A Western-style restaurant located in a residential area of Asahikawa City, Harukou. I used to pass by often, but the lunchtime always seemed crowded, so I visited during the evening. The restaurant opened at 5:30 pm, and about 20 minutes after opening, there were no customers yet. A few customers started coming in gradually. The interior of the restaurant had a very clean atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and provided good service. I ordered their popular menu item, "Dutch oven stewed hamburger" (1,000 yen), along with the option to add "rice and mini salad" (500 yen). (During lunchtime, bread or rice is included in the lunch menu.) The food was served in about 10 minutes. The staff opened the lid of the Dutch oven at the table. The Dutch oven stewed hamburger included turnips, broccoli, baby corn, daikon radish, carrots, grilled pumpkin, potatoes, and eggplant. The hamburger was placed under the vegetables, towards the bottom of the Dutch oven. It's hard to capture just the hamburger, but it was quite large. It was stewed in a tomato-flavored sauce and topped with plenty of bechamel sauce. The hamburger, with a nice sear, was very tender, and the tomato sauce and bechamel sauce enhanced its flavor even more. The large-cut vegetables were also very delicious, especially the tender pumpkin and potatoes. The salad included lettuce, red core radish, zucchini, tomato, and cucumber, with dressing and whole grain mustard on the side. The salad, which can be ordered as a set with the main dish, was also quite substantial. This restaurant offers a variety of popular Western dishes, and I noticed many other tempting menu items as well!
