I ordered the Alchemy Salad Bar for 1,800 yen. After placing the order, I was called to the counter in turn to choose my ingredients. I selected four types of ingredients. If you want to choose more than that, there is an additional charge. The space is spacious, and the vegetables were very delicious.

I came across this place on Twitter and thought it looked delicious, so I decided to visit since I had business nearby. After some indecision, I ordered a salad bar where I could customize it to my liking! The sautéed sweet potatoes and shiitake mushrooms from the daily special were especially tasty, and the roasted pumpkin (which is on the regular menu) was also really delicious. The kale tahini was fantastic as well, without the usual bitterness of kale. However, the portion was really large, and I couldn't finish it, which left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. I'd love to visit again, perhaps just for a café experience next time.

I arrived right when the restaurant opened on Saturday, and it wasn't too crowded, so I was able to relax. The interior was very cute, and the scenery was great, making it perfect for photos! You place your order via a QR code from your seat. This time, I ordered the Alchemy Bowl. It was quite filling, and I ended up very satisfied. The flavor was something I wasn't used to, but it was delicious in its own way. I actually wanted to order dessert as well, but I had to give that up. Instead, I got a pink latte. I thought it might be strawberry, but when I tasted it, I was surprised—it wasn't sweet at all! It had almond milk and beets, which was a unique flavor for me. The menu has detailed explanations, so I recommend checking that out in advance. I think this place is reasonably priced and convenient compared to other spots in Azabudai Hills. I had a fun lunch, and the staff was very friendly. Thank you!

I heard that a restaurant from Bali has opened in Tokyo, so I decided to check it out, and it was absolutely delicious! Although I'm not vegan, the meals were very filling, and one dish was enough to satisfy my hunger. This time I couldn't try the acai bowl that I was really curious about because I was too full, but I definitely want to have it next time!

I had a Bali-inspired bowl dish, and it was delicious with a variety of flavors. Even though it had a generous portion, I enjoyed every bite without getting bored. The interior of the restaurant was filled with natural light, and it was clean and pleasant to spend time in. Additionally, I don't like cold water, so I appreciated that there was no ice in the water! The mint water was refreshing.

I ordered the Alchemy Bowl, which is from Bali! There were a lot of menu items I had never heard of, but everything had a tasty flavor and was easy to eat! I thought it might not fill me up since it was healthy, but the portions were substantial, and I ended up very satisfied!

Vegetable lovers are sure to be satisfied here. Not only are there salads, but also resort-style dishes and noodle options, allowing for a variety of orders. They use ingredients like beans, nuts, and beets—things I usually buy and cook with, but that you don't often see in restaurants, which was a nice surprise. And the taste was genuinely delicious. In the end, I also ordered some Dent's chocolate to take home, which is definitely to my liking. I want to visit this place again!

I visited a cafe in Azabudai Hills for the second time. We were a group of five and shared two types of salads, two types of pasta, a chocolate cake, and an acai bowl (sorry, no photos!). Everything was delicious, and my vegan friend declared it the best vegan restaurant she’s ever been to! In the end, the bill was split, so it came to 2,500 yen per person. While it’s tasty, the individual items are on the pricier side, so I recommend going with three or more people to share. There’s a wide variety on the menu, so I encourage non-vegan visitors to check it out too!

I rushed in just before the last order…! I ordered the Alchemy Lover salad bowl (¥2,200), thinking I could always eat something else later if I didn't find it filling. But when it arrived, I was surprised by the volume!! Even without meat or starchy ingredients, the edamame and pumpkin seeds were so satisfying! And the crispy sesame onion is incredibly delicious. I think I’ll try other salad bowls next time!

Born in Bali, the rice bowl is 1,800 yen. The Americano is 650 yen. The chia hemp pudding is 1,200 yen. Coffee is served first, and there is no option to have it after the meal, which is something I hope they can improve. The "Born in Bali" dish is a brown rice deli plate. It has a decent amount of rice, making it quite filling. However, the overall taste is rather bland and can get monotonous. If you're health-conscious, it seems that this level of mild flavor is necessary—something to reflect on. The pudding, on the other hand, lacks the pudding element. The coconut whip on top is quite greasy, making it difficult to enjoy on its own. Essentially, it's mostly a cream mixed with chia seeds. It’s hard to bear without mixing in some berries. There seems to be a thin layer of something pudding-like at the bottom, but it's hardly noticeable.

I came here because I wanted to try delicious and unusual vegetables. The stylish space has a generous distance between the seats, making it easy to relax. The vegetables are tasty, and the brown rice is flavorful without any unpleasant odor. I ended up indulging in the weekend-only soft serve ice cream as well. However, since it's made from plant ingredients, it didn't upset my stomach, and I enjoyed every bite until the end!

When my friends and I decide to go for a salad, I always get the lentil salad topped with Kokobari Island birth (¥2,100). It’s a vegan place, so there's no meat, but it’s incredibly satisfying. The flavors are unique and unlike anything from other salad shops, making me want to go back even from far away. I’m starting to want to try other menu items, but I just can’t seem to get out of the Alchemy Bowl!

I had the Alchemy Salad (which you can customize with a base of leaf salad or quinoa) and the Ruby Maniac cold-pressed juice with beets. The toppings were well-seasoned, so I was able to enjoy every bite of the large bowl of greens until the very end.

A naturalist who values coexistence with nature is gathering from all over the world... The vegan restaurant 'Alchemy', located in Ubud, Bali, is opening its first location in Japan... All the menu items use only plant-based ingredients... No meat, fish, eggs, dairy, or white sugar are included... Additionally, everything is gluten-free... We also do not use umami seasoning or chemical additives... I visited the restaurant on a casual afternoon, around 11:30, without a reservation and was able to enter smoothly. When it first opened, I remember there being long lines and it being quite crowded, but now it seems to have a more relaxed vibe, likely due to the higher prices. The seating was spacious and comfortable, and the crowd was mostly composed of stylish women, creating a quiet atmosphere. It feels like a perfect place to spend a leisurely time.
I ordered the Alchemy Salad Bar for 1800 yen. The process is as follows: Step 1, choose a base of either lettuce, quinoa, or brown rice. Step 2, select four toppings from the counter. Step 3, choose one dressing. Step 4, you can add a premium item for an extra 300 yen.
Ordering is done via a QR code at your table, and then you'll be called up to choose your four toppings on top of the lettuce. Each additional topping costs 300 yen. There are about ten different dressings to choose from, all of which looked delicious. Although drinks and desserts also looked quite tempting, they’re extra costs, so I decided to stick with just the salad this time.
The ingredients and dressings have a bit of extra flair, and the presentation is vibrant and delightful. Depending on what you choose, the portion might not be very large, so it might be best for light eating while enjoying the atmosphere.

It was delicious! I thought the portion would be small, but surprisingly I feel quite full, maybe because I had hot chocolate. The meal was refreshing, and with the brown rice, I could enjoy a variety of flavors. It made me feel healthy. I've never been to Bali, but if I could enjoy meals like this, I would love to go!

I wanted to make sure I ate plenty of vegetables, so I visited this restaurant. Since I went early, there were no other customers. They had a custom option where you can choose your own ingredients, as well as set menus with predetermined combinations. The set menus all looked delicious and seemed well-balanced, but I wanted to try a variety of ingredients, so I chose the salad bar option this time. I placed my order through my smartphone at the table. While I waited, my friend's set menu arrived first. It mentioned that those with custom orders should wait until they are called by the staff, so I waited a bit longer. Eventually, I was called to the counter, where I chose my ingredients one by one. By the time my custom order was ready, my friend had already finished quite a bit of their food, which made me think they should improve the timing of the food delivery. Everything I had was plant-based since I’m vegan, so even things that looked meaty were made from plants. The texture wasn't as filling as meat, so people who want a hearty meal might find it insufficient. However, it felt great to eat something healthy without feeling guilty, which is a big plus. I would definitely like to visit again.

I found it surprisingly challenging to eat alone at Azabudai Hills, but I went there with my wife! We had the Alchemy Salad, which cost 2,200 yen—more expensive than a salad chain. However, the quality and the thoughtful details of each ingredient were much better here. My wife ordered the Pure Celery drink, which was extremely pure and tasted like unsweetened green juice.

After our holiday lunch, we found ourselves in a bit of a scramble trying to decide where to have tea. We realized we could only choose one place to wait in line for, so we picked one with a shorter queue. While we were waiting, I discovered it was a vegan café. With such a strong focus on health, there were many items that might not suit my taste. I opted for a normal American coffee, while my friend chose some suspicious-looking tea, haha. We also shared some taro pancakes. It made me really appreciate the animals that provide us with food. The atmosphere of the café was really nice and had a sense of openness.

**Restaurant Name:** ALCHEMY
**Nearest Station:** Kamiyacho Station, 9-minute walk
**Genre:** Vegan Cuisine
**Order Details:**
- Today's Soup (Pumpkin Soup) ¥1540
- Reishi Chocolate Shake ¥1400
**Review:** I visited the vegan restaurant "ALCHEMY," located on the 4th floor of the Azabudai Hills Tower Plaza. This restaurant serves plant-based dishes originating from Bali. Vegan cuisine refers to meals that do not contain any animal products and are made solely from plant-based ingredients. Their dishes are free from white sugar and chemical seasonings, making them seem very healthy.
**Pumpkin Soup:** The soothing sweetness of pumpkin combined with coconut milk was delicious, to the point that you wouldn't realize it was vegan. However, there seemed to be a herb on top that tasted like cilantro, so those who dislike cilantro should be cautious.
**Reishi Chocolate Shake:** This shake includes raw chocolate ice cream, almond milk, chocolate sauce, and coconut whipped cream, but it had a somewhat peculiar taste that I personally found unappealing. Additionally, I felt that ¥1400 was a bit too expensive for it. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
