I had some ramen in Ishikari City and the pork was too tough to chew, leaving an unpleasant taste in my mouth. So, I decided to stop by McDonald's for a palate cleanser. I was hoping they had a new shake flavor, but they still had the Yubari melon shake. I ordered a medium size and waited for my order number to be called on the monitor. The service didn't bring the shake to my table since this McDonald's is in a food court and shared with other stores. The shake came in a regular cup instead of a special one. The shake was a bit small, but it was cold and refreshing. I enjoyed sipping on it while browsing the news on my phone. Surprisingly, it tasted better than the regular menu items.

One weekend, I had lunch at a McDonald's in Tarukawa, Ishikari City. The seating area was somewhat busy, with half of the seats taken out for social distancing. I tried the new "McFizz White Peach (coupon 240 yen)" and "Hot Coffee M (campaign 100 yen)" from the menu. The McFizz had a sweet and unique flavor, with 1% white peach juice from Iwate Prefecture. It was a sweet, slightly carbonated drink. I finished with the hot coffee and enjoyed a relaxing time. Thank you for the meal.

On a certain weekday, which happened to be a festive holiday, I visited a McDonald's inside the Tarukawa Super Big House in Ishikari City for lunch. The parking lot is spacious as it is part of the Big House complex, allowing for plenty of parking spaces. The store is located at the right end of the entrance, next to a yakitori restaurant, and shares a food court area. The place was quite crowded, and it seemed like the yakitori restaurant was more popular, which made me feel a bit sorry for McDonald's. The background music playing was typical supermarket music. Since I had just eaten lunch, I decided to keep it simple and ordered a large fries (with a coupon for 190 yen) and a medium iced coffee (with a coupon for 120 yen). The fries were relatively fresh and hot, probably due to the high turnover during that time, but I couldn't help but wonder if the frying oil was a bit worn out. On the other hand, the iced coffee was not as good, probably because it was a slow period. Luckily, I found a seat this time. Overall, it was a decent meal.

I walked from Gatokin and took a break because I was thirsty. It's hot, so a shake is perfect, right? I stopped by the McDonald's in the Big House. By the way, is a shake considered ice cream or a drink? Since a shake is made with ice cream and milk, it's a drink, right? It comes with a straw. I ordered a Medium Peach Shake for 200 yen, which was a limited-time offer. It was cold and delicious, and quenched my thirst. It had a slightly sour taste compared to vanilla, and you could really taste the peach flavor. At first, it was hard to suck through the straw, but overall, it was enjoyable. Now that I've rested, time to walk again! Thank you for the meal!

I visited for lunch. It was not crowded as I arrived in the early afternoon. The menu has a lot of options, so I always have trouble deciding. I ordered the "Big Mac BLT Set" that I was curious about from the commercial. I don't usually order Big Mac, but I had to try this limited-time product! The Big Mac is indeed big and hard to eat. The bacon was delicious. The lettuce cuts are small, so they tend to fall out from the back... Am I the only one who thinks a larger size would be easier to eat? It was delicious to eat a Big Mac after many years. I want to go buy it again when I'm nearby. Thank you for the meal!

On September 27th (Sunday) at 6:30 PM, on my way back from work in the Hanakawa area, I discovered a McDonald's sign. It's a small nostalgic shop inside the Big House Hanakawa store. It feels like the old Big House Kosei store. There is no breakfast menu, drive-thru, playroom, counter seats, or outlets. It's good for a casual eat-in while shopping. They don't offer the Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, so I ordered a hamburger and some chewy cheese balls. I waited for a while until it was ready and then enjoyed the freshly made food. Thank you for the meal.
