥1000 for the whole month. Lucky me! However, to my surprise, there was no lamb meat, only beef, pork, and chicken. They seemed to offer takeout Genghis Khan bento, so maybe lamb meat was not in demand or too expensive. The meat quality was decent for the price, not too thin or fatty. The pork and beef were delicious, but the beef slices were a bit thin. The beef liver was also good, while the sausages were average. The dessert, almond jelly, and jelly were okay. The rice was tasty, and the soup was light and matched well with the grilled meat. I ended up eating for about 90 minutes and regretted not knowing about the ¥1000 deal sooner.

Located along the old Route 5, in the area reminiscent of a traditional Japanese musical instrument, is a long-established yakiniku buffet restaurant. Near the entrance of the shop, they also sell bento boxes with meat dishes. I'm not sure where the information came from, but my wife requested to visit this restaurant, so we decided to have dinner there. The interior of the restaurant, with many table seats instead of sunken kotatsu seating, exudes a Showa era atmosphere. We were seated near the entrance, but there were more seats towards the back of the aisle, making the interior appear more spacious than expected from the outside. It was dinner time, so many families, likely regular customers, were there, creating a lively atmosphere. The menu only offers an all-you-can-eat option for 1,800 yen, and we also added a soft drink bar for 200 yen. The restaurant uses gas grills embedded in the tables, giving it a retro feel, but the smell of the food does stick to your clothes. The self-service style allows you to pick up your own meat and dishes, but the display area is not very large, and the variety is not extensive. Although there were few types of meat, they were all of good quality and delicious. The curry and zangi dishes were also tasty, leaving us feeling full and overall feeling like a great deal. The staff were friendly, so I would recommend this place to those who don't mind the retro atmosphere.

Here we go! I love TonTon Tei. It's been a while since my last visit. I came right after they opened and there were all kinds of customers - individuals, salarymen, families, you name it. Of course, it's because you can eat a lot for a low price. This place may not be for those who prioritize quality. I, on the other hand, love being able to relax alone, the cozy atmosphere, and what some might call "B-class gourmet" food, so this place is perfect for me. This time, I enjoyed a variety of favorites like kalbi, chicken, and sausages. I savored the leisurely solo barbecue. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I've been curious about this place since I worked in the Nishi Ward a long time ago. I never felt like going to a 1550 yen all-you-can-eat BBQ place because I thought it must be sketchy. But I decided to give it a try and went there. This time, I tried the dinner course for 1550 yen plus all-you-can-drink soft drinks for 250 yen, making it an 1800 yen course. The conclusion is, it's "Texas". It's just like the Texas BBQ places that used to be quite common in Sapporo. I used to go to the one in the Higashi Ward during high school, and it's exactly like that. Even though it was during the Heisei era back then (laughs). I tried the kalbi, sagari, Genghis Khan, tongue (pork?), and chicken, and they were all pretty good. The meat quality is like the imported beef you find at budget supermarkets. The sagari was good, and even the Genghis Khan was tasty. I want to console those who only go to clean and modern BBQ places these days. When you want to reminisce about the good old days of going to places like this with friends in high school, I recommend it. But the standout dish at this place is the beef bowl. It's abnormally delicious. It's so good that they could probably just run a beef bowl shop. The meat is slightly thick but seasoned relatively lightly, and it goes down smoothly. When you add some pickled ginger, it becomes irresistible. I wonder what makes it so delicious. And then, the legendary chocolate banana makes an appearance. Even though there were no kids in the restaurant who would be excited about a chocolate banana, only adults. I had two of them and they were delicious. If someone asks me if I'll go back, I might not go for a while. But for those who want to immerse themselves in nostalgia, you should definitely go.

A famous budget-friendly yakiniku restaurant. It's an old establishment with a Showa-era atmosphere. The yakiniku tastes the same as always, although the meat may have changed slightly. Nostalgia adds to the overall experience. I had 1-2 bowls of gyudon, yakiniku, plenty of rice, and fruit for only 1500 yen, and I was satisfied. The Genghis Khan lamb meat is delicious. I recommend the soy sauce and chili pepper condiment on the table.

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, and it is a designated rare disease by the government. In December, due to the increased heating in hospitals and commercial facilities, the environment has become even hotter, leading to discomfort. Unfortunately, there is no medication that suits me yet. Likes and comments may be delayed, so thank you for your understanding. "In March 2020, I visited 'Tonton Tei,' a yakiniku restaurant known for its reasonable all-you-can-eat lunch menu. However, upon entering the restaurant, I found that all seats were raised tatami seating without chairs, which I cannot use. Therefore, I had to give up on having lunch there. I bought some 'Zangi' for takeout, which was a handmade dish with a strong garlic flavor that goes well with beer or chuhai. The price was 300 yen. I hope they consider adding table seating in the future." As of March 3, 2020, the price per 100g of "fried half chicken" from various restaurants in Sapporo, listed from the cheapest: Yam Yam Hikoboshi Store - 94 yen, Yam Yam Hikoboshi Store - 95 yen, Yam Yam Shinhatsukita Store - 95 yen, Poppo Tei (Higashi-ku) - 111 yen, Yam Yam Shinhatsukita Store - 111 yen, Hotai Main Store - 133 yen, Tonton Tei (Nishi-ku) - 142 yen, Motomachi Harapeko Tei - 157 yen, Otaru Tororian - 179 yen, South Villa - 200 yen, Hotai Akarenga Terrace Store - 212 yen, Koto Zangi Zanta - 229 yen, Joy Pack Chicken Sapporo Kotonishi Store - 319 yen.

I visited this restaurant after hearing that their weekday all-you-can-eat yakiniku is very cheap. The weekday lunchtime special is 1,000 yen including tax, with unlimited time for all-you-can-eat. You can help yourself to the meat and drinks. They offer various types of meat such as beef kalbi, sagari, tongue, liver, pork belly, chicken, and vegetables. The price includes a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. The quality is decent for the price. If you just want to fill up on meat without worrying about the quality of the meat or service, this is the perfect place. The restaurant was almost full, indicating its popularity. However, be aware that the restaurant is quite smoky, so there may be a lingering smell on your clothes.

The first meal of the new year is at my favorite Tonton-tei. As usual, I visited right when they opened. Normally, I would eat, go back home, write a review, and upload it a few days later, but today, I'm uploading the review while eating! Why, you ask? Because freshness is key! Just kidding, but anyway! In the past, I visited for weekday lunches, but today is Saturday! They had added fried potatoes, fried chicken, and beef bowl to the menu. The fried potatoes had a new texture, crispy from being fried and then baked again! I love it! And as always, the atmosphere is so comfortable! I can't describe it! This is my first time trying to write a review while eating, and I realize I can't focus on my meal!!! It seems like this will be the first and last time I do this ^_^ Well, I still want to eat more! Thank you so much! ^_^

I was taken here by a friend from the West District. The restaurant's exterior stands out when you pass by. It was an all-you-can-eat BBQ place, which I haven't had in years. Based on reviews, it seems like it's okay to go alone. There were a few groups, but there were also quite a few solo diners! There were a group of four girls who were eating a lot! The orders were: Weekday lunch 1000 yen, Soft drink bar 228 yen, Beer 350 yen. The meat was typical for all-you-can-eat, with various types such as beef, pork, chicken, and offal. The meat was a bit fatty, but I enjoyed the beef kalbi and liver. Rice, seaweed and egg soup, salad, fruit punch, and more were all-you-can-eat. Dining alone is fine, but it felt a bit lonely in the box seating area, so dining alone at the counter might be better (laughs). My favorite part was the gochujang. The gochujang at BBQ places is usually not very spicy, but the one here was spicy! It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I wonder if I'll gather the courage to go alone next time (laughs).

I visited the restaurant again without much time in between. Why? Because it's a perfect place for dining alone. I arrived a little after the opening at 11:30 am (although it's listed as 12 pm on Tabelog) and there were already two solo diners seated. More solo diners, both male and female, arrived afterwards. All the seats are on a raised platform. Today, I tried some items I didn't have last time - pumpkin, salad, skirt steak, egg soup, orange juice, and more. Everything was self-service except for lighting the fire, so you can eat at your own pace. They have a drink bar with Calpis and orange juice. They also provide Gochujang, which surprisingly tastes great. Some people add it in later, but I prefer to put it in from the start. The egg soup was perfectly seasoned, not too salty, and the rice was just the right firmness for me. The salad is perfect for a break between bites. The high ratings are probably due to the comfortable atmosphere that doesn't make you feel out of place dining alone, and the great value. The weekday lunch buffet is only 1,000 yen including tax, and adding the drink bar makes it 1,250 yen - such a great deal. I enjoyed my meal! Thank you for the feast.

I wonder why I suddenly feel like eating yakiniku. In my case, I usually have lunch alone, so I always keep an eye out for restaurants where I can enjoy yakiniku by myself. Ton Ton Tei is perfect for solo yakiniku. In fact, many people, both men and women, dine alone there. It's reassuring to see that. Plus, their lunch buffet is only 1,000 yen with a drink bar for an additional 250 yen. I recently tried it out and the total cost was only 1,250 yen, which is great value for money. Apart from lighting the fire, everything is self-service. You first go and pick the items you want to eat. The buffet includes chicken, hormone, kalbi, sagari, skewers, sausages, salad, almond jelly, bananas, rice, soup, and a drink bar with Calpis, cola, and oolong tea. While there are no high-end ingredients, it's definitely worth the price. The best part is that it's easy to enjoy yakiniku alone. Even though it was a weekday at noon, the place was quite busy. Surprisingly, there were many solo female diners. The restaurant opens at 11:30 am, and I'm sure I'll be visiting more often. I didn't take many photos because my battery was at 3%, but I may have found the perfect spot. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I had a solo yakiniku meal. It cost 1,550 yen for 90 minutes, with an additional 250 yen for a drink bar. The meat options included chicken thigh, chicken skewers, beef kalbi, beef sagari, Genghis Khan (lamb), pork belly, sausages, and various vegetables. Although I didn't eat it, there was also dessert available. I had a vegetable salad and skipped the rice, focusing on vegetables. They also offered beef bowl, which they highly recommended! The soup was good. The best meats were the chicken, beef kalbi, and pork belly, and the sausages were also decent. Overall, for an all-you-can-eat place, it was not bad. However, the Genghis Khan lamb was tough and the seasoning wasn't to my liking, which was a bit disappointing. It seems like my diet wasn't completely successful... haha. Now, let's walk back to Sapporo Station! Thank you for the meal! (^o^)

Lunch at Ton Ton Tei for 1000 yen, first time visiting in about 25 years since high school! The cost performance is good, but the variety is limited, and if you prioritize quality over quantity, it's a bit underwhelming. As I've gotten older, I can't eat as much as I used to. The seaweed and egg soup was surprisingly delicious. Even in a fierce blizzard, the restaurant is always popular, with solo diners included.

Lunch was so cheap‼️ They have various options like beef sagari and kalbi, and it was enjoyable. I heard they also offer menu items not on the lunch menu for around 100 yen per dish, so I definitely need to go back.
