Last time we had dinner, but this time it was a long-awaited lunch. In November, they are having a "Fair featuring autumn ingredients from vegetables to fruits". The full course lunch is priced at 3740 yen, but when my family comes, we always order the beef fillet pie for an additional fee (not sure about the exact amount). We also order drinks separately, and I usually have a non-alcoholic sparkling wine (mocktail) called "Handle Keeper". Here is a summary of the dishes we had: [Appetizer] - Terrine of locally grown mushrooms and enoki mushroom fritters with balsamic sauce. The terrine was moist with a nice mushroom flavor that paired well with the balsamic sauce. A great start. [Soup] - Eggplant potage with diced eggplant deep-fried and added in. The overall soup was creamy and smooth with the flavor of cream and milk. [Pasta] - Confit of young chicken breast and burdock pepperoncino. The chicken breast had a strong presence and the addition of burdock to the pasta was innovative and delicious. [Fish dish] - Fresh fish impadella with coriander and fresh tomato aglio e olio sauce. The fish of the day was sea bream with crispy skin and tender white meat. The coriander added a nice touch to the dish. [Meat dish] - Beef fillet pie (menu change upon request). The beef fillet is wrapped in pastry with a rich red wine-based sauce. This dish, which we always request, was a great climax to the meal. [Dessert] - Apple mousse with vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately, there is no photo as it was not captured. The apple mousse was wrapped in cranberry chocolate, creating a refreshing and satisfying sweetness. We ended the meal with coffee and bought some focaccia bread at the entrance. The bread here is truly delicious.

I went to an Italian full-course lunch and saw many forks and knives lined up. I felt embarrassed and checked the order of use. I learned to use them from the outside in. It was a great learning experience for me. I enjoyed the meal! Thank you! I would love to come back if I have the chance again.

I often go to this restaurant with my friends and the food is always delicious and satisfying! The dessert trolley always gets me excited no matter how many times I come ❤️ I also like to buy the same bread I had at the restaurant to take home on the way back! The bread here is soft and chewy, which I love!

I had Christmas dinner. I was worried that the fancy food might not suit my taste, but everything was delicious! The dishes were great, and the staff were very kind, making it a wonderful time. I've been there three times for lunch, a friend's wedding, and dinner, and I've been satisfied every time! I would love to go back if I have the chance.

I received a DM from a restaurant that caught my eye. After thinking about it for a while, I finally made a reservation by phone two days ago. The restaurant is "Foresta Verde" in Bloomington Hill, Takasago-dai, Asahikawa City. It's on the 2nd floor, and the address is 1-1 Takasago-dai, Bloomington Hill, Asahikawa City. They are open from 11:30 to 14:30 and 17:30 to 21:30, closed on Mondays. They have parking and it's non-smoking. I decided to go for the most expensive course they offered, the Anniversary Dinner Course (9 dishes recommended by the chef for 8640 yen). I remembered going there last summer as well. When I arrived at the reserved table, I double-checked the order of forks and knives while the soup was served. It was a cold potage, rich and delicious with a hint of sweetness from the ingredients. I wanted seconds! The appetizer was sashimi, smooth and creamy in texture. Perfect for a hot day. Then came the bread with garlic olive oil and cheese. The duck meat and liver paste appetizer was exceptional, skillfully prepared to enhance the unique flavor without any unpleasantness. The pasta dish was a creamy pasta with UNI on top, which was amazing! The fish dish featured sea bream with shiitake mushrooms, turnips, and cherry tomatoes. A classic dish executed perfectly. The meat dish was the only one that left me wanting more, although it was delicious, it lacked a distinct flavor compared to the other dishes. The dessert was visually appealing and delicious, with raspberry ice cream and mousse. As a DM special, I also received a cake! The high-quality course, excellent service, and lovely location made for a satisfying dinner experience.

This week, I went to lunch for the 14th anniversary event. We got a 20% discount on the cheapest course, and everything was delicious. The appetizer, creamy pasta with small shrimp and cabbage, and bread with a choice of olive oil were all great. The waiter even asked if we wanted seconds for the bread (we said yes, of course!). After finishing our meal, we paid the bill and moved to the third floor for the dessert buffet. Drinks were bottomless, and we could choose three sweets. The chef even cut the cake for us. Overall, everything was delicious and stylish.

I reserved a window seat with a view at night, but instead of the scenery, the reflection of ourselves and the interior of the restaurant was visible on the window due to the lighting inside. Since it was a weekday, there were only 2-3 other groups of customers. I requested a birthday cake service, but I felt a bit unsure about the surprise aspect as I had to show my ID to confirm my birth month. (I wonder if it would be better to inform them when making the reservation?) I had seen a birthday celebration during lunch where the lights were dimmed, lively birthday music played, and the staff brought out a cake while other customers clapped, so this time I requested to just bring the cake normally. You can also take it home. The food was delicious as usual. The dessert and cake were particularly tasty.

I don't get to go very often, but sometimes I feel like dressing up and enjoying a full-course Italian meal while gazing at the night view. The restaurant "Foresta Verde" in Takasago-dai Bloomington Hill is the place for that. Located on the 2nd floor of Bloomington Hill, 1-chome, Takasago-dai, Asahikawa City. Open from 11:30 to 14:30 and 17:30 to 21:30, closed on Mondays. They have parking and smoking is allowed. I made a reservation in advance through a staff member from a previous visit to Bloomington Hill. The building is beautifully lit up at night, making it even more romantic. This time, I had the pleasure of experiencing the August Monthly Dinner, the Carciofo Fair Full Course for 5,400 yen including tax. The dinner at Foresta Verde is about the 4th time for me, but there is always a slight sense of tension. However, the staff at Foresta Verde (and Bloomington Hill in general) are all very pleasant and provide excellent service. The meal began with a delicious quail egg and smoked shrimp appetizer, followed by a refreshing summer vegetable salad with pork belly and prosciutto. The homemade bread was served with a selection of five different olive oils to choose from, which was a fun experience. The pasta course featured chilled capellini with snow crab and small scallops, which was light and tasty. The fish dish was a delicious red snapper with herbs and Hokkaido clams, wrapped in a flavorful package. The meat dish was a spicy tomato sauce with three-way pork and summer vegetables, which was tender and full of flavor. The meal ended with a surprise dessert, where the staff member from Bloomington Hill brought out a personalized treat. Overall, the meal was light and refreshing, perfect for summer, and the service was exceptional, making the dining experience truly enjoyable.

For my husband's birthday, we had a slightly luxurious French dinner. When making the reservation, I informed them of my husband's allergies and dislikes, so we were able to enjoy the meal with peace of mind. They seemed to be in contact with the kitchen via earpieces, adjusting the pace of the meal accordingly. The appetizers, soup, bread, pasta, main course, and dessert were all delicious. Personally, I preferred the dishes before the main course and dessert. I guess it's just a matter of preference. I would like to try their reasonably priced lunch menu as well.

My wife made a reservation for my birthday. The restaurant usually hosts weddings. The restaurant is on the second floor. We were guided by a staff member and took the elevator. The seating arrangement allowed for a peaceful dining experience with enough distance from other tables. We were seated by the window with a great view. I'm not sure which course was reserved, but the soup, appetizers, bread, pasta, main course, and dessert were all delicious. The service was excellent, and the two hours passed by quickly. I left feeling full and satisfied. The restaurant was well done in every aspect. The night view was also beautiful. Thank you for the delicious meal. We had a great time!

We visited for lunch around 13:30 with a friend. It seemed like we arrived just as a wedding had ended, as the bride, groom, and their families were taking photos near the entrance. The colorful dress of the bride was lovely. We felt a bit out of place as we nervously entered the building, almost getting mistaken for wedding guests. We had reserved a lunch course for around 3200 yen in advance, so we waited without looking at the menu. We were unsure which fork and knife to use, but eventually figured it out. The service and food were impressive, especially the green pea potage and the tender pork loin. The fish (cod) was also delicious. The homemade bread was tasty, but the herbal tea stood out as particularly good. We tend to forget to take pictures of our food before eating it. The atmosphere was a bit too formal for us, but my friend seemed to adapt quickly. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with a friend. We thought we didn't need a reservation since it was a weekday, but when we arrived, we were told they were fully booked from opening. Luckily, there was a cancellation, so we were able to get in after waiting for about 30 minutes. It made us realize that it's a popular place. We had the half course meal, which was satisfying in terms of portion size. The dishes came out smoothly one after another without having to wait, which was a big plus! It was also nice that we could get refills on the bread. The staff were all polite and wonderful. I would like to visit again when I have the chance.

We made a reservation and chose the course on the spot. There was a drink service coupon on the official website. People who had their wedding here get a 10% discount. We bought bread on the way back and it was delicious. It was fluffy and chewy. I thought I could eat this every day. All the dishes were wonderful, beautifully presented, and served quickly even though we were fast eaters. The pasta was a bit too salty, which was surprising. That's about it. The fondant chocolate was irresistible. I might come back for Christmas or something.

I had the half course dinner course. I had been here for lunch a few times during the day, and I had been wanting to come at night as well, so I went with my family on my birthday. I thought the atmosphere and service were good. The night view was also very beautiful, and if you make a reservation, you can get a window seat, so it's also good for a date☆ However, I felt that the taste of the food was okay for the price. Since lunch is cheaper and you can get full, I prefer the lunch☆ In May 2015, I had the lunch course after a long time. The appetizer was a bit salty, but everything else was delicious, and the asparagus was sweet and tasty. As I was drinking herbal tea after the meal and thinking about leaving soon, a staff member accidentally dropped ice on the floor. It was like a pot to add water to, and since it was towards the end of lunchtime and there were few customers, I was surprised by the sound when it was dropped, but everyone quickly returned to their conversations. It's a shame.

I went to Asahikawa. It's Foresta Verde. The location is Takasago-dai. I drove there again. The first time, I got lost and ended up at the back entrance (bitter smile), and unfortunately couldn't get in because it was full. This time, I made a reservation and visited. Still, I couldn't secure the popular window-side seat. This restaurant recommends making a reservation. The parking lot is spacious and easy to park. The restaurant is located on the second floor of Bloomington Hill, a popular wedding venue. As soon as you enter, there is a small lobby with a large sunflower arrangement. It seems like a wedding venue. The restaurant is on the second floor. The ceiling is high, and the large windows offer a beautiful view of the Daisetsuzan Mountain Range. As someone who spent their childhood in Asahigaoka, I feel familiar with the mountains and it calms me somehow. The restaurant was almost full. The affordable pasta course was tempting, but this time I decided to try the "Hill-raised Locally Grown Pork and Cold Pasta Fair" course that was displayed at the entrance. The Fantasia (1,944 yen including tax) includes 7 items and is a recommended half course. Antipasto/Smoked Homemade Pork Tongue with Mustard Sauce As this restaurant focuses on "locally grown fresh vegetables," the appetizer uses plenty of vegetables from the nearby town of Higashikawa. It is beautifully decorated with edible flowers. Beautiful! The smoked pork tongue goes well with the mustard sauce and is easy to eat. Bread is served here. It is homemade bread. Since there is a bakery shop on the premises, they bake it here. You can choose olive oil to enjoy with the bread. The options are plain, garlic, chili, orange, yuzu, rosemary, and basil. I chose rosemary, and you can clearly smell the aroma. It was delicious too. I want to try the other options as well. Zuppa/Pumpkin Potage A rich pumpkin soup with just the right amount. Primo Piatto/Cold Arrabbiata with Small Shrimps and Summer Vegetables My wife, who loves corn, chose the cold carbonara, and I chose this one. It has plenty of summer vegetables in a cold pasta dish. The plump small shrimps were delicious too. Secondo Piatto/Tomato-stewed Pork Cheek This is pork cheek. What kind of meat is that? I wait with a little anxiety. Here it is. It looks like slow-cooked beef tendon, but the texture is similar to fillet meat and very tender. Despite the impactful name, it was a delicious meat dish with excellent stability. The sauce that came with it was also superb. Bread is served again. Oh, happiness! Dolce/Citrus and Rosé Wine Jelly with Lemon Gelato A beautiful summer dessert. The ephemeral feeling created by the transparency and color is lovely. A summer dream, perhaps? Considering the difference from the pasta course, this one is more cost-effective. The whole staff worked hard. Especially the new staff? The female staff's service, which still feels fresh and earnest, also conveys a natural kindness that my wife greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work. We support you. Now, to summarize. I love this kind of restaurant with a great location, and I'll evaluate it with a calm attitude. It may be difficult for everyday use, but it's a very good restaurant. The location, view, staff, and food are all kept at a level that is not too high.
