Last Friday, I made a reservation at 4:30 PM to visit the restaurant with my junior colleague for the first time. Initially, I had booked the all-you-can-drink and eat option at Kōmanrō for 3,300 yen, but we ended up at Fukukagen, which just opened on the east side of Nishinakajima Minamikata Station.
When we arrived, we were given an explanation of the restaurant's system, and after ordering drinks (draft beer), we received five dishes (chicken salad, dumplings, mapo tofu, sweet and sour pork, and shrimp chili) as our priority items. We were informed that we could choose the remaining dishes ourselves, and we finished with dessert.
We had a two-hour time limit, during which we ordered more dishes: stir-fried beef with bell peppers, twice-cooked pork, Moo Shu pork, stir-fried liver with garlic chives, fried chicken, lettuce fried rice, and almond jelly for dessert. The flavors were tailored to suit Japanese tastes, making the food very easy to enjoy and delicious.
The staff, who were all Chinese women, provided prompt service. Considering we ate and drank this much for just 3,000 yen, it was a fantastic deal! The location is right in front of 7-Eleven at 3-13-1 Nishinakajima. Making a reservation is definitely the way to go, and it's popular with young groups. The business hours are from 5 PM to 11 PM. I highly recommend giving it a try!
