Today, I had the hamburger set meal again. When I entered the restaurant, the owner greeted me with "It's getting hot, isn't it?" which was nice. The hamburger today was slightly overcooked, and the bottom was burnt on the hot plate, which was a bit disappointing. There were many side dishes, and even though I couldn't finish them all, the owner kindly said, "Feel free to ask for more rice." I will definitely come back soon.

I had the 880 yen hamburger steak set lunch. The hamburger steak served on a hot iron plate was delicious, along with the baked potato. The hamburger steak made with ground meat was easy to eat, and when you cut into it, the juices overflowed. It was a bit disappointing that the miso soup was lukewarm, but I was happy to have a variety of vegetables in the many side dishes. The portion size was also good. It seemed like there was a new owner or manager compared to my previous visit. They were wearing a pure white chef's jacket and efficiently managing everything on their own.

Yes, Anything Goes was the name of the set meal restaurant. I thought they didn't have noodles, but they actually had pot-cooked ramen. It seemed like a couple running the place, and they were very friendly. The Pork Chop set meal with half rice was enjoyable, with a variety of small dishes on the side. The half portion of rice was already a lot, so I'm glad I didn't order a full portion. Next time, I'll try the Sukiyaki with Egg set meal. Thank you for the meal.

I'm working in the Higashi Ward of Sapporo City! It's a bit early, but I'll have lunch. I decided to try out the "Teishokuya Toshi & Nori" restaurant that I've been curious about every time I pass by on Higashi 8-chome Street (also known as Hokuko-sen). The parking lot is located behind the restaurant. Looking at the menu, there are so many things that catch my eye. I was a bit indecisive, but when I asked for the mackerel miso, they said they didn't have it today. So, I went with the safe option of the fried chicken set (5 pieces) for 980 yen. It was ready in about 10 minutes. Now, let's dig in! The fried chicken pieces are big. The seasoning is light, but it tastes just right when dipped in the tartar sauce provided. I can taste a hint of garlic as well. The five side dishes (including pickles) look luxurious. The rice portion is generous! With the large fried chicken pieces, I ended up feeling very full. I noticed while eating that this place was also featured on Takatoshi Land, with Matsushima Naomi sitting at a designated table. It was a delicious meal. I'll definitely come back next time to try the mackerel miso!

Lunch!! I went to Takatoshi Land. The seat I sat in was where the guests sit. The menu had a good variety of Japanese and Western dishes. The hamburger and chicken looked delicious! The dumplings were also tempting! The atmosphere was nice too! I decided to go with the seafood chirashi bowl. I initially went to a nearby sushi restaurant, but the samples didn't look appetizing, so I came here instead. I noticed some menu items in the distance that weren't available at my table. The Nori Nori set had sushi and tempura, while the Toshitoku set had cherry salmon sashimi and simmered flounder. Oh, if only I had known, those would have been great choices too! Here it comes! There were many side dishes included, which was amazing! The seafood was standard but tasty. The soy sauce was delicious too. The rice had a gentle hint of vinegar and was delicious. The side dishes in the style of home-cooked dishes were also tasty. The best part was the cucumber slices between the seafood. Usually, they are just raw and cold, making you feel like you're eating something bland, but these were prepared and tasted delicious. The portion size might be a bit small for men. I wonder if they offer rice refills. They also had sushi and I would like to try the hamburger and other Western dishes. The kind and gentle head chef seemed to be doing a meticulous job. A humble diner indeed. The polite and attentive staff who supported the head chef were also impressive. Please display all the menu items at every table! It was delicious. Thank you!

I found a small diner while snow was falling on and off due to the convergence zone of the Japan Sea cold air mass. The diner had a slightly different atmosphere with a counter. I decided to order the lunch set menu and found the simmered flounder. I also ordered miso soup for an additional 100 yen. Both dishes were neither exceptional nor bad, just simply delicious.

I had the sashimi set lunch menu. The sashimi included tuna, salmon, shrimp, octopus, and surf clam, all of which were of average supermarket quality. The side dishes included tamagoyaki, simmered pumpkin, tofu, yam, and pickles. They were also average in taste. It cost 800 yen, so I can't complain too much, but overall the meal didn't really make me want to eat the rice. It was a bit disappointing. Thank you for the meal. I'd like to give it another try someday. LOL.

On a certain weekday, I had lunch at a bookmarked restaurant located at 7-cho, Higashi 45-jo, Higashi-ku. It is a Japanese set meal restaurant with a focus on seafood. There is a parking lot for about 2 cars behind the restaurant. Inside, I noticed that it used to be a soba izakaya. The interior consists of a counter and two tables. The background music playing was from a TV shopping channel. I decided to try the "Seafood Chirashi Set Meal (800 yen)" which was also featured on the signboard. The vinegar rice was freshly cooked and topped with salmon, sweet shrimp, sea bream, scallop, crab leg, and thick tuna. Underneath, there were shiso leaves, purple cabbage, and shredded seaweed. Additionally, there were five small side dishes including paprika and eggplant, pumpkin simmered dish, grated yam with pickled pink vegetables, lightly seasoned rolled omelette with grated daikon, pickled radish, and miso soup with wheat gluten and seaweed. I wondered if there would be a standout dish, but everything was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Sashimi set meal for 800 yen including tax is a good deal. The parking lot is located at the back. They offer a variety of delicious sashimi. The rice portion seems a bit small (lol). They serve lots of side dishes. You need to consider the balance with the rice, or you'll end up with leftover side dishes (lol). I wonder if they offer refills. The side dishes have a gentle flavor that I like. I wonder if this restaurant mainly focuses on Western-style set meals? They have both Western and Japanese menu items. Next time, I'll try the Western menu.

I visited for the first time and had the pork miso soup and salmon set meal. It was delicious. The set meal cost 950 yen and the bath was 480 yen. It was a good day. Next time, I will try the Western-style dishes. It's close by, so I'll definitely come back.

I passed by the restaurant after a long time and decided to visit. They were having a Beef & Pork Fair, so I tried the Yagumo beef steak bowl. It came with the usual side dishes and the steak bowl was delicious. Yagumo beef is really tasty.

I had a day off so I leisurely drank beer and had some snacks, then finished with a tempura bowl before heading home. The tempura was crispy and very delicious. I am completely satisfied.

I visited Takatoshi Land after a long time and it seems they have added new menu items such as Nori Nori Teishoku and Toshitoku Teishoku. This time, I chose the Nori Nori Teishoku and it was delicious.

Pork chop set meal - The meat is tender and delicious!

Pac-Man is the best! It was around 12:30 noon, right in the middle of lunchtime, and we were the only customers. The food was served in less than 10 minutes, which was excellent! We were able to eat quickly, which was great. The rice portion was generous and had a substantial weight to it. The pork chop itself was decent in taste, not bad. The side dishes seemed to focus on variety. It had a good feel of a set meal. The miso soup was lukewarm. I wished it was warmer, even if it couldn't be piping hot. There was a newspaper rack, and the seating was cramped. There were three Asahi newspapers. There must be a demand for them.

In Susukino, there was a ramen restaurant that opened a gyoza shop, haha. Totoron is here, where there seems to be a parking lot♪ Surprisingly, for the first 3 days after opening, both lunch and dinner are only 500 yen! The limited menu includes pork chop set, fried gyoza set, Japanese-style tsukune hamburger set, sashimi set, and tempura set♪ I tried the sashimi set♪ It's packed here(^^ゞ They have AC, but it doesn't work well( ; ﾟДﾟ) Even with the ventilation, it's always full. (*^^*) However, there isn't much space between the seats, and the ventilation isn't great. Especially at the counter, I wish there were partition boards. They probably couldn't prepare in time since they just opened haha. Maybe if they didn't serve alcohol, they would've been fine according to the officials haha. Luckily, Totoron has table seats, so it's not too crowded( *´艸｀)ｳﾌﾟﾌﾟ Now, the sashimi set worth more than 500 yen is here. It's a grand set(*^^*) It includes 4 types of sashimi and 5 side dishes, and I even got free rice refill haha. The side dishes were bacon and nagaimo vinegar, pickled radish, sweet vinegar cucumber, and for some reason, two of them haha. The rolled omelet was a bit bland, so it didn't really work as a side dish(^^ゞ But the sashimi was different. Octopus, salmon, sweet shrimp, and bluefin tuna were all delicious! Especially the sweet shrimp, even the head part was sweet and tasty! The bluefin tuna was close to chu-toro, and that was good too(*^^*) It's not pre-made, so it's not dry, and the freshness is good, so I'm very satisfied for 500 yen(^-^) I'd like to come back to check out the regular menu and the cost performance when they start normal operation.
