Just a one-minute walk from Omotesando Station, this restaurant, which opened in June, specializes in rice bowls and tea, originating from Sydney. They feature carefully selected ingredients, including A5 ranked Wagyu beef and eel, allowing diners to enjoy the pairing of dishes with Taiwanese tea. While the A5 ranked Wagyu beef rice bowl seems to be the most popular item, I was particularly intrigued by the eel. I ordered the "Supreme Eel Hitsumabushi Set," topped with fluffy egg and cheese, giving it a slightly Western twist. The best part was that I could change the flavor towards the end by adding condiments and broth for a rice porridge style. The atmosphere was mostly filled with foreign diners. The food was delicious, but I found the prices to be a bit high, which made the cost-performance ratio less favorable. Additionally, the restaurant was quite crowded, and perhaps due to a shortage of staff, the food took a while to be served. I recommend going alone for a quick meal or allowing some extra time to relax.

I made a reservation on a weekday for the A5 Wagyu Mabushi set meal. It seemed that most of the customers were foreign tourists. I noticed that some foreign visitors who didn't have a reservation were writing their names on the waiting board as they came and went. The lunch, priced at around 3,500 yen, is quite expensive, but it was absolutely delicious. The meat was so tender that it melted in my mouth, and it was elegantly thin and soft. They suggested leaving about 70% of the meal to enjoy with tea porridge, and I carefully left that amount. When mixed with the broth, it went down easily and was very enjoyable. At first, when the meal arrived, I thought it looked a bit small, but as I kept eating, I found it quite filling. The shiso flowers added a nice aromatic touch and enhanced the flavor. The ordering and payment were done via a QR code; I scanned it to place my order and handled the payment online after finishing my meal.

I came to this restaurant after seeing a short video on social media. You can also make a reservation through Tabelog, which allows you to use points, so it's quite convenient. It's located just off a side street in Omotesando, blending into a residential area. The atmosphere is chic and clean. While there aren't many seats, it feels like a place where you can relax comfortably. I ordered the Wagyu set with a matcha tiramisu. The Wagyu set was as expected, but it didn't really leave a lasting impression. However, turning it into a dashi ochazuke for a flavor change was delicious. The portion might be a bit on the smaller side for men, so the cost performance isn't great. The matcha tiramisu had a moderate sweetness and a decent portion size. The tea was excellent, so I recommend ordering it together with your meal.

I made a reservation for Saturday lunch and visited the restaurant. Given its location in Omotesando, the decor was more upscale compared to the Redfern spot in Sydney. The back of the restaurant had private rooms and was fully booked with reservation guests. About 70% of the customers appeared to be international tourists, while the remainder were pairs or couples of Japanese women (or married couples), covering a mix of ages, including some in their 50s and 60s. I chose the Ultimate Eel Hitsumabushi set (3,380 yen) after contemplating between it and the Wagyu beef. I was tempted by the beauty of the egg and decided on the eel. Inside the fluffy omelet rice, there were generous chunks of eel. By adding various condiments, I enjoyed changing the flavors and finished it off in an ochazuke style. I was able to eat without getting bored until the end. The miso soup was also delicious, though I found the bowl a bit difficult to hold (not to the point of being undrinkable, but it made savoring it challenging). For dessert, I had the freshly made black sesame warabi mochi and matcha tiramisu (which costs 900 yen if ordered individually, but there's a great set discount available). The warabi mochi had a gentle taste and a firm texture, and with the cream included, it was quite filling. Thank you for the meal!

The staff were fluent in English and there was an English menu, giving the impression that there were many tourists from overseas. I ordered the Wagyu Mabuzi Don, along with tea and dessert (matcha tiramisu). They provided a very thorough explanation of how to enjoy the meal, and I was able to spend a relaxing time there. The restaurant isn't very large, so I think it's more suitable for small groups. There were also various types of set meals and teas available, so I would like to visit again.

I visited this place through a friend's introduction. It’s a stylish Japanese modern restaurant located just off Omotesando Station in a quiet alley. Most of the customers are women, but the calm atmosphere makes it suitable for dates as well. I ordered the popular roast beef and an unagi omelette rice. The pairing with Chinese tea was exquisite. The dessert was not too sweet, making it easy to enjoy. The dishes are filled with the owner’s love, and I will definitely come back. Thank you very much.

It's just a minute's walk from Omotesando Station, and it features a stylish semi-basement space! I visited during lunch, and the shop had a calm atmosphere, making it very comfortable. The menu features four types of rice bowls, popular at the Sydney original, which have been slightly adjusted in taste using Japanese ingredients for better acceptance among Japanese diners. Additionally, the dishes are presented as set meals. Given the location, the main target demographic consists of inbound tourists and foreign residents of Asian descent living in Japan. However, more people have been catching on via social media and are starting to visit. This time, I tried a variation of the Hitsumabushi, which I had in Sydney. While many customers there typically pour broth over their dish right from the start, here they illustrate how to enjoy it. The presentation resembles a dressed omelet rice, with grilled eel hidden beneath the egg. The sauce is mixed with the rice from the beginning, but it has a milder taste than in Sydney. The salt, sesame sauce, and ponzu were provided, but I found that enjoying it simply with salt was the best! The portion was quite generous for one person, so we shared it. This dish is definitely worth trying. For dessert, I selected the "Black Sesame Warabi Mochi." Foreign guests might not be accustomed to kinako, so cream was provided to avoid choking on it. The cream was perfectly rich and utterly delicious—not too heavy, not too light, just an elegant flavor. I finished it all in no time. Here are the prices before the discount: ★ Unagi Hitsumabushi Gozen - 3,380 yen Includes soy sauce rice, grilled unagi, shiso, sansho pepper, omelet, Gouda cheese, arare (rice crackers), seaweed, miso, wasabi, and a small dish with hojicha broth, pickles, and miso soup. ★ Gozen + Tea & Dessert Set - 1,200 yen Includes West Lake Longjing tea and black sesame warabi mochi. On top of the beautifully runny omelet, there's Gouda cheese, and inside, there's rice coated with a sauce that has the fragrance of shiso and sansho. I was pleasantly surprised by how much unagi was included! Since it’s hitsumabushi, I finished the meal by pouring broth over it. The hojicha broth was rich enough that it didn't get overpowered by the wasabi or garnishes. Even after eating the unagi, the flavored rice and cheese were delicious on their own. The refreshing green tea paired wonderfully with the unagi's richness. They also refill the tea, making it perfect to enjoy alongside dessert. The warabi mochi had a satisfying amount as well. This is quite an interesting place that has opened!
