I ended up forgetting to take quite a few photos. Sorry about that! After passing through the notoriously unsafe streets of Tōkyō, you arrive at that towering building, the Kabukichō Tower, where there’s a churrasco restaurant. Once you go up to the floor, it's no longer the grimy Kabukichō; it transforms into a stylish restaurant and bar. The menu offers an all-you-can-eat-and-drink option, featuring a set that allows you to compare Matsuzaka beef and Kobe beef. Of course, you have to enjoy red wine with your churrasco, so I kept ordering it while feasting on all the meat.
First, a salad was served, and then I could grab skewers at my leisure. I got to enjoy a variety of dishes including sausages, pork shoulder, ichibo (a cut of beef), grilled cheese, stuffed mushrooms, lamp pepper steak, baked potatoes, and pork spare ribs! And the main event was the Matsuzaka beef and Kobe beef. I still have a bit of a childish palate, so I preferred the rich and thick Matsuzaka beef. Both were delicious, though! It's not like the sirloin at a teppanyaki restaurant, but you definitely feel like you're eating meat.
After I was completely stuffed, we had the choice of rice dishes to finish off the meal: curry, risotto, or soumen. I went with the risotto. The strong aroma of cheese paired perfectly with the wine! I regret not ordering it earlier. For dessert, we had baked pineapple. I think baked pineapple tastes sweeter, and I absolutely love it. I could probably eat as much as I wanted, but I played it safe and only had two pieces.
The atmosphere is nice, and there are plenty of seats available, making it a great place for company parties, as well as for dates and girls' nights out!
