The new Korean restaurant is located just a three-minute walk from Hankyu Mikuni Station, in the middle of Mikuni Shopping Street. With a cute exterior featuring a light blue color and illustrations of angels, it catches the eye immediately. Inside, the atmosphere is friendly and calming, with a bright gray color scheme, six two-person tables, and two counter seats.
The lunch menu includes:
- Simmered Hamburg Steak (recommended!)
- Daily special
- Bibimbap
- Home-style curry
All priced at 1,000 yen, accompanied by a salad and two side dishes. I chose the daily special.
The cold noodles and kimbap came with kimchi. The cold noodles were authentic Korean style, served in a tangy broth with ingredients such as boiled egg, cucumber, tomato, apple slices, and kimchi. There were vinegar and gochujang available for customizing the flavor to my liking. The kimbap was plain, filled with egg, sausage, pickled radish, and crab stick. Given the heat, I opted for a refreshing dish, but the bibimbap that the table next to me was enjoying looked incredibly delicious, so that's definitely on my list for next time.
In the evening, the restaurant operates as a specialty store for samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly). This is likely where the restaurant truly showcases its culinary strengths. The female staff and the chef were both very kind and attentive, making for a delightful and satisfying experience both for my taste buds and my mood.
