This restaurant is located in the Hikari district near Kita 8-jo Street. Next to it is the conveyor belt sushi restaurant Triton. I used a crowdfunding meal voucher before and the Wagyu beef I had for lunch was delicious with good quality, so this time I ordered the same thing again. Wagyu Beef Aburi Kalbi Set 90g (1133 yen) - Additional +30g of meat (+253 yen) Includes Wagyu beef aburi kalbi, cabbage rice, soup, fresh vegetable salad, bean sprout namul, kimchi, pumpkin * There is cabbage under the meat as well. It's been a while since I had it, but the meat seemed a bit thinner and more fragile compared to before. I wonder if the meat was like this last time? The taste itself was delicious though. Well, as long as the total weight is as specified even if it's thinly sliced, I have no complaints. Lunch Drink: Ginger Ale (132 yen) Added Vanilla Ice Cream (132 yen) I think I will visit again for lunch. Thank you for the meal. ---------- [Crowdfunding in Sapporo City] You can support a designated restaurant by depositing 1000 yen per share, which the city will subsidize to 1300 yen and prepay to the restaurant. Then, within the specified period, you can use it as a 1300 yen meal voucher when you visit the store. The new application started this month, and I was planning to apply for this restaurant again, but for some reason, when I checked a few hours after the start, it was already sold out. I wonder if someone bought them all right after the start? That's too bad.

"I visited the yakiniku restaurant "Yakiniku Tokuju Koseiten" after receiving a request to eat yakiniku! It was a little past 6:30 pm on a Saturday and the place was extremely crowded, so making a reservation was definitely the right choice. Before heading there, I had a few drinks, so I started with the "Tokusan Lemon Sour @473 yen (tax included)" for a toast! The portion was small but the strong carbonation and refreshing lemon scent were nice. On this day, I ordered: - "Tokuju Set B @3,850 yen (tax included)" - "Tsubozuke Sagari @1,419 yen (tax included)" - "Wagyu Seared Kalbi @935 yen (tax included)" - "Chicken Seseri @682 yen (tax included)" - "Grilled Vegetable Assortment @572 yen (tax included)" - "Yukhoe @1,155 yen (tax included)" - "Soup Set @572 yen (tax included)" - "Sudachi Cold Noodles (Half) @660 yen (tax included)" - "Yukhoe Jang Ramen (Half) @660 yen (tax included)" - "Pickled Vegetable Assortment @803 yen (tax included)" All the meat was marinated and tender, and the rich sauce was delicious. While the individual meat dishes were good, the Tokuju Set included 400g of Wagyu Kalbi, Wagyu Red Meat Sirloin, Sagari, and Pork Kalbi, making it a satisfying choice. The Yukhoe was still packaged frozen, but the taste was great. With all the food and drinks, I spent around 5,000 yen per person, making it a good value for money! This chain restaurant is definitely a reliable and delicious choice for yakiniku. Once again, thank you for the delicious meal!"

During my business trip in Sapporo, I visited the Yakiniku Tokusu Kosei store for lunch with my business partner and their child. The location is about a 10-minute walk from Higashi Ward Office Station, next to Triton. Tokusu is a major local chain of yakiniku restaurants with stores mainly in Sapporo and around Hokkaido. We arrived around 12:40 and managed to slip in despite the almost full house. The bright and clean interior was welcoming. For lunch, we opted for the cost-effective lunch menu with additional a la carte items. With 2 adults and a 5-year-old, we ordered the following: - Half & Half (Half Yakiniku Don & Half Cold Noodles) 990 yen - Spicy Sundubu Jjigae Set: Seafood Sundubu (Extra Spicy, Extra Rice) 1,419 yen - Topping: Mixed Cheese 132 yen - Rice (Medium) 319 yen - Cucumber Pickles 495 yen - Korean Seaweed 275 yen - Chorogi Salad 605 yen - Negi Shio Tan (Green Onion Salted Tongue) 1,210 yen - Wagyu Kalbi (Marinated) 1,067 yen - Wagyu Red Meat Sirloin (Marinated) 1,045 yen - Sausage Assortment 880 yen - Orange Juice 165 yen The total came to 8,602 yen. Considering the level of satisfaction, the lunchtime cost performance is quite high. Tokusu is popular among families with children, so I highly recommend visiting it at least once.

I was looking for a place to have lunch and decided to try Triton, but the wait was 1 hour and it was too long for me. I couldn't wait, so I ended up going to the neighboring Tokujyu, where there was a wait for two groups. The wait was longer than I expected, and it took another hour until the food was served. Maybe I made a mistake in my decision? (laughs) I ordered the lunch set with Bibimbap and cold noodles, and added hormone (offal) since I was already there. Thank you for the meal.

This was my first visit to Tokutaro, and I was able to sit and relax by myself as the lunchtime crowd had died down a bit. It had a nice atmosphere, giving off the impression of a good quality grill restaurant. As I've gotten older, I find heavy, fatty meats a bit too much, so I decided to avoid the kalbi. If I were younger, I could probably eat a lot of it. Instead, I tried the sagari steak. Although it seemed like it might be fatty, I was surprised at how quickly I finished it.

When work finishes early and I feel like having a party, I head to Tokusue! Since it's still a weekday, I opt for a reasonably priced set. I definitely order beer. On the plate, there's tongue, intestines, skirt steak, ribs, and hormone. It's more than enough. I also got rice, kimchi, and soup at a good deal. One soup is egg soup, the other is cold noodles, so I can enjoy both! I love Tokusue's cold noodles~ I thought there was less meat than usual, but I ended up feeling quite full. It was just the right amount. Enjoying delicious food at a reasonable price made me happy on a weekday. I can tackle work tomorrow with renewed energy! Thank you for the meal.

I went to a yakiniku restaurant in Sapporo for the first time in a while. I mostly ordered beef, and the beef tongue had a crispy texture and was delicious. However, the most delicious thing for me was the beef kalbi ramen! I want to eat this ramen again!

I have often been to Tokuju-san on Tanuki Koji, but this was my first time at Ko-sei-ten. Next to it is Triton, so I couldn't resist going for sushi. Haha~ This time, I made up my mind and went for yakiniku! They have Shiraoi beef, but it's more expensive than the Tanuki Koji branch, so I ordered the lunch set. Salted tongue + Wagyu kalbi + sagari, it was a great combination. The tongue was the most delicious. It was tender with a good chew, and the Wagyu kalbi had a perfect balance of fat, not too heavy. The sagari had a slightly light flavor, with a solid meaty texture, allowing you to enjoy various textures with the 3 types of meat in the set.

"I visited Yakiniku Tokuju Kosei Mitsuboshi store for dinner on a holiday. I made a reservation in advance, which turned out to be a great decision! It was just before 6:00 pm, but without a reservation, we wouldn't have been able to get a table right away due to the bustling crowd. Despite the challenging times of the past few years due to the pandemic, it seems like things are starting to settle down a bit now. To start off, we had Tokusan's Lemon Sour for 430 yen to cheers to a well-deserved break! This time, we ordered: - Tokuju Set B for 3,500 yen - Soup Set for 520 yen - Beef Liver (Spicy Miso) for 600 yen - Yukhoe (Seasoned Raw Beef) for 1,050 yen - Kelan Chim for 390 yen - Spicy Oi Kimchi for 420 yen - Kalbi Ramen (Half) with level 4 spiciness for 600 yen - Fresh Strawberries for 460 yen The meat in the Tokuju set includes Japanese beef kalbi, loin, sagari, Japanese beef lean loin, and pork kalbi, all of which were tender and delicious with tasty sauce. Each portion was 100g, making a total of 400g, which was quite satisfying on its own. Apart from the yakiniku, we also ordered the Korean-style steamed egg dish Kelan Chim and the delicious Yukhoe, both of which were excellent. The Kalbi Ramen we had as the finishing touch might even be better than ramen from some dedicated ramen shops. We also enjoyed drinks like Lemon Sour x2, a strong Highball, and had a pleasant tipsy feeling. With all the food and drinks, the total bill was around 5,000 yen per person, which was quite reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. This place truly offers a reliable and enjoyable yakiniku experience. Once again, thank you for the delicious meal!"

I didn't have breakfast, so I was really hungry for lunch. I felt like having yakiniku, so I went to Tokusuke. They have a variety of lunch sets that all look appealing. The fact that you can get free rice refills is great. Each set comes with salad, soup, and kimchi, which is a nice bonus. I ordered the Tokuset, which includes kalbi, sagari, and beef tongue. It's a good deal at around 1,800 yen. The kalbi is sweet and the rice goes well with it. The sagari has a rich meaty flavor. The beef tongue is also excellent. All the portions are generous, so it's quite satisfying. I believe eating yakiniku for lunch brings happiness and releases endorphins. Thank you for the delicious meal.

For just 1,100 yen excluding tax, you can enjoy a photo-worthy kalbi set meal, with unlimited rice refills. As someone who can easily eat two pieces of meat with a bowl of rice, this place feels like heaven to me. The seating is great, with some areas feeling like semi-private rooms, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. The location is also convenient, as it is close to a commercial facility where you can shop after your meal.

Yakiniku is always a great choice for a meal, and today was the perfect day for it! We decided to go to a yakiniku restaurant, but unfortunately, it was closed on Sundays. So, we ended up going to Tokuju instead. We didn't have a reservation, but we were able to get a table easily since we went early. We started off with some beer. For the meat, we ordered my favorite, skirt steak, as well as ribeye, chuck flap tail, and lamb. The ribeye was sweet and delicious, the skirt steak was tender, and the chuck flap tail was consistent. However, the lamb had a bit of a gamey flavor, especially with the soy sauce-based marinade we chose. I think a different marinade would have been better. The lamb might appeal to those who enjoy that flavor though! Next time, I want to try it with a different sauce. The skirt steak was a winner, and we enjoyed it with some rice. Afterward, we finished off with a garlic seaweed soup. The garlic was large and soft, making it a great way to end the meal. Yakiniku always makes me happy. I had a beer and then switched to a lemon sour, making it a perfect dinner. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I had some errands to run nearby and felt like grabbing a light snack, so I ended up at Triton. There was also Tokuju-san in the same area. I couldn't really have barbecue there, so I was thinking about what to eat when I saw a sign on the wall that said "& Sweets"! So, I decided to go there. I ordered a set of a choice of cake and a choice of sweets. The Sweet Plate Set was 650 yen (715 yen including tax) and I chose Chocomont Blanc (506 yen including tax) and Catarana (341 yen including tax) as my sweets. The Chocomont Blanc had a slight bitterness to it, which went well with the cream inside. The Catarana was a bit too sweet for my liking, so I balanced it out with some crepe fruit juice. All of this cost me 880 yen in total! It felt like a good deal. They also had Wi-Fi, so I was able to enjoy my sweets while uploading this review, even though I could smell the barbecue from other tables.

Located in Higashi-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, at 5-19-1 Kita 8-jo Higashi, Yakiniku Tokusu is a spacious restaurant along Kita 8-jo Street. It shares the same premises as Seven Eleven and the revolving sushi restaurant Triton, with ample parking available. Tokusu is a chain of yakiniku restaurants in Sapporo. I visited during lunchtime on a weekday at 12 pm. As soon as I entered, the staff greeted me and promptly showed me to a table. Despite dining alone, they seated me at a spacious round table for four. Many salarymen and housewives were enjoying yakiniku for lunch. The interior seemed to have been renovated, as it was very clean and provided a comfortable dining space. I ordered the following: - Wagyu seared kalbi set (90g) for 1,133 yen - Extra meat +30g for 253 yen The lunch menu and grand menu were placed on the table, featuring appetizing photos. The regular portion was 90g, and the photo showed the large portion with an additional 30g, totaling 120g. I opted for the larger portion without hesitation. The thinly sliced Wagyu kalbi consisted of 8 pieces, served with cabbage underneath. The set also included rice, soup, salad, kimchi, and namul. Rice options included extra-large, large, medium, and small. The soup was a light seaweed soup with a salty broth. The salad comprised shredded daikon, finely chopped paprika for color, corn, and more. There was also white cabbage kimchi, bean sprout namul, and pumpkin. I proceeded to grill the meat on the table's gas stove. The sauce was a light one with added spicy miso for extra flavor. The thin slices of meat cooked quickly, releasing the sweet beef fat. The rice was delicious, and opting for the larger portion was the right choice. With the additional 30g, the 120g kalbi was very filling, offering a satisfying meal.

Tokuso is a place I occasionally use for lunch, but tonight might be my first time coming here at night. It's crowded! It seemed like quite a wait, so I just made a reservation and went out to do some shopping. I came back and waited for about 10 minutes. Today, I'm going to drink, so cheers with a beer. I ordered the usual beef tongue, kalbi, and sagari. I love seseri, so I ordered that too. And without thinking about the next day, garlic! It was my first time trying garlic at Tokuso, but it was so delicious and fluffy - it goes well with alcohol. Finally, we shared a cold noodle. It had the usual great taste. The number one dish today is probably the garlic. I will definitely order it again! Thank you for the meal.

I visited "Yakiniku Tokuju Mitsuboshi-ten" on August 16th for the first time. I went with a friend for lunch at 2:40 pm. We were seated at a table for 4 by the window. There was a red cloth partition between our table and the one next to us, maybe for COVID-19 measures. The staff informed us to press a button when we were ready to order, but we couldn't find the call button at first. It was actually incorporated into the switches on the tabletop grill. The staff were all wearing Okinawan-style shirts, probably related to a past campaign they had. I ordered the Wagyu seared kalbi set lunch for 1,133 yen, and added a half portion of Morioka cold noodles for 385 yen. The set came with chicken and seaweed Chinese soup, salad with green onions, bean sprout namul, kimchi, and yuzu daikon. I chose the large size for the rice. The portion sizes should be indicated in grams, but since rice is refillable, it wasn't a big issue. My friend ordered the regular Morioka cold noodles for 880 yen. We also checked the table for a flyer about a 500 yen discount coupon available for immediate use on purchases over 2,000 yen by joining the Club Shinsen-kumi LINE. The coupon is valid until November 13th, with a limit on the number of coupons issued. More details can be found at https://500enwari.jp/. The food was delicious, especially the Wagyu kalbi which was thinly sliced and cooked perfectly on the grill. The balance of meat and fat was great, and the cabbage served with the meat was a nice touch. The price for this quality of food was quite reasonable. I was already getting full after the meat, so my friend helped me finish the cold noodles. The noodles were made from starch and wheat, giving them a smooth and slippery texture. We received a 1,000 yen discount coupon for our next visit as part of a summer festival campaign for spending over 3,000 yen. We definitely plan to come back again. Thank you for the meal.

"Yakiniku Tokusu Koseiten" It's been a while since I had yakiniku at the restaurant (*^^*) I visited around 6:00 pm on a weekday evening. It was still early, so I was able to get a table easily. The restaurant has many table seats, bright and clean. The spacing between tables is good, and there are partitions, so it's quite comfortable. First, I had a "Gorotto Ice Lemon Sour @480 yen" to cheers for a hard day's work! I ordered the dinner set A @3,000 yen, as well as the following a la carte items: "Wagyu Tokusu loin (marinated) @870 yen," "Jar-pickled chuck flap @960 yen," "Wagyu Kalbi (marinated) @870 yen," "Yukhoe (marinated raw beef) @960 yen," and "Yukhoe Jang Ramen (half) @570 yen." The set included Wagyu prime Kalbi, prime loin, Wagyu thigh, and aged prime tongue. All of them were delicious, but the Wagyu prime Kalbi was the best!! The rich fat melts in your mouth. The prime loin and prime Kalbi I ordered separately were tender with no gristle, and the thick-cut jar-pickled chuck flap was impressive!! The packaged Yukhoe was also delicious when mixed with the marinade. The Gorotto Ice Lemon Sour was a bit weak, so I ordered a refill of the plain sour (stronger), which was just right. The Yukhoe Jang Ramen I ordered for the finish was almost too much for one person to eat, but I was super full!! This place is indeed a reliable and delicious yakiniku chain (*´ω`) Thank you for the delicious meal!

Today, I was in the mood for yakiniku so I visited Tokuju-san. I think it was my first time at Tokuju-san. I ordered the seared kalbi set meal, with extra meat and extra rice. The set came with about 6 thin slices of meat and cabbage as grilled vegetables. The amount of vegetables was just right, which was good. When you lightly sear the meat, it's ready to eat. It's delicious when paired with the sweet sauce. I wanted to eat about 10 more slices. It cost around 1200 yen, so I felt it was reasonably priced. I wonder how it would be at night.

Today, four of us had yakiniku (Japanese BBQ). We made a reservation the day before just to be safe. We arrived before our reservation time and were smoothly seated. First, we ordered drinks. I had beer, while the others had soft drinks. We ordered a beef tongue assortment, Tokuju set A, followed by beef liver, hormone raw lamb, pickled vegetables assortment, seafood chijimi, rice, and finally Tokuju parfait. We enjoyed grilling, drinking, eating, and chatting, keeping ourselves busy. I always struggle with how to grill the beef tongue with salt and green onions. Can someone teach me how to do it deliciously? The meat was delicious! The parfait was also amazing, as expected from Tokuju. The only downside was the rice, which was dry. Despite feeling full from all the meat, my husband stopped after two bites. I ended up finishing his leftovers, making my stomach even fuller. I am satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

The other day, I watched the yakiniku movie "Food Luck" directed by Jimon Terakado. It was quite enjoyable, with his typical quirky style. However, there was one taboo in the production. They piled a lot of meat on the grill to make it look delicious! It's fine for a large group, but with only 2 cast members, they should have cooked only what they were going to eat. Otherwise, the pace of cooking and eating didn't match, and the meat ended up overcooked and tough in the latter part. This is a taboo in yakiniku (Japanese BBQ). For Saturday lunch, I chose a yakiniku restaurant where I could smoothly get a seat while the nearby Triton was bustling with customers. I ordered: - Wagyu seared kalbi set - Stamina A set (skirt meat, pork hormone miso) - Gyeranjjim (Korean-style steamed egg) Since I don't drink alcohol during lunch, I enjoyed the meal and rice. I tried Gyeranjjim for the first time this time. It's a dish where fluffy eggs are steamed like chawanmushi (savory egg custard). It wasn't particularly impressive. I would prefer chawanmushi over this. That's how it felt.
