I had never seen Lake Shuparo or Shuparo Dam before, so I went on a drive to check them out. While exploring around the dam, I got really hungry! I found this restaurant on the way to the dam and decided to try their Dam Curry. When I walked in, I was greeted by an exciting and fun atmosphere. The menu was simple with options like Shuparo Dam Curry, limited quantity Napolitan, Coal Coffee (hot or cold), Hard-to-drink Soda, and Fool's Guard. The owner, who also runs a gas station, started the "Shuparo Dam Curry" (900 yen) to revitalize the local area. The curry, served on rice shaped like the dam, was spicy and flavorful. It even had a hidden octopus-shaped wiener and potato salad resembling Yubari melon. The rice was perfect in texture and taste, making me wonder where it came from. I also tried the "Hard-to-drink Soda" (500 yen), which was delicious but indeed hard to drink! My companion struggled to drink it without spilling, but enjoyed it nonetheless. I regret not trying the Napolitan, so I'll definitely go back to try both the curry and Napolitan next time. Thank you, TK-san, for the wonderful meal!
