The noodles are thin and have a good texture, with a strong flavor that stands out in the town of Mombetsu. Personally, I prefer thick and flavorful country-style soba, but I find these thin noodles delicious as well. This soba is perfect for those who don't like the strong flavor of country-style soba (lol). The portion size is small and there is no option for a large serving. I'm not sure if it's due to the cost or the portion size, but if you want to eat until you're full, two servings of soba should be enough. It's not much different from the large servings at regular soba restaurants. Everyone has their own preferences, but I recommend trying it at least once. The atmosphere of the restaurant may be off-putting to some, but once you taste the food, you'll understand. Oh, and the tempura and duck are also delicious.
