I tried their dinner before and it was delicious, so I decided to go for lunch. I ordered the chicken breast with mustard sauce lunch set. You can choose between bread or rice, and I chose bread. But wait, there was no wet towel provided. I asked, "Can I have a wet towel?" and they replied, "Wet towels are not included with the lunch set as it is a service." However, the lunch set was not cheap, costing 1000 yen. It was not exactly a budget-friendly price. Even if they don't provide wet towels, I wish they at least offered paper towels. I already chose bread, so it was a bit disappointing.

This was my second visit to Uni Carbonara. I visited during lunchtime and it was relatively empty, so you can enjoy your meal leisurely. I had Uni Carbonara with coffee as a set. I thought it would be richer than Carbonara due to the uni, but it was more like adding a hint of sea flavor to Carbonara. Even though I'm not a fan of uni, I was able to enjoy it. Uni lovers might find it lacking though. I'll come back for dinner next time. Thank you for the meal!

I had visited this place a few times before, but this was my first visit since discovering Tabelog. I heard news of the snow coming, so I decided to go try their seasonal menu. I couldn't decide between the "Oyster and Shimeji Gratin" or the "Oyster Cream Pasta," but I ended up choosing the gratin. For 330 yen, you can add a salad and rice or bread. The value for money might not be the best, but the cabbage in the salad was crunchy and the tomatoes were delicious. Even after finishing the salad, the gratin took a while to arrive, but it was worth the wait. It bubbled and finally arrived. The smell of the burnt cheese on top was irresistible. The first bite had a lot of shimeji mushrooms, and then came the oysters! There were about 10 big pieces in there. The rice and the gratin together with the oyster essence were a great combination. Next time, I'll try the pasta! ✨

After finishing my business in Otaru in August 2017, I went for lunch. I remembered that there were a few parking spaces in front of the restaurant from my visit many years ago, so I decided to stop by. There were already about 10 customers in a group, and all the other table seats were reserved, but they offered me a seat at the counter. I ordered the "fish lunch" from the lunch menu. The main dish was "Salad with plenty of alfonsino and vegetables", which came with salad, rice or bread, and a drink. Additionally, ordering from the lunch menu came with complimentary corn soup, so I ordered that as well. The counter seat was right in front of the kitchen, and the chef was very busy preparing dishes for the group. However, the chef worked quickly and efficiently, serving one dish after another. First, the soup was served, which had a smooth texture. Then, the salad, rice, and main fish dish arrived. It was a huge portion. The menu mentioned plenty of vegetables, and indeed, there were various sautéed summer vegetables, pickled vegetables, and a whole grilled tomato on top of the alfonsino. The vegetables were fresh and delicious, but the portion was overwhelming, overshadowing the fish. The hamburger lunch, made with only local beef, looked delicious too, with a generous amount of demiglace sauce poured over it. There were also customers ordering gratin and pasta separately, which also looked appealing. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

This place is wonderful! The meat dishes here are top-notch, like the hamburger made from beef cheek and duck meat appetizer. The shrimp soup and pasta were also excellent. I'm not certain of the exact names of the dishes, but everything was superb! The hamburger had a demi-glace sauce with lots of vegetables. The duck meat dish had a delicious sauce. The pasta was unlike anything I've had elsewhere. There are still so many more dishes I want to try! I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

I ordered the special selected beef fillet steak lunch with additional soup and dessert. The meat was delicious, it was so good it made me feel alive! The mashed potatoes that came with it were also tasty. The lunch may be a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it once in a while. I'm satisfied! ✨

I visited Igurekku 5.3 for the first time in a while. It was a long weekend, so at first there were only three groups of customers, but by the time they left, the restaurant was full. This time, I ordered the baked curry gratin. My daughter ordered the limited edition Potato Oh (King) Gratin. Both dishes came with a salad. The baked curry gratin arrived hot, but surprisingly not too hot to eat comfortably. It had chunks of beef that were soft and delicious. The beef was from Do Beef, a Hokkaido-raised cattle. The Potato Oh (King) Gratin used potatoes from a farm in Kyojoku-cho, and it looked delicious with avocado, shrimp, and bacon. It came with apple sauce for a variety of flavors. Even though it was limited to three servings, my daughter couldn't stop saying how delicious it was. The restaurant can accommodate up to 30 people, making it suitable for parties or events. They also have guest rooms for 2 to 10 people. I would like to use it for a party next time.

I was recommended to visit a stylish and delicious French restaurant called "Igurekku". Driving through the snowy streets of Otaru, we arrived at a cozy restaurant in a residential area that felt like a villa in Karuizawa. The interior was cute like a cafe, and the casual French-style cuisine sounded appealing. My partner ordered the fish lunch, while I couldn't resist the temptation of the "Hamburg" on the menu. The Hamburg steak was served with a rich demi-glace sauce, which was a delight for demi-glace lovers. However, it lacked the robust and juicy aroma that I was expecting. The dish was packed with vegetables and had a healthy and flavorful taste. It was a unique Hamburg steak, lighter than expected but still satisfying. The bread roll was delicious, although I was told that butter was not available due to its high price. The fish dish had a vibrant appearance and a strong spice flavor, which may not suit everyone's taste. Overall, the food was tasty and comforting, with a home-cooked feel rather than a gourmet experience. I would love to come back for the daily lunch specials and enjoy the picturesque surroundings of the restaurant.

This time I visited Igurekku-san. We had a course meal that cost around 6000 yen per person, along with about 3 or 4 bottles of wine. The food was delicious, with some standout dishes such as the appetizer, pumpkin soup, a meat dish (I forgot the name), and dessert. The beautiful presentation of the dishes made the wine pair perfectly with the meal. I forgot to take detailed notes on the flavors, but the overall experience was truly enjoyable. I am planning to visit again soon, and next time I want to savor the flavors without drinking too much. The service and atmosphere were both top-notch, making it feel like a high-end restaurant. In terms of value for money, with around 6 dishes served, the cost was reasonable. The drink selection was also impressive, with the wine pairing well with the food.

When I had the chance to visit Otaru, I went to a place I had always wanted to visit called "Igurek". After getting a little familiar with Otaru, I was able to navigate using a map. It's good to do a little exercise before enjoying a delicious meal. When I got close to the restaurant and lost my way, I asked someone who seemed like a local, and they pointed me in the right direction saying, "It's up there." Finding the restaurant on my own made me quite happy. The interior of the restaurant had a nostalgic feel, and I was pleased to hear classical music playing. I was indecisive about what to order, but ended up choosing the fish lunch set. It came with salad, bread, a main dish, and coffee. The fish plate was beautifully presented with a sense of artistry, and the side dishes were plentiful. The flavor was a bit rich, so I thought it would pair well with wine. The fish portion was a bit small. Thank you for the meal.

I decided to have a Western-style lunch for the first time in a while. This restaurant is known for incorporating French essence into their Western dishes. They actively use local ingredients, especially known for their beef dishes. The menu includes lunch and dinner courses, as well as a variety of a la carte options such as meat, pasta, and gratins. I ordered the Oyster and Mushroom Gratin (¥1470), which was a bit overpriced for lunch, but since it's been a while since I had Western food, I thought it was worth it. While waiting, I looked around the retro-themed interior with classical music playing in the background, and the winter scenery outside the window, which could be a nice location for women and couples. When the gratin arrived, it had a nicely browned surface indicating it was well-cooked in the oven. The cheese was generously used, giving the sauce a yellow color. There were 13 small but flavorful oysters in it, which I learned were from Saroma to prevent burning my mouth from larger oysters. The oysters were rich and delicious, complementing the cheese perfectly, but they felt slightly watery when chewed. The mushrooms had a good crunch, indicating their freshness. Feeling a bit unsatisfied towards the end, I glanced at the menu and saw "Sea Urchin Carbonara," which was highly praised. Curious and craving more, I ordered it. The sea urchin was steamed, not raw, with a unique taste. The egg yolk was from Takishita Farm in Yoichi, and the bacon was crispy and salty. The pasta was slightly thin but had a good texture. The Sea Urchin Carbonara was rich, with a hint of sweetness from the sea urchin, but it had a strange taste, with the steamed sea urchin and salty crispy bacon having conflicting flavors. However, the idea was interesting. I would like to try their meat dishes next time, like the tongue stew or beef tongue steak. Looking back, spending nearly 3000 yen on lunch was a bit much. I should have considered the set menu options. (Bitter smile)

This restaurant was on my list of places to visit. I went for lunch and ordered the hamburger lunch and the daily fish lunch. The dishes were carefully prepared and almost too beautiful to eat. The flavors were quite good, with the hamburger being tender and delicious. I wished there was a bit more salt and pepper though. I was also intrigued by the pasta dishes and would like to try them next time. The service was good, making the dining experience enjoyable.

A restaurant standing in a residential area. It is located on the first floor of a large house, with a cozy and homely atmosphere featuring wood accents. There are also private rooms, probably for large groups with reservations. I have only been here for lunch, but it is always crowded even on weekdays. It might be smoother to come at a slightly different time. Today's lunch was the Extreme Shrimp Pasta. It is a creamy pasta with a rich shrimp flavor that shrimp lovers will adore. They also offer dishes like Uni Carbonara Pasta, Mushroom and Daikon Oroshi Japanese-style pasta, and baked curry, all of which are delicious and come with a special salad dressing that is also tasty. The prices are reasonable, and the flavors are slightly bold, which suits me as a man. Sharing two or three different dishes to try might be a good idea to keep things interesting.

This is a Western-style restaurant located in the residential area on the mountain side of Tomioka Co-op. It has a few counter seats, around 7 table seats, and private rooms. I live nearby, so I often go there to eat. Not just because it's close by, but because I can eat in a calm atmosphere, there are various menu options, and the food is delicious. Lately, I've been going for lunch more often, so I usually have the meat lunch. There are several types of meat lunches, so it's always exciting to see what's on the menu today. They also have spaghetti and gratin, which I occasionally enjoy. When I go for dinner, I always struggle to choose between chicken breast with mustard sauce, chicken mayo, gratin, chicken and vegetable miso, cheese bake, chicken thigh with chili sauce, and hamburger in egg style. With private rooms available, you can also enjoy a meal with family or loved ones on special occasions like anniversaries or events (Christmas, wedding anniversary, birthday, etc.) (Reservation by phone is required). Overall, the flavors seem to be on the rich side, which suits me as a man. With a wide variety of menu options, it's a place where you can enjoy delicious food without getting tired of it no matter how many times you visit.

I had a hamburger and it was said to be the same taste as when the restaurant first opened. When I cut into the hamburger with a knife, juicy meat juices overflowed. Eating it, I realized how tasty the meat was, without any unpleasant smell. It was a day where I could enjoy delicious meat after a long time. The side vegetables were also delicious. The interior of the restaurant was clean and had a calm atmosphere. The only downside was that it was a bit cold. Other than that, I had a great meal without any issues.

Actually, I'm not a fan of meat, but after trying the meat here for the first time, I discovered how delicious it can be. In Sapporo, a 200-gram steak can be quite pricey, but is it the Otaru price? No, it must be the owner's generous pricing, making it affordable to eat. I highly recommend it for those who are not fond of meat. I recently tried the Extreme Shrimp Pasta, and while I usually find white sauce-based pasta to be heavy and boring halfway through, the sauce here is light and I found myself either finishing the plate or using bread to wipe up every last drop. The demi-glace sauce on the hamburger is also perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and with plenty of vegetables, leaving both my stomach and heart satisfied. I recommend trying the meat dishes here. Next, I've decided on the hamburger and uni carbonara!

We went as a family. The restaurant is located in a small alley, giving it a hidden gem atmosphere. The exterior is cute and stylish, and the interior is a retro-style with a sense of taste. The view from the window from the chair was very nice and I liked it. My husband ordered the hamburger lunch, I had the daily lunch, and my mother-in-law ordered pasta. What was brought to me for lunch was an Italian dish with chicken, cheese, and tomato sauce. The taste was so delicious that I was overwhelmed. The tomato sauce wasn't just sour, it had a sweet taste that I like. The mashed potatoes under the chicken also did a great job. The hamburger also had a glossy demi-glace sauce with a rich flavor. However, my mother-in-law's pasta, which was like a Jajangmyeon-style pasta, was not that great. Oh, I was impressed by the deliciousness of the accompanying vegetables. I was surprised by the mountain of bell peppers, but I could easily eat them and feel the sweetness and flavor of the vegetables, reminding me of the true deliciousness of vegetables.

The course meal was delicious. The most impressive dish was not the main or dessert, but the "soup"! It was a pumpkin soup that day, and the smoothness of it was incredible. It was so smooth, creamy, and had no roughness at all. It was silky and creamy, unlike any other pumpkin soup I've had before. I wonder how many times the chef filtered it... they must have filtered it quite a lot. The pumpkin here was amazing. It was so delicious!

It is a Western-style restaurant that uses Hokkaido beef and fish from Hokkaido. It used to be located along Jigoku-zaka a few years ago. I used to go there occasionally for meals, but I have only been there once since it moved to its current location...^^; I often ate spaghetti, and whether it was meat sauce, clams, mushrooms, or anything else, it was always delicious. The interior of the restaurant is made of wood with white walls, creating a bright and clean atmosphere. In addition to the counter and table seats, there also seems to be a guest room available.
