I visited this restaurant for entertaining overseas clients, and at first glance, it seemed inconspicuous. However, once I passed through the curtain, I was greeted by a lovely counter and small yet elegant table seating. The atmosphere alone made me think, "This is a nice place." The course started off elegantly with a dish of sea bream and sea urchin in edamame sauce. The delicate combination of sea bream and sea urchin wrapped in the sauce was delicious. Each dish that followed was paired with a different sake, and each sake was a perfect choice. The beautiful, fragrant sake paired with elegant Japanese cuisine continued throughout the meal. It was so delicious. I hope to have the opportunity to visit again for another entertaining occasion. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Today, it's another visit to "Konoha" for the "With Beautiful Women's Group"! The beautiful women expressed their desire for matsutake mushrooms and chestnuts, and their wish was granted. (Note: Advance reservation required, special pricing, domestic matsutake mushrooms may not be available) "Konoha" truly lives up to its reputation. The restaurant is packed with sophisticated customers at both the counter and private rooms. Despite the crowd, special dishes were served with a smile. First, we meet today's matsutake mushrooms! They are from Hiroshima and Miyagi prefectures, and they are very impressive domestic matsutake mushrooms with a wonderful aroma. We will enjoy these three matsutake mushrooms in a soup and grilled style. The meal starts with pouring champagne by the sommelier lady owner, and the signature "With Beautiful Women's Group hand" is also present. ① The first course is sea urchin and chestnut, ② sashimi is alfonsino and saury, ③ matsutake mushroom soup with matsutake cooked right in front of us - a truly blissful moment! ④ The main event of the day - grilled matsutake mushrooms! The chef makes a cut, and we break it ourselves. The members of the "With Beautiful Women's Group" reaffirm that this is the best way to enjoy matsutake mushrooms! ⑤ A dish of various delicacies is served. Each dish is incredibly delicious! The female chef apprentice, "Morita-san," explains each dish. She has truly grown into a great chef. ⑥ Abalone simmered dish - we were even given a share by the "With Beautiful Women" members. Such a delightful surprise! We enjoyed the recommended sake by the sommelier lady owner. She completely understands the sake preferences of the "With Beautiful Women" group. It was surprising! "A clean finish, refreshing, slightly dry" - the sake was exactly as described. ⑦ Now, it's time for "Konoha's" specialty, tempura. We had dishes like shrimp, mushrooms, scallops, and eel. I apologize for forgetting the names of the rare ingredients served... I'm sorry! It's always a happy time. ⑧ For the main meal, we had another main dish requested by the beautiful women - chestnut rice. This chestnut rice was filled with chestnuts, giving the feeling of rice within chestnuts. Since we couldn't finish it all, we took the leftovers as a souvenir. ⑨ We ended the meal with tea and sweets, along with matcha. Today's lunch at "Konoha" was once again incredibly satisfying!

Today, I had another delightful dining experience at "Konoha-san" with the "Beautiful Women's Group". Even though it was between the first and second "ushi" days of summer, we decided to skip the eel and instead ordered a special set meal featuring the favorite food of the "beautiful women" - corn. The set meal, which required advance reservation at a special price, was beautifully presented as shown in the photos. "Konoha-san" specializes in tempura as their main dish, offering seasonal, visually appealing, and delicious meals that bring happiness. For the finale, they prepared a "tempura corn" dish, which is one of the "beautiful women's" favorites. The tea sweets were made by the talented chef, Morita-san, and were perfect for the summer season. One of the dishes in the eight-course meal was also expertly prepared by the chef. The restaurant continues to impress with its delicious food, excellent service from the chef and staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. It was truly a blissful lunchtime at the "Number One Japanese Restaurant on Earth"!

Today's "Konoha" once again hosted the "With Beautiful Women's Gathering", and this time it's a shout-out to the beautiful chef apprentice, Morita, from the "Best Japanese Cuisine Restaurant"! We indulged in a feast of Matsuba crabs, weighing over 1kg, prepared in sashimi, shabu-shabu, steamed, and grilled styles, as part of the luxurious crab course at "Konoha" (advance reservation required, special pricing, subject to crab market prices). The dishes were as shown in the photos. This time, we had the rare appearance of the "Beautiful Women's Hands"! As usual, we toasted with a bottle of champagne! Starting with the Shirasae shrimp appetizer, which was incredibly delicious and got our excitement levels up. Then came the Matsuba crabs, with the head chef himself preparing them, creating a truly luxurious crab dining experience. From crab leg sashimi to shabu-shabu, grilled crab, steamed crab, crab miso, and more, the cooking methods at "Konoha" bring out the freshness of the crab like no other, offering a top-tier crab dining experience that can't be found elsewhere. The "Beautiful Women" praised the simple yet skillful cooking techniques at "Konoha" that enhance the deliciousness of the crab ingredients even more! Additionally, we enjoyed the signature tempura and tea ceremony at "Konoha" as the perfect ending to our indulgent lunch. Oh, wait, I almost forgot about Morita-san! She is a hardworking female chef apprentice who puts her all into cooking and serving. She excels in everything she does, from getting the perfect temperature for hot sake to expertly pouring champagne with a smile. She even goes out of her way to pick up customers who can't find the restaurant. Today, we also tried a strawberry dessert made by Morita-san, which had a gentle and kind flavor, just like her personality. With her determination, she is sure to become a top-class chef in the future! Looking forward to trying the appetizer she prepares next time. Another satisfying experience at "Konoha"!

After a long time, I felt like eating delicious Japanese food... so I made a reservation through Ikyu and visited "Konoha". It started with my favorite sea urchin, eggplant, and chestnut with a gentle seasoning. The crab dumplings in the soup were delicious ❤️ perfect with the rich broth. The assorted appetizers, especially the boiled prawns, were my favorite (*^-^)♪ The abalone and taro in sauce had tender abalone and the generous sauce was delicious. Then, it was time for tempura! Just the right amount. The large okra had a nice aroma trapped in the batter. I liked the rare texture of the scallop. It was my first time trying root celery. Was it the last pike conger of the year? The sea urchin and snow salt were perfectly balanced. The salmon roe and chrysanthemum mixed rice had a popping sensation and a good aroma, making it a satisfying meal. I had the leftovers as rice balls and enjoyed it twice (๑>◡<๑)

In Osaka, I decided to try a new restaurant called "Konoha" today as I have been going to the same places for a while. They moved from Tosa-bori about 3 years ago and have received mixed reviews with a low rating. With a mix of excitement and a little bit of anxiety, I made my first visit. Located one street north of Chuo-dori, the restaurant has a charming atmosphere amidst the lined buildings. The elegant and calming interior raised my expectations. Below is a review of the 17,000 yen chef's choice course: - Abalone Vinegar Dish: Perfect for a hot day! The vinegar seasoning steals the show, even though the abalone is great. It's exquisite. - Yomogi Roll and Ako (monkfish) with Rice Flour: The crispy texture of the rice flour and the softness of the monkfish are amazing. - Sashimi: The flounder and bonito with Tosa soy sauce and ponzu are sweet and chewy, especially the flounder liver is superb. The bonito is impressive, but the flounder steals the show. - Appetizers: Includes tamago (egg), eel roll, and edamame. The rolled small fish is outstanding. - Grilled Salmon Skin: Fragrant and goes well with garlic miso, perfect with sake. - Fried Blowfish Milt: Moist inside, delicious but slightly overshadowed by the seaweed. The seaweed flavor is exceptional. - Fried Prawn Head: A refined and flavorful dish, both the head and the body are delicious. - Squid Tempura: Topped with sea urchin, the rich sea urchin competes with the squid. - Asparagus: Delicious! Sweet and rich, it's divine. - Young Ayu (sweetfish): Sweet with a hint of bitterness, very tasty. - Flat Clam: The clam is delicious, but the seaweed is exceptional. - Baby Corn: The crispy texture is enjoyable, and the strong seasoning is irresistible. - Bean Rice: Lightly flavored bean mixed rice. The pickles are also delicious. Overall, I went in with little information but had a truly wonderful time. Despite the limited reviews, most people praise it, and I understand why. It's a great find. The service was also exceptional, and I definitely want to visit again. Oh, it was delicious!

<I went to Kono-ha for a business dinner in Osaka> Once again, I am grateful for the wonderful hospitality. We had the lunch course, which included appetizers, sashimi, and tempura, all of which were delicious and went well with the sake. The tempura made with green onions from Shimonita was particularly amazing. For dessert, we had a Christmas wreath-shaped sweet and matcha tea. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Today's "Kono wa" with Beautiful Women's Club is all about "Matsubagani" (snow crab) - a winter staple! The chef himself prepares a massive 1.2kg Matsubagani for the Beautiful Women members, serving it in various ways like sashimi, steamed, grilled, sake in the shell, tempura, and more! Additionally, we enjoy an appetizer, a main tempura dish, a tempura rice bowl, green tea, and more, making it a luxurious Japanese cuisine experience. Each time, the chef offers a course featuring high-quality ingredients requested by the Beautiful Women members. The two beautiful apprentice chefs also delight us with their appetizer, traditional Japanese sweets, and lovely smiles. For the Beautiful Women, this restaurant is not just the best in Honmachi, Osaka, Kansai, or even Japan - it's the best in the world!
