Lunch visit. There was only one group ahead of us, so we were seated quickly. Once inside, we purchased our meal tickets. The tempura seemed reasonably priced.
- Shrimp Tempura: 1100 yen
- Toppings: Mochi (50 yen), Chicken Tempura (100 yen)
The tempura was hot and crispy, very delicious. The portion of udon seemed a bit small. There were various types of dishes besides the bukkake udon, which was nice.
- Rice: 100 yen
The rice was very cheap. The homemade bonito flakes on the rice were not overpowering, making it easy to eat. Thank you for the meal.

Before pressing the food ticket button, I hesitated, but I decided to go with the "natto and green onion-covered bukkake" that was advertised in front of me. My chopsticks broke in a weird place, so I asked for a new pair and some yuzu pepper. The tempura coating on the chicken was crispy, and the inside was juicy. The chewy and smooth udon noodles were also excellent. The fact that there is always a line proves it, right?

- Ordered items: Myoga Bukkake Tempura Udon, Niku Bukkake Udon
- Description: The meat in the Niku Bukkake Udon is sweetly seasoned, and the udon noodles are thick and homemade. The udon has a firm texture and is deliciously slurp-worthy. The set with tempura had a strong impact with the myoga topping, and it was quite tasty.

There are many autographed color papers of celebrities displayed. I ordered the Tsukemen Udon of Chabuta (tax included 850 yen) with an extra noodle (tax included 120 yen). The noodles have a good firmness and are smooth, making it easy to swallow. The pork has no unpleasant smell, with a sweet taste that is delicious. Of course, the broth is just right for dipping noodles. I would like to visit this restaurant again.

After a personal training session, I was feeling hot and sore from muscle fatigue, so I decided to stop by this place for the first time! Since I wanted to replenish my protein, I chose the "Tororo Tomato Riten Bukkake Udon" dish. I also added some tempura on the side (lol). I got 2 pieces of tempura chicken, a soft-boiled egg tempura, and some mochi tempura. I quickly dipped the mochi tempura in the broth while it was still hot, and enjoyed it with some yuzu pepper. The noodles were smooth and chewy, it was amazing! I feel recovered now! I will definitely come back again!

The reason I visited this restaurant was because of my favorite idol, but the dashi was delicious and the noodles were very chewy and tasty. I found a delicious udon that I would recommend even without any idol connection! It was a hot day, so I ordered the cold bukkake udon with chikuwa and eggplant tempura. The ticket machine only accepted cash, but if you tell the staff, they also accept payment through PayPay. Thank you for your polite service even though you were busy. It was very delicious!

A few years ago, a friend told me about this place. I visited around 2 pm on a weekday, and although there were no lines, about 70% of the seats were filled. I ordered 3 pieces of chicken tempura udon (cold) for 830 yen and an additional chicken tempura for 150 yen. The udon noodles had a chewy texture with just the right amount of firmness, making it enjoyable to eat. The tempura was crispy, especially the chicken tempura which had a sweet flavor and was delicious. Overall, I think it's on par with the average udon shops in the area. I would like to visit again if I'm nearby.

A famous Sanuki udon restaurant in Shinmachi, Osaka. This time, we rented out the restaurant for the first time at night with a group. The main dish for the night was a chicken and pork loin meat hot pot. The amount of meat was quite satisfying. The tempura consisted of shrimp, zucchini, and chikuwa. After the hot pot, we were served the eagerly awaited udon. Not only was it delicious as expected, but they brought out so much that it felt like all-you-can-eat. They also offered curry udon, which was also delicious because of the good broth. The self-service drink bar was a bit of a hassle. The service was not the best, which was disappointing, but the food was really good and the cost performance was great at a budget of 3,800 yen. Reservations are available for 2 people or more by phone. Private reservations are available for groups of 10 or more. The drink bar is available for groups of 4 or more.

I have been exploring udon restaurants since 2023. Today, I had some errands in the neighborhood and was wondering what to eat. It was around 11 am, a perfect time for a search, and since I have been into udon lately, I decided to enter a place just as it opened. We were the second group to arrive, and more customers started coming in later. We decided to share, and I always go for curry udon wherever I go. This time, the curry udon looked a bit plain since we didn't add any toppings. The presentation and the texture of the bowl were okay. The curry was a bit watery and mild in flavor, and the udon noodles were on the softer side. I prefer them to be a bit chewier. The Yamato Special Bukkake Cold Curry had a more springy texture compared to the curry udon. The egg had a bright yellow yolk, and the chikuwa tempura had a rich flavor, which was nice. The udon might vary in preference, but personally, I would have liked a bit more bite to it. The prices were quite affordable compared to other udon places I've been to recently. Overall, it was a satisfying meal!

During work, around 1pm on a visit during bad weather, there were two people ahead of me in line. The staff were energetic and friendly. There were middle school students in front of me who were struggling with the ticket machine, so I kindly helped them. I had a bowl of Bukkake Udon (regular) with egg tempura, fish cake tempura, and shrimp tempura x2. The noodles were smooth and chewy, the broth was flavorful but slightly sweet, and the tempura was delicious. It was a very tasty meal. Thank you for the meal.

The system of buying meal tickets from a vending machine allows you to calmly choose what you want to eat since it's just a text-based machine. Even if there were people waiting behind you, it couldn't be helped. Fortunately, there was no one waiting behind me, but the restaurant was bustling. I ordered Curry Udon with Kamatama (udon noodles with raw egg) and a side of chicken tempura using the meal tickets. The Kamatama Curry Udon was a unique idea with curry poured over the Kamatama. The chicken tempura made with Oyama chicken was a specialty of the restaurant, and I was glad I bought the meal ticket for it. The Kamatama Udon was already mixed with egg, which was tasty, but I felt it needed more salt. Mixing it with the curry was a perfect combination. The curry spices were provided separately, allowing me to adjust the spiciness to my liking. The Oyama chicken tempura was crispy and flavorful, perfect on its own or dipped in the curry. Halfway through, I started dipping it in the curry, creating a delicious combination of flavors.

After eating a quite spicy European-style curry, the tingling sensation in my mouth wouldn't go away. Since I had a little room left in my stomach, I decided to eat something cold. I found a nearby udon restaurant with high ratings. I purchased a meal ticket from the machine. I chose the "Chicken and Chikuwa Tempura Udon" based on a recommendation from a sign. Tempura seemed to be a popular item here. The order was ready shortly after. The condiments included green onions, grated daikon radish, and ginger. When I slurped the udon, it wasn't too firm, but had a nice chewiness. The texture was soft and smooth. The tempura was hot and freshly fried. The chicken tempura was tender and juicy, with a crispy exterior. The chikuwa tempura was also large in size. I enjoyed dipping them in the udon broth. By the time I finished eating, it was lunchtime and the restaurant was starting to get crowded. Thank you for the meal!

[Waiting time] None, 2 people in the restaurant
[Service] Excellent
[Will visit again] Yes
[Payment method] Cash
[Turnover] Moderate
[Dish: Chikuta Tempura Udon (cold)
[Noodles] Slightly thick flat noodles
[Ingredients] Chikuwa tempura, egg tempura, grated daikon radish, grated ginger, chopped green onions
[Service time] 7 minutes
The udon noodles were slightly flat and thick, with a smooth texture and decent firmness, but a bit lacking for a cold dish. The chikuwa tempura had a flavorful filling but the batter was not completely crispy, which was a downside. The egg tempura could have been fried a bit more for a preferred semi-soft yolk. Overall, the meal was delicious, though.

Opened in 2009, this udon restaurant is a great choice for solo diners. I tried the Chicken and Chikuwa Tempura Cold Bukkake Udon for 800 yen. When I visited on a Saturday before noon, I was lucky to snag the last seat. The line wasn't too long, and the turnover seemed fast. You order at the ticket machine by the entrance, and I opted for the Chicken and Chikuwa Tempura Cold Bukkake style. The udon had a great texture, slightly al dente with a good chewiness typical of Osaka udon. Personally, I prefer a bit more sweetness in the broth, but the tempura, especially the thick chikuwa tempura, was my favorite. I recommend trying it without dipping it in the broth!

This place seemed close yet far away. I finally got to visit after hearing how delicious it was. I arrived around 8 pm. When I entered the restaurant, there were a few customers scattered around. It seemed like our orders overlapped, so it would take a bit of time. The restaurant had about 6-7 box seats, and it was surprisingly spacious. I waited for about 20 minutes. This time, I ordered the following:
- Yomogi Special Bukkake (chicken tempura, fish cake tempura, half-boiled egg tempura, and Wagyu beef) for 1,180 yen.
The appearance of the dish seemed shallow and not very filling. But when I tasted it, it was quite a generous portion! The fish cake tempura was surprisingly long, about 20 cm? As the name suggests, the tempura was extremely delicious! It was crispy and juicy, freshly fried. The chicken tempura was lightly seasoned, but it still had a good flavor. I also tried it with the recommended salt, which enhanced the taste. After finishing all the tempura, I mixed the egg tempura with the remaining tempura crumbs, like a Kama-tama style, and it was surprisingly delicious! Not only were there signs from the Gobu Gobu show, but also many celebrities' autographs. It's quite popular, it seems. I want to go back to try other tempura and udon dishes!

Located 3 minutes on foot from Nishiohashi Station. 11 minutes walk from Shinsaibashi Station. 9 minutes walk from Hommachi Station. Udon Tempura Yamato. Menu: Let's order the Chicken Tempura with Lots of Green Onions on Bukkake Udon (850 yen) right away. Three large pieces of chicken tempura topped with plenty of green onions. The udon has a smooth texture, a slight chewiness, and is chewy. In short, it's really "sexy udon". Delicious... The chicken tempura is crispy with a light coating. It's a perfect match with the generous amount of green onions. Maybe the bukkake style was the right choice? However, I am curious about the texture of the udon in a hot soup. I would like to try hot udon next time. Thank you for the meal! Check out the website that introduces restaurants in the center of Osaka - https://higachannpoko.com. Also, please follow on Instagram! I slid in before noon. I ordered a bowl of udon with bird and egg tempura for 800 yen. The Kansai-style broth soup is delicious. The udon noodles are smooth, chewy, and have a good texture. I added free ginger and tempura flakes. I made a mistake by adding them too early, at the beginning. It's good for changing the flavor, but since the broth soup is so tasty, I should have savored it a bit more before adding them. The egg tempura is half-cooked, so it bursts open, making it better to catch it with the bowl.

I visited "Udon and Tempura Yamato" in Nishi Ward, Osaka City. It is located about 230 meters north of exit 2 of Nishi-Ohashi Station on the Osaka Metro Nagahori Tsurumi Ryokuchi Line. When I visited at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, there were 9 customers already there. The interior has 3 counter seats, 3 2-person table seats, 2 4-person table seats, and 1 6-person table seat. The lighting is dim with only downlights. I selected the "Chicken and Eggplant Nanjing Tempura Udon" for 800 yen from the ticket machine. Since it falls under the "Choose Your Udon" category, I chose the "Cold Bukkake" option. Both the udon noodles and dipping sauce were nicely chilled, which felt very refreshing. When I slurped the thick udon noodles, I enjoyed the chewy texture on the surface and the sticky resistance just before biting through, reminiscent of mochi. The bukkake sauce was slightly sweet with a subtle soy sauce acidity that gave it a sharp flavor. The tempura consisted of pumpkin tempura with a light batter, moist chicken breast tempura with a natural seasoning, and eggplant tempura that released a juicy umami flavor when bitten into. It was a delicious meal.

Tonight, I had dinner here. I had been here for lunch before, but this time I came in to warm up on a cold night. Surprisingly, despite being a popular restaurant, there was no one inside. I tried the Chikuta-ma Tempura Udon (Chikuwa and egg tempura for 200 yen) with Udon noodles for 600 yen. The freshly fried chikuwa and egg tempura were delicious when lightly dipped in the broth. The main udon noodles were firm and had a strong salty flavor with a hint of wheat aroma. It seemed like the broth had become richer. Maybe this restaurant is more popular for lunch than dinner? Thank you for the meal!

Wait time: None
Menu: Toritama Tempura Udon (bukkake cold) 800 yen + Takana rice 100 yen
I aimed to visit Kadoya Shokudo, but the line was too long so I gave up and went to Yamato-san instead. Since it was late, there was no wait and I was able to enter smoothly. However, customers were continuously coming in. I ordered the Toritama Tempura Udon (bukkake cold) and then added Takana rice after being seated. The udon noodles had a firm texture with a good chew, which I like. The dashi soy sauce was slightly sweet and delicious. The chicken tempura was crispy and juicy, and the egg was perfectly runny and very delicious. The seasoning was also tasty, making it a udon shop that I really enjoyed. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.
