This is a restaurant located along the old Route 36 in December 2022. There are few similar restaurants in this area, so it always seems crowded. I visited the other day and it was fully booked, so I went to the yakiniku restaurant across the street. On this day, there was one table available so I went in. It's a cozy restaurant. The menu includes a good balance of fish, fried food, and meat, but the fish is very popular and often sold out. The steak is very tender and delicious with no aftertaste. The shrimp tempura is plump and comes with hot tempura sauce, which is nice. The tuna sushi was also good. There is a variety of drinks available, but it's a pity that they don't have white wine. I would like to visit again.

Visited on March 28, 2018 in Kiyota-ku, Satozuka, where a new izakaya called "Izakaya Ippai" has opened. The owner runs the place alone, creating a relaxed atmosphere where even solo diners can enjoy themselves at the counter. There is also a raised tatami seating area for groups. Today, we visited with a group of 4 and the counter was full, with the raised seating area already reserved. It seems like the restaurant is already becoming popular in the local area, even on a Wednesday. Here are the dishes we tried: - Sashimi Assortment: Fresh and delicious. - Prosciutto Marinated: Perfectly seasoned prosciutto. - Spring Roll with Ham and Cheese: A must-try for cheese lovers. - Tempura Assortment: Served with a variety of seafood and vegetables, very generous portions. - Fried Chicken Cartilage: Perfect with beer. - Grilled Beef Tongue with Green Onions: Just the right amount of chewiness and seasoning. - Simmered Giblets: Tasted similar to my favorite horumon nabe, highly recommended. - French Fries: A classic choice. - Sushi Assortment: The sashimi was great, and the sushi was equally delicious. As for drinks, we had beer, shochu, and sake. I can't remember much after eating and drinking so much, but the total bill came out to be less than 5000 yen per person. In February 2018, I visited a cozy and clean izakaya along the old Route 36 with an acquaintance who knew the owner. This izakaya used to be a cafe called Caprino during the day, but transforms into an izakaya at night. The owner used to work at Tsubohachi in Biei-ga-oka, which is known for delicious sushi. This izakaya also serves sushi, and I ordered a sashimi platter with salmon, scallops, and marinated mackerel - all fresh and delicious. I also tried the ham and cheese spring rolls, which were crispy and tasty. The striped mackerel was flavorful and not too salty. The owner even offered a celebratory drink, which was smooth and easy to drink. I enjoyed the sake as well. The izakaya is not too far from my home, so I look forward to visiting again.
